I I would NEVER recommend or EVER use uhaul again, not because of the individual location but because of the horrible customer service I received. But I guess when you're such a large company you can just do whatever you want and screw your customers and it really doesn't matter. 0 stars from me. Uhaul is by far the worst business I've ever dealt with, has cost me an extra $1000 that I will be giving to a competitor, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know how it's better to spend your money with a more expensive truck rental company rather than run the risk of having to deal with the uhaul corporate officeAshley D.

The woman taking care of us at this location didn't appear to be familiar with the process. She charged me for 96 (yes, ninety-six) blankets (I had requested maybe 10) - nonetheless the truck had none of the equipment or supplies I was charged for. None of the blankets or dollies were in there. When I asked her to see if the truck had everything I had been charged for, she told us â€œno, there's nothing in thereâ€ and proceeded to continue to complete the paperwork for us (charging for 96 blankets). It turned out there was another truck there that had the equipment and supplies in it. WE had to transfer everything to our truck. When I asked her about the 96 blankets, she said that it was probably an error. I asked her to correct it. Then she randomly charged me for 12 blankets. When I asked how she came up with 12, she said because â€œshe knew it was more than 10â€. It turned out there were 14 blankets in the truck, so I asked her to charge me precisely for 14. She did changed the number to 14 but she didn't adjust the amount that my credit card was charged for. When I asked her about this, she told me that I'll need to call UHAUL to request the adjustment. Also she told us that we can drop off the truck at any location, and we can drop it off at the nearest one to our house. This again turned out to be incorrect information. I wish I had a different experience, but based on what happened and how we felt when we left this location, I do not recommend anyone to do business with UHAUL at the 50 LIBERTY STREET,BATAVIA NY location.Maria B.
I reserved a larger truck for 2 days before my move, and was called a few days later to find it wasn't available. I had arranged for the truck when I did so that I could have friends able to help me. Getting the truck on a Monday was very stressful and inconvenient.Crystal D.
We filled out our rental request online for a 10' truck and a set of packing blankets. When we got to the pickup location, I had to go through the whole process again. When asked were we wanted to drop it off (we had already specified online the Canal St. location) we were not given our original request but locations further away from us. The truck did not have the packing blankets. When we called Uhaul about the blankets, the representative said this hadn't happened before and didn't seem interested that a mistake was made! The people at Batavia Automotive were good and I don't think the blanket issue was anything they did wrong. It was the rental request process that was a problem and trying to resolve the problems on the phone.Kurt D.
I was advised to pick up my key in the lock box an hour before the facility opened and they neglected to put the key in the box. I was forced to wait an extra hour for the shop owner to give me the key. I was also transferred to this location the day before my trip after booking my truck WEEKS in advance. Not to mention the new location added an additional hour and a half drive on top of my already very long car trip. Needless to say I am very disappointed in my experience and hope I never need to rent a uhual ever again.Natalie H.
