Ryan was professional and helpful. My only snag was that your system was down and Ryan could not release our reserved vehicle at the promised time. We had to drive back home and wait for Ryan to call us back when the system was back up, even though we had reserved it and the vehicle was sitting on the lot, ready to go. No complaints with the employee, but wish that your system was not operating when we needed it.

I was charged for two days. I went 40 minutes early because website said to have truck checked before hand. Lest lot about 11:40 & returned close to the same time next day. Paperwork showed when i left but showed agreed return time when, i believe, was truly less than 24 hrs. In the future i will work within The exact terms of our agreement to avoid any misunderstandings. Best

There's not much room for improvement at this branch. However, you might want to have your website direct customers to the closest U-Haul location to them when they ask. When I went to U-Haul's website initially, it directed me to a branch 15 miles away that cost me an extra day's rent because I couldn't get back from a trip in time to get there before they closed. The extra distance was just rude.

This U-Haul operation has a bit of everything so one can find what he needs here. Congenial people working the reception area. The location is hard to find. It’s also spread over what seems to be 20 acres and is congested up front. Hard to find a parking place on arrival. This type of industrial park isn’t well suited for a big U-Haul operation. You have adjusted as well as possible but it’s still a bit of a mess.

Reservation was made online to pick up the vehicle in Santa Paula- - 2 days after reservation, we were notified that it would not be available there and that we would have to pick it up in Thousand Oaks (took time of 2 people and gas money). - They did allow us to pick up the truck on Friday rather than the Saturday reservation at no additional charge, but that too had it's own logistical challenges - We returned the truck a day early at the destination location, but did not receive any credit back - We returned the truck at the destination location with more fuel than we picked it up with and did not receive any credit back.

There was only one employee working and he stated that there were usually two. It was a busy Saturday morning and prior to when we arrived the server had gone down so we had a bit of a wait. He did process customers thru pretty quickly.

1. My reservation was made online for 8:00 am on 2/18/2024. The office was not opened until 8:12 am. 2. I had ordered a utility dolly. It was not available. I was provided with an appliance dolly at no charge. 3. The gas tank was EMPTY. A Warning Message stated "0 MILES LEFT UNTIL TANK IS EMPTY". I was told the tank was half full and to return in that way. 4. Water had leaked into the attic space. 5. I was NOT credited for the 42 miles of gasoline that I was remaining in the tank, and was charged for 100 miles as stated on my reservation instead of the actual distance of 96 miles. 6. I will not be using this location again.

Operator on phone Los quoted me cost of mileage. When I arrived to get truck they simply gave me keys, did not confirm or go over any details. Price per mile was three times what I was told…point is the bill was way more than I had calculated based on my phone call with U-Haul. The in store person did not go over details…then when I called location after to question he basically told me it was my fault, offered no help, then finally gave me a # to call

This location was great but the vacuum store I orignally picked was a train wreck. No one knew what was going on - my truck was double booked so I had to go to anotehr location - cost me 2 hours of time - total shit show!

Make sure there is gasoline in the rental before you rent it. I ran out of gas before I could get to a gas station causing me added mover cost and time. They asked me to put $25 in gas in the truck and I would be reimbursed, but of course I wasn’t.

The Lawrence Ave location is dirty, disorganized and dark. All of their lights were off. The TV gave me no paperwork, asked for no signatures, and hooked up the trailer SO low, it dragged and bottomed out our entry trip. Who approved this office location? It’s a disgrace compared to the LA Ave, Simi location that I requested. It was embarrassing to have such a poorly attached trailer.

Our unit was infested with rat poop and they refused to call the other unties to notify them or us that there was an issue and failed to rectify the situation or compensate us for damages They keep their storage units so dark and don’t have any pest control. They need to be held accountable for the damages done to my belongings. The person we spoke to was very rude and condescending and has still failed to get us the information needed to submit a proper claim.
