I dropped off Uhaul at wrong location on 3/18/17 Same town as the other location that I was supposed to drop it off yet. When I realized my mistake I called the 1800 UHAUL 3/19/17 to tell them about it. The lady that I spoke to was REALLY rude. She told me at first I would be charged double because I dropped it off at the wrong location. If the conversation was recorded you can go back and hear how she treated me, a customer. I have used U Haul in the past and my family members as well. I have never had any trouble or issues until Sunday the 19th. Thanks Karen Owens

The lady with whom I dealt was not very friendly from the moment I entered the store, but I figured she was just having a rotten day or something. When I reserved the truck, she quoted a price of $0.69 per mile, and when I changed the reservation from Thursday to Friday, (done a few minutes later after I understood the return times relative to daily charges), she did NOT inform me that Friday counted as "weekend" rates, so it was $0.99 per mile. Since I drove the truck 140 miles, this was $42 more than I expected. When I went back later to inquire about the higher charge on the emailed receipt instead of the quoted rate, (at which time I learned about the weekend rate), I mentioned to her (very politely) that she really should have told me about the different rate when I changed the day, and she was not even vaguely apologetic, and was almost, but not quite, rude. I would have rented the truck for Friday in either case, but the customer should know up front what the charge will be. This is NOT good for the U-Haul reputation.
