I booked Carrollton as drop off location but it got changed without my permission to another location 40min away. The representative on call was very rude and refused to help me change my location back to Carrollton until I asked for supervisor. It was a good experience except for drop off problem. The truck was awful. It shook violently between 30-40mph, and at any speed over 65 it shook so violently that it was not driveable. Because I could not physically do the speed limit, it turned a 7 hour drive into an 11 hour slog. I've left feedback when returning the truck and I truly hope it is reviewed and the truck is fixed. The mobile app didn't clearly indicate what is the ID of the equipment I should be looking at - I thought it was a license plate number of a truck.. .A very helpful employee respectfully pointed out to me the right location of the tag at the top of each vehicle... Also, I was under impression that entire process was going to be online only - but I was asked to enter the store to retrieve the truck key... Totally cool to enter the store - just didn't seem to match expectations given to me during app check out processMaksim B.
I set up my truck several weeks in advance along with dollies and the new u-haul totes. When I went to pick up my truck I used the u-haul app as I was hoping to make things as quick as possible. Firstly it took a very long time to find the truck because they were parked everywhere with no apparent system. When I finally found it I could do nothing because the truck was locked with a key lock rather than a combination lock. So I had to go inside, where there was only one person behind the counter and about 10 people in line. Thankfully the person behind the counter could see in the system I had checked in through the app and motioned me forward to get my truck key. I thought things were looking up at this point, however, it was clear my truck had not been looked at since the last person turned it in. There were items from the previous person in the back as well as in the cab. To make matters even worse it had 1/6 tank of gas or 40 mile range. Thankfully a credit was put onto my account of $42 to compensate for this, but the extra time was not appreciated since I absolutely had to put gas in the truck first before I could do anything else. So obviously since the truck had not been looked at since the last person dropped it off, clearly that meant they weren't prepared for me at all. So then I had to go back inside and wait in line to ask for my dollies and my totes. All in all I was there about an hour before I was able to finally leave. Just disappointed in the lack of preparation and care for their customers time. They should have more people working at the front desk to maintain the line to a reasonable amount of people and the trucks should be prepared and ready by the pick-up time. Thankfully I had no issues with the truck or any of the equipment and all worked as intended. Not saying I wouldn't come to this location again, but I will probably talk directly to a manager if I do to ensure they will have my truck ready with everything I need when I arrive.Joseph C.

Our entire rental experience was superb from the reservation to check in to drop off. An organization's culture is driven from the top down and clearly this U-Haul location is operated by a team of experienced and customer-oriented professionals. Having rented U-Hauls for various reasons over the past 20 years, we have never experienced a more professional operation than what we encountered yesterday. The reservation process was simple with an accurate quote. We received a courtesy follow up within minutes of making our reservation, advising us as to the location of our rental. At time of check-in, Miguel (Owner) took care of us extremely efficiently and we were in and out in minutes. At time of drop-off, the U-Haul support and cleaning crew took possession of the cargo van with courtesy. Even a follow up with Kevin demonstrated the high degree of professionalism this group exemplifies. You will not be disappointed.LAURA H.
