The gas gauge in the truck not working properly. Service representative pretends to fill gas with 5 gallons only for 10 miles of use. I highly recommend to check on that

Had earlier experience with Uhaul female customer service over he phone that was horrible. She insisted a prior location had a 20’ truck and they did not—-I was there. Need to work on the phone reps.

The location is fine. We had a terrible experience with the 24/7 pick up. We were an hour late than our estimated pick up time. When we arrived and logged in, our account said we had no reservations. It took us close to an hour of trying to figure out what happened. We eventually got ahold of someone online who said because we were not there at the set time, our reservation was cancelled. Due to the 1 hour delay in getting the truck, we then missed the return time and were charged an extra day. We are very disappointed in the experience and will not be using the 24/7 feature again. There was no notification online that the pick up time was strict and not being there would result in a cancelled reservation. We had to speak to multiple people in this process, and everyone gave a different story and said'i don't know why that last person told you that, they don't know what they are talking about'. It seems no one understood your own process.

Please fix the agent interface, picking up my truck was delay 20 minutes due to “overloaded servers.” It’s 2019, either you have garbage servers, or the agent was full of crap, either is a problem.

The good, Christopher Caulfield was great, very friendly and helpful! The bad, You should refund the u-haul insurance charge if it is not used. I spent an extra $14 on absolutely nothing (I drove the truck for 1.5 hours and less than 20 miles.) Insurance by its very nature is a rip off. It only makes you as a company look bad when you charge for an insurance waiver just in case something happens and then you keep the money when nothing does happen. By thr way, that's a great scam you have going, scaring people into buying the coverage by saying that a windshield costs $1200?! In what world is that a legit cost?? I'm not sure how you justify keeping that money if the rental is returned in perfect condition but that policy alone is why I will not use u- haul for anything in the future.

I should not have had to pay for 2 days of insurance since I returned the vehicle in less than 24 hours. The windshield washer sprayer did not work on the vehicle and no windshield washer fluid was in it. Windshield was dirty.

The guy we rented from was really stand-off-ish at first. I felt unwelcome and tried to turn the bus around by engaging in friendly conversation. It was awkward for him (it seemed). I had to ask all of the questions, he did very little to make sure we were getting what we NEEDED. It started off with me (after we had been packing our house for days so I was so tired) opening the door and him just looking at me - I said Hello first. Then I said, "I'm here to pick up my trailer." His response, "Well we don't have any trailers." Totally annoyed. There was NO ONE ELSE to take his time up. This is how the experience began. He was able to convince my husband that the $14 fee for the insurance was worth it by telling us a horror story. I recommend you go online, rent the van, go to the place when this guy is on and see for yourself. ALSO, I rented at 5pm and the paperwork said I had to return it by 4pm. Since I knew we had to do so much the following day I COUNTED ON that 24 hour period. Heck, the penalties were so huge and I was paying $200 for your van. It was really like this guy knew he'd never see me again...and treated me like a mosquito at a picnic.

It is hard to get in contact with actual place. Need to have local direct number so you are not waiting for someone to transfer call from another state. Otherwise everything was great,

Light in back cab did not work nor did the Pad lock on the back roll door. Christopher has no sales acumen. . First impression when I rented the storage unit was bad as then I dropped the Uhaul this morning and we tells me he has to charge me a cleaning fee for a little bird seed that spilled on the back bumper. I thought he was kidding but he was not. He looks at me as says, " how can I rent this vehicle to another customer, and walks away." It took me less then 30 seconds to clean. He needs to learn how to speak to customers, maybe a customer interaction class should be in his future.

I had to wait two hours before I was approved to use the truck. And, I was charged additional fees that I was not aware of. I will never use UHaul again.

Picked up truck then went to pick a ride share for U-Haul to pull behind truck. Took 20 minutes for the guy to be told I was there then another 20 minutes for him to load to trailer and hook up to truck only to find the plug on truck was in bad shape. So he went and connected another trailer to see if issue was the trailer or truck. It didn’t work so he got another guy to look at the truck which when they went to look at the fuses the lid came off of the fuse area under the hood so they said to put it in the truck cab. They said they would document the issues on my contract. All this took an hour and the told me I couldn’t tow anything which I was counting on that saving for hauling it. Then when I return the truck two days later NOTHING had been documented about the truck issues! Also the truck had only 10,000 miles on it which I would think is relatively new but when I pulled hills the AC quite blowing cold air and the truck was only half full with a load!! Can’t believe U-Haul does not do a better inspection of their equipment before it goes back on the road!!

I received an email with link prior to picking up my truck rental that told me to go to Parker Feed and Western Supply. Email only said Apache entrance, which made zero sense to anyone. After 30 minutes of trying to find the truck and no response from calling the 1800 number for help, we finally found a second UHaul location off of Apache road. We did find the truck at this location. It would have saved time and a lot of frustration if I would have been told that the truck was at a different location than stated on the instruction email.

The check-in process was incredibly clunky. The website and app need a major overhaul if they want to replace customer service. I will not be returning to UHaul for future moves.

DO NOT USE THE APP/WEBSITE. Uhaul doesn't understand what technology is. It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had online. Likely will not use uhaul in the future because of being forced to use it.

My son was charged $200 more than I was quoted and he asked about a military discount as he is active duty and was using it to move his stuff to New Mexico and was told you don’t offer one.. I think this is such a bunch of bs

For checkout, the CSR's were great, and very helpful. I tried to make it back in time to check-in in person, but missed it by 15 minutes. It was a struggle creating a login and working through the steps; a definite turn-off. I'd recommend going back to just letting customers drop the keys in the box, and having the reps do the odometer and other check-in work.

The computer system was down and I waited an hour and a half to rent the truck. They did give me a discount for the wait but a better IT system is needed and more customer support people from “U-Haul traffic”.

There was some sort of oil on the floor of the truck which we had to be cognizant of so I didn't walk away with a bunch of residue on my stuff. I also was not overly impressed with the manager's customer service. I felt as though I was inconveniencing her.

This truck with nearly 100k miles on it is ready for the junkyard! In really poor shape. Not a panel on it that wasnt scratched or dented. Rode horrible ripped seats, lots of rattles. Wouldn't use UAHUL again

Store manager was bit of rude when I went to pick up the truck. When I was clarifying about a process (on taking DL photo), he got really angry. I was trying to clarify as how that process is different between U-Hual locations as one of the other center (Highlands Ranch CO) didn't ask for my DL but Parker CO asked for it. So I was trying to clarify why it's different. He really got offended and at one point in time, he told me to cancel the rental agreement if I am not willing to provide photo. I never denied providing it, I was just trying to clarify it. He was not keen on listening at all and he told he doesn't care where I got previous truck etc etc. I was really upset with this kind of behavior. I generally don't give any bad comments for any , just to ensure they are not affected but this experience made me think about dealing with U-Haul, so wanted to bring this to your notice so that someone else will not be affected. Thank you

Truck was clean, but not so sure about being well maintained. The auto-trans shifting and brakes had abundance of clanks, rattles, creaks and groans - glad I only needed it for for a short local move rather than a long haul.

Customer service is not good and no respect for customer, they wrongly updated the ODOMETER, informed the same to front desk and they didn’t give updated agreement apart that the guy was terrible and took the keys from my hand and informed me go to and get the truck in other location. He doesn’t know how behave with customers.

Now I know why I always opt to pick up the car using a mobile app. There is a prick, who needs be on a stationary bike for hours every day, who works in that office. For the last 2 times of the 5 times that I rented a cargo van from them, their app malfunctioned. It would not let me check the car back in and then they charged me for an extra day. The last thing you want to do is talk to the condescending prick in that office! I am definitely switching to another rental location where they appreciate my business!

My reservation said there was a truck for my reservation at the U-haul on Jordan road in Centennial Colorado. I arrived early and the truck was not there and the clerk said they never have a 26 foot truck at their location. I then asked if we could find a 20 foot or larger. after thirty minutes of him communicating with another U-haul employee they found a twenty foot truck in Parker. The reservation of a truck size you need to move and it is not at the location your sent to pickup the truck is poor customer service.

Other than the fact Uhaul changed my pickup location to a place 22 miles away from where I wanted it-it was fine. The guy at the Uhaul place was very nice. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Truck ran fine.
