I had requested the Wallingford, CT location. Uhaul sent me ~50 miles away...over an hour's drive to pick up the truck. This was ridiculous! While Rod at Goldie Locks location was very helpful and apologetic, it didn't really make up for the amount of time it took just to get the truck. Also, it would have been nice if he gave me a run down on the truck...like how to adjust the mirrors.

The GPS we all use does not tell us which roads are illegal to drive on with a UHaul. Providing guidance will help us from trying to located legal routes.

Service attendant was friendly and helpful. His office was an absolute mess. Truck was brand new and spotless, but hung up in low gear twice while in use. The location did not have pads or a dolly which had been reserved (at Westchester, CT location), so I had to go back to Westchester to get them.

I originally reserved a Uhaul truck for 3/10/2018 at Westchester Market in Colchester Ct .. I never heard from them and I was getting worried ! I stopped by on Friday 3/9/2018 and there was a note on the door saying they had no power and they were closed ! So the day before my move I went to search for another Uhaul at Goldilocks storage and thank God they had one for me !! Thank goodness I stopped by Westchester Market the day before my move or I wouldn’t of had a uhaul for my move ! I was very angry that I never got a call from them saying they were closed and I think it was unprofessional! Goldilocks Storage saved the day for me and I appreciate them !

Pickup location was too far from location I chose when making my reservation

Grado:

It would have been nice if someone told me I could have picked up the cargo van I rented the day before I actually needed it so I could pack it the night before instead of hurrying to try to get to my destination on time the morning I picked it up. Poor communication overall

The office was busy on a Sunday afternoon but someone form the office came immediately out to help me unhook the trailer. They took my name and made checking out a breeze.

Uhaul sent an email which said I have to go to a different location then what I picked to get truck. That location was multiple towns away at least 10 miles. I called said I couldn't do that. They first offered me a 20ft truck (which cost more money). We have 4 uhaul locations in my town I asked them to check and they found the truck I needed. Why didn't they do that first???
