Make sure that the correct reading for gas gauge before renting is accurate said we had 3/4 of a tank at pickup and we only went 40 miles from the time that we went to the time we dropped off and clearly it was almost on E right before I went to return it so I put in $20 and it filled it up to the 1/4 mark and did not waste a lot of gas just to go and drop it off from where we started so the gas gauge clearly was read wrong

Have at least one more staff member handling check-ins. When there is only one guy, he has to both check people in AND help them get equipment, which is a huge time suck (and I'm sure sucks for him).

Customer service agent stated U-Haul price matches Penske. After cancelling my Penske rental and arriving at U-Haul, customer service agent could not match my Penske quote. Very frustrating. Staff at location was minimal, so wait times were long. Our first attempt at reserving a U-Haul truck was at the Division street store in Spokane, WA. We called multiple times asking for a quote, and every time they sent us the quote via email, it was an incorrect amount. After asking about it, they would say "there is a note on the account, we can see the correct price." We would call back the following day to make sure the price is correct and they either do not have our reservation, or cannot find the quoted price. I was lied to multiple times by staff and management. I would not recommend uhaul to a friend.

Whoever is in charge of the scheduling for this region is Spokane region. Needs to be retrain on not excavating situations are making threats. every other employee I dealt with from start to finish was awesome except for that one.

The experience we had was a little rough. The u-haul system shut down nationwide, which I understand. Things happen! the staff was very honest which we appreciated. It’s surprising they let us know the system shuts down once a month, we felt genuinely bad for the staff because of the angry customers and how often they have to deal with this situation. It was a long line, rainy and snowing so it was a bit uncomfortable standing in line at the location for how small the place was. The staff tried and find a solution for us to pull out cash to still rent out the u-haul we a temporary fix but once a few of us did, they said that they could no longer accept cash and to come back by the mid afternoon (when the system usually comes back up). Staff was very friendly and I think a better solution should be in place when the system shuts down. It causes a little panic and we are very laid back so we understand things happen, but we were also moving out of state and wish it was an easier process. Now knowing this happens quite frequently (from the Spokane staff and help line we called to try and find another solution) we may stick with another company next time we move.

It's like walking into a ghost town; been in this location 4 times, and there is never anyone home. On the upside, they now have a walkie take to summon someone.

Took far too long to get checked in and out..short staffed possibly. I reserved a trailer and still was there for 45 minutes..then there was no one to be found when I wanted to return it. Having to go in and out to pay after hook up is annoying..seems there should be a smoother process.

I don’t understand why there are only 2 drop off locations basically almost out of town in Spokane when there are several places you can rent UHAUL’s in town?

This facility appeared brand new and was really impressive. I was greeted right at the door and everyone there had a really friendly confidence. Signs guiding to the parking zone for dropoffs could be a little more obvious though.

The only complaint I have is the vehicles need to be full when you have them ready to rent. the vehicle was at 1/8 a tank of fuel so I had to take time to fill it up before I could begin to load the vehicle. Sometimes people are on a time restraint and don't have time to fill the vehicle before loading it and then have to fill it back to drop it off.

I am concerned that I did not have documentation of the condition of the trailer when I received it. I did not have pictures or a damage inventory sheet to prove that the damage on the trailer was not damage I caused. I had paid for the insurance but I should have had the documentation.

The crew at my pickup location was not profesional at all. They were non-chalant. Bickered back and forth about not knowing where the keys where at or where the truck was parked. Gave me the oldest, noisiest, roughest riding, poorest handling hunk of junk I've ever driven (I've rented uhaul trucks many times to know the difference) because it was a one way rental and they wanted to get it off their lot. They said in contract that gas was fuller than it actually was. I was frustrated enough to just get the hell out of there and record a video to document to contest fuel charge later because I had a tight schedule to keep with limited amount of time. I'd use a different location everytime.

Difficulty with weight/tow limits of vehicle caused stop by police halfway through trip requiring a change in tow vehicle. Hours wasted, should have had proper trailer for the tow vehicle safety from the outset.

Originally, I called Mid-town Spokane U-Haul and got call center. Agent told me there were 2 new and 2 for-rent furniture dollies at that location. So, I drove there only to find out they had no dollies at all. The person at desk explained that they don't answer the phone after 2 pm, so calls roll over to the call center. The agent provided incorrect information. Frustrated, I called the Sunset Blvd location. They were very helpful and knew what equipment that had on site. Great experience, but high customer effort.

The staff was not very helpful, and not polite. They knew the car reader wasn't working, yet kept allowing us to run our card over and over again before entering it manually (it was a ridiculous charade). The man's attitude changed after a while but at first it really rubbed us the wrong way.

They weren’t going to take our One Way rental truck back at that location because they were full and told us that we had to take it to a different location but I asked if they could find someone else to take it he said sorry but there wasn’t anyone else that could. But then another higher up employee came and said they were to check us in since our paperwork said that was the drop off place!

As a business we rent from this location. However the last 2 times, even though my confirmation says pick up at Sunset Hill location, I have been told I should pick it up on 3rd Avenue. Why would that be? Confirmation tells me the correct location and U Hauls computer says another. The manager at the Sunset location is always helpful but on occasions could do with another employee to help.

Get new workers that actually help people and not just say yeah bring it in it won't charge you with a late fee. I asked for 4 to 5 hrs and I had it for 2 and got charged extra money

Cell service is not as strong. Took a little to load up the web page, even error out couple times. My service was Verizon Wireless. But not sure you can do anything about it though.

Our agent who helped was very friendly. I felt bad since he was a one man show having to do everything!!! The other guy who left came out and announced to everyone waiting that he just threw up everywhere and had to go home.

When faulty equipment is rented and customer service states the renter will be compensated follow through on those statements rather than back out after it’s all said and done
