I was ripped off $50.00 for gas, when I left I had the gauge between 1/2 and a 1/4 the kid told me that and he was right. When I got back I said the gauge didn’t move a lady said oh yes it did from a half to a quarter and the paper was marked at a half so I looked at the kid and asked him what he told me....he didn’t say a word the lady said there isn’t anything she can do, I said check the mileage I made one trip maybe 15 miles. So what happen the kid told me where the gas gauge was and was right but on the paper marked it at a half, my fault for not checking thought I could trust these people, so when I got back the paper work showed I used a quarter of a tank to go 15 miles, had the truck around 2 hours. So my advice is check everything take a picture of gas guage.The kid new I was right he looked at me didn’t say a word but I could tell by the look on his face, unable to talk do to lady talking so he couldn’t say anything. Pretty good rip off U-Haul

I had a reservation at another Uhaul store a couple of miles away and they were able to move the pickup to their store in no time at all. I was able to get in and out quickly. On the return of the truck it was snowing. There was a place to return rental equipment to a covered area. The woman checking me in was quick and efficient. Overall a great experience at a difficult time, moving in the snow.

Driver was awesome! I gave the location an average rating because it took almost an hour on hold to get my boxes scheduled for delivery...and then they called back a few days later and tried to move my delivery back by 2 days.

When I rented the containers, I was misinformed in that the containers could be moved anywhere. Well, it came to be that the containers were only taken to Spokane storage. To be hauled to the Tri-cities I was given an estimate of over $1000.00. That amount does not include moving helpers in either city.. In the future, I will not use U-Haul and will discourage anyone from hiring the company also. All in all, this quote and scheduling cost me over two thousand dollars that I should not have had to pay.

Online check out and check in was great and super easy. The location was still open after I checked the van back in online, so instead of dropping the key in the drop box, I took it inside.The employee was not friendly at all and seemed like I was irritating her that I was even there, but outside that, great experience.

The truck I rented had a bad vibration at 65mph and above, I had to maintain a 60mph speed. Also there was excessive wind noise coming from the driver’s side door. I would not be able to drive this truck any distance. The inside was clean.

I have one issue with my rental. When I left the facility both the fuel gauge and rental form indicated I had a full tank of gas. Before I returned the vehicle I filled up the tank and it took 4.7 gal or $14.00 for a total of 37 miles traveled. The vehicle dash has a sticker which indicates that the vehicle gets 17.99 mpg. If the tank was truly full when I picked up the vehicle I would have used approximately 2 gal for the mpg rating. Because the tank was not actually full ( and I had not been told otherwise), I put in an extra 2.7 gal or $8 worth of fuel. That is very sad and is avoidable by a more accurate reporting and notation.

Uhaul failed to communicate when our pod had arrived. Then when we found out it was here no one could locate it and we ended up on hold between 2 stores and corporate for well over an hour trying to locate our belongings.

U-joints were bad on the truck which made steering and handling the truck on the freeway a bit of a nail biter. Truck cab wreaked of cigarette smoke and I when I did the math on mileage vs. fuel I put in at the end of my rental, the truck only got 2.8 miles per gallon?....The truck was not full on fuel when I picked it up.

Why in this day and age don't you have back up cameras on all your vehicles. This would be priceless when trying to back a large truck up and lining up the ramp. Other than that I am thankful I stepped down to 20" truck as that was all I could have backed in and stayed out of the street. Having this was a blessing!

The person helped us attach our trailer for the car tow but he was extremely rude and I told him about the scrape by the headlight and reported it on my app photo process and then 10 minutes later the whole headlamp was popped out and I feel like he was trying to set me up for a claim for that against me

During my pods transit, my pod was damaged, the repair: bolting the door to the wall it was originally latched to. Resulted in furniture and an instrument of mine to be damaged. My box was 4 days late from the originally promised arrival date due to this and Uhaul could only tell me there was a transit issue. Being unformed on where my belongings were especially after them being late was infuriating. At the same time every attempt of mine to reach out to Uhaul was met with endless automated numeral menus that led to countless wrong departments and unpleasant call center representatives. On one occasion when asking for help on who to contact on my unpleasant experience and damaged items was given the wrong telephone # and another was "transferred" to Rep West which resulted in being transferred into another Uhaul call center/menu.

I'm an Air Force veteran; I have moved countless times and used several other companies; you are by far the worst. I was treated with disrespect and apathy at best, and I will do my best to warn others to use ANY other company but yours. If I could give a negative star rating I would!

BEST U-Haul experience ever. Facility was easy to find. The drop off location was covered (a real nice feature during bad weather), the employee met us at our truck ( we didn't have to go into the store), they quickly found our U-Haul contract and unhooked their equipment. We were on the road in less than 5 minutes. Great Store!!

I returned my ubox on time to a uhaul employee and asked if I had to do anything else to make sure I was all good and he said no I was good to go. A month laster I was charged storage fees because he never checked me out and it took 2 weeks of back and forth with uhaul customer service getting in contact with this location to get my refund for this mistake made by uhaul. Very unsatisfied with the customer service

This location is not close to me, nor was it an route to my destination to pick up my items. Matter of fact it was 15 miles out of my way to my loading point. When scheduling a for a reservation all locations didn't seem to have the equipment (a 15 or 17 ft truck) I needed. But after I picked up this truck i drove by the Uhaul closer to me and noticed they had 8 in their lot. After I dropped my rental off at the original location, the U-haul on my way still had 8 trucks that would have fit my needs. It appears that the online reservations guide customers to a lesser busy location, even if it is out of their way. If I cannot have the equiment I need at the location close to me or on the way to my destination then I will use some one else, like Penske.

Showed up at 5:03pm (for a 5pm return time) while the workers were just closing down. I had stopped to sweep out and clean the unit. Was told I would probably be charged a late fee as they didn’t want to close me out 3 minutes past closing. I was charged and there was no explanation as to why the workers wouldn’t have taken the time while they were still there to simply click “returned”. I understand I was 3 minutes late, but the lack of customer service to try and help was what really bothered me.

The general manager was really unfriendly and didnt listen to the customers needs. Was not a good experience at all.

I had zero information the day I was supposed to start loading my U-Box container. When I called the 1-800 # I got transferred 3 times because she each person couldn’t answer my questions. I was told I should’ve received a call from the location, but that never happened. When I arrived at the location the only helpful person was the guy working outside on the forklift moving the U-Box containers. He is the only reason I was able to give a positive review above. When my U-Box was delivered to the new location the same thing happened. I was supposed to get a call, which never happened, and then when I arrived to unload my U-Box container it was not set out and ready for me when I arrived when I even “scheduled” what time I would be there to unload it. At the new location the general manager was very helpful and awesome to work with! She would be the only reason I give that location a decent review as well. Only a total of 2 U-Haul employees made this experience worthwhile and pleasant (& I talked to at least 10 different employees during this entire experience).

My commercial stand mxer arrived with a broken collar, it needs to be replaced. My arrival was supposed to be around 1:00 pm, didn't show until 6:30, the unloading company, credit to them. Called and said that uhaul wasn't allowing them until 4:30. Hopefully the $25 insurance will cover the $400 cost of a stand mixer

Location didn’t have the truck I reserved so they gave me a larger truck. This truck smelled like smoke when I got in and after it was all loaded we noticed that the back driver side tire was so bald it wasn’t even street legal and there was no spare. Is this normal? The staff at the store was helpful and friendly but seemed a little lost regarding my rental.
