Location was not close to the location I requested. I made the reservation more than a month in advance so I am not sure why I needed to drive 30 miles to pick up truck. Location was not open the day I requested and the rep was nice enough to call and say I needed to pick up the vehicle a day early otherwise it would not have been available on the reservation date.CHRISTOPHER O.

I made reservations one month before moving for a truck and tow dolly. The day before the move I was told the only truck in town was an hour away south, and if I wanted a truck it would have to be that one. Also, I was told I would have to get the Dolly from a different site north.. Why offer reservations if nothing is to be reserved? A major inconvenience. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I arrived at an authorized dealer at a gas station that 1. added the $28 insurance I didn't check myself and 2. Failed to provide me the moving dolly. As I get home to load the truck I notice the second inconvenience, I'm missing a dolly. The next morning I go to pick up the dolly and was told by a female team member she would go grab the tow dolly and come right backâ€¦ I stood in the store for 40 minutes before another representative helped me because he noticed I had been waiting for a while. This was by far the most unpleasant experience I've ever had with you all and I have used your services yearly for the past 8 years. The only location that was not problematic was the drop off point because he swiftly removed the extra dolly charge.Corey A.

When we were given the truck there was coffee spilled on the interior of the cab and the back was not swept out. When we talked to the man inside they did send somebody out to clean it- But it was not ready to go and in the condition id expect. I also reserved 20 foot truck and was given a 26 foot truck and was told to take it or leave it because there wasn't a 20 foot available even though it said guaranteed availability when I reserved over a month prior. The 26 foot truck is a MUCH bigger truck than the 20, much harder to drive- it's the biggest truck you can legally drive without having a CDL, and ghazals way more gas causing extra fees for me when refueling. I would have rented from another location had I known the 20 foot truck would not have been available ahead of time. I was given no warning or notification of this change until the day of when I was picking up. When I was checking in I told him I was here for a 20 foot truck pick up and the gentleman said no I have you down for a 26 footer. I checked my email and showed him the email confirmation showing I reserved a 20 foot and he said well I don't have any 20 footers available so take it or leave it. Being that it was the day of my move I did not have other options available I took it. Location was also hard to find. There is no signage from the street advertising the U-Haul check in/out is inside the Chevron gas station. Parking is difficult.Dominique K.

The person running the night shift register was rude and in a hurry. We just walked in to get gas and to see where to park and she just assumed what our answers were going to be before we even had a chance to ask the question. I talked to someone else who was dropping off a U-Haul and they also mentioned the rude lady at the register. I had to go back in the morning to get a receipt for the gas since she closed the till before we could finish pumping and the service team way better. They were all super nice and helpful. 180 degree difference from the evening to the morning. If I just had the morning crew I would have done 10/10Benjamin H.

You can do a lot to improve I won't use U-Haul again. First problem I was allowed to rent the truck at a location for pick up at 6 AM and when I arrived at the location And follow the instructions to pick up the key they didn't work. Spent 20 to 30 minutes waiting for someone to talk to at your one 800 number just to find out that location doesn't allow pick up till nine. In the middle of that call I was disconnected. I did receive a call back from U-Haul about 10 minutes later and which I learned that at 9 o'clock I could pick up the truck so I lost three hours on are they pushing everything out later in the evening. The seals around the windows of the truck were so bad that it sounded like a wind storm was going on for the entire 3 1/2 hours of the trip each way. Very unpleasant. Terrible experience can't believe what it cost me to have it.JEANNIE H.

The pick up location was just fine, but costumer service from uhaul themselves was absolutely worthless i sat on hold for over 2 hours trying to figure out an issue I had for them to not even be able to help in the end anyways.THOMAS S.

Everyone I worked with was great. However it was extra frustrating. I reserved the truck online, prepaid in full, and wrhn I arrived did online check in. I was inspecting the vehicle when the employees came and took the key, as they had someone else reserved for that truck in their system. In the end they were able to give me another truck but I was extremely lucky as they initially said all their equipment was reserved for that day. So..... You all need to get the online reservations more in sync to prevent this from happening. If we weren't able to get a truck we would have been in a lot of trouble.Ariel H.

I would not recommend UHaul to anyone after the trouble. The online pickup was a disaster! Thankfully, I was able to contact Customer Service (after a long delay) and the gentleman stayed with me on the phone through all of my struggles. He shared with me that online pickup of vehicles is difficult and I encouraged him to share my frustrations with management. I appreciated his help through all of my tears and anger.Elizabeth B.

I had my rental changed at the last minute, which was very frustrating - I was supposed to receive a confirmation at 6pm two days before my rental, instead at 7:30pm one day before my rental, I received notice that the truck I had requested was not available, and a smaller truck would instead be available at a location much further away. This was frustrating, time consuming, and was really poor customer service.AARON JAMES B.

I did not get furniture pads as requested. I was still charged for them, but I didn't want to hold up payment for that and if I clicked the 'don't agree with charges' it wouldn't let me pay. Dollly was not secured in the truck, Which scared the stuffing out of me the first time it rolled and banged into the wall.Jeffrey H.

Very hard to navigate this lot, there was no parking other than taking up gas station lanes. Super small and cramped gas station. They made us fold all of the blankets and sweep out the truck or else they'd charge us for the time. That's fine-we jumped in and did that. Took us just a couple of minutes, so in the end, just seems like of poor service, could they really not take that 3 extra minutes to do this for us? Whatever. Then they tried charging us for extra days, and the guy seemed almost gleeful that we were two days late according to the system. Luckily I had proof that showed it was in fact on time according to the communication I received. He did honor that in the end. But overall, I would never go back to this place or recommend to anyone.CHRISTOPHER P.

I have been trying to rent another trailer from this location and I haven't been able to get ahold of anybody for the last 2 days, all I get is a recording saying they are busy, so I had to go to the auburn (15 miles difference) location to get one!Toby G.

Not happy with Uhaul. I reserved a 5 Ã- 9 trailer with the drop down ramp about 3 weeks before I needed it. When I got there to pick up the trailer I ordered it was not available & I had to choose between a smaller one with no ramp, only a tail gate or a much larger one which was too big for my purposes. I was transporting my riding lawn mower & really needed the ramp. Due to time constraints I chose the smaller trailer & we had to load my lawn mower using 2 x 6 boards. Not safe at all.Donna G.

Your 5x9 open trailer will not take a 5' wide box. Mislabeled. Not good. The crew there are great. Your 2" ball does not fit the receiver. Made so much noise. Well it was really bad!Mike J.

I was not aware that the pickup truck parking area would be locked down after store hours. I parked my car there and when I returned , I found it locked. Had to make a trip back home ans return the next day morning, adding miles to my rental for which I had to pay unnecessarily. The rep was understanding of the situation and did give me a small discount but was not worth the hasslePrateek A.

Even with the phone check in, it still took an extra 7-10 minutes to get someone to help me at the front desk. Once I was helped, I was told very vague instructions on how to get to their lot (since they don't keep their trucks on site). I drove an extra 1-2 miles before discovering that the first employees directions weren't correct and I had to call back. Once I got to the lot it was pretty straight forward use until I had to return it. The app said that I had to return it to that Cheveron otherwise I would incur additional fees. Since their lot is small, I left it at one of the front stalls for them to review prior to returning it back to the lot. Once I put the keys in the return bin, an extremely rude female employee comes out saying "you can't park here. Did you put your keys in there? Why you do that, you can't park here". Her customer service was absolutely terrible. Her tone, her accusations, and she didn't have her mask over her mouth when she was saying these things. She then stomped away to get her boss. Once the boss came out he was way more helpful than the rude employee. He did make me put gas into the car even though it was still full (it ended up costing me 1.67 so I felt like that part of the interaction was pointless). Overall I wouldn't recommend this location for multiple reasons.Onaleisha P.

I booked a 15' truck and 2 furniture dolleys from the iron horse location. On line that showed as the only location where a 15' truck was available. I got a call saying it wasn't available, but that the location in Maple valley at the Chevron could take care of us. I called a few days prior to our pickup and talked to someone (I believe their name was Dean) to confirm the truck was available as well as the furniture dolleys. I was told they would be available for us. The night before my scheduled rental I got a call saying the 15' wasn't available anymore but that a 20' had been set aside for us. We showed up to pick up the rental but the dolleys were not there. We were moving a piano, if I knew I wouldn't have the Dolleys I would have scheduled for a time in which they were available. I was refunded the $14. But the added strain that it put on our family who had all shown up to help us move the Piano and other furniture was awful. This experience was a mess. I will not rent from here again.Justin F.
