Grado:

U-haul customer service on the phone was great, an the day when I droped off the truck, on Sunday@ ~12:23pm; I called your office an they helped me. I thank you so much for telling it is ok, that everything will work out fine. I didn't want to go back to talk to that salesman, thanks again. I don't know if I have to send you the bill back, or have to sign something? But the Bill is fine. Thank you again for talking to me, an letting me know what's going on and everything is fine. Daniel Clifford Campbell. :)

Grado:

The gentleman who helped me was very nice. The location is not a U-haul facility so it was somewhat difficult to find. That’s the only reason why I gave it an “average” rating!

This location in Albuquerque is a bit hidden but a gem. We had a fantastic experience renting from this location and would recommend this to anyone in Albuquerque looking for a U-Haul. Great service, friendly, knowledgeable, and personable.

The inclusion of a broom to sweep out the cargo hold when returning the vehicle would be beneficial for the renter.

Grado:

The rented van was just fine. Perfect condition. Problem was the customer service: The person who checked me in seemed to struggle with the computer program. Couldn't locate the record of a rental just two days before -- which had pertinent info -- and seemed uncertain about the entire process. Took almost 30 minutes to complete the process. Unprofessional, unacceptable. Will never return to this location.

Grado:

The only reason I accepted the van I rented was that it was the first of the month, I had just bought a desk I needed to get home, and no one else had any vans or trucks. It smelled so bad, we had to drive with both windows open to be able to breath. I ran home after dropping it off, to wash my hair and clothes, since everything stunk. Also, the windshield was so dirty, it was hard to see out of it. When I brought the van back and pointed these things out to the owner of the location, he first said that he has no way of knowing if something is wrong with it unless the last rider tells him. He also blamed the UHaul system for making the reservation without telling him. He was blaming everyone and everything for his lack of quality control. I figured I would tell him what was wrong, get a I'm so sorry, and be on my way, but he wouldn't let me go, with all his blaming. No wonder he had a lot full on the first of the month, when everyone else was empty.
