In the years I have rented U-Haul trucks I would have to say this was the best handling truck I have ever driven. I had a 26 foot truck and it drove like a dream. The employees were timely, helpful, and professional.

I wish that my entire life wasn't taken away from me like it was I needed help just with the payments I just couldn't make the entire payment due to me having covid and missing work then losing my apt and car sadly right after I had covid so did my 2 children then everybody around us so I was constantly out quarantini that was everything I had left of my life now its also gone I couldn't be more sad and disappointed nothing truly is worth working for and giving your all because of an illness that is world wide still able to make it impossible for people to understand and work with you.

The Denver store was able to communicate quickly and delivered/picked up Ubox on time. There was no communication from the Spokane store until the scheduled day of delivery. The box sat in the Spokane store for close to a month which forced an additional monthly rental fee. The box did not arrive on the new scheduled date and took repeated calls to get the box moved to Moscow. I again had to call to confirm that the box had in fact been moved. Other than the communication, the box arrived intact and in great shape.

I had ordered and believe paid for a tv box 2 locks, and a dolly but received none of that in the boxes, because of weather the actually order was processed and released and they claim there was no way to look up that order so I have to produce a receipt to get my money back, being unable to locate that, I am rather disturbed that they were unable to find that order to issue me a refund for what I did not receive.

For some reason I had to drop the u haul off in a different state than where I live and was quoted to with no explanation. The only incentive being "i wouldn't have to pay for the extra miles". Oh wow thanks guys! Maybe you could told me a whole God damned state wasn't accepting trucks BEFORE I gave you 1600 dollars and was halfway through the drive. Not pay for the extra miles?? You should be paying me for my time and my friend who had to give me a ride to spokane in a damned blizzard to a different state. Wmplenty of other rental companies out there

The drop off location was fine. Quick and easy. I am just disgusted that they canceled my scheduled drop-off point and forced me to return it to another State which cost me an extra 3 hours of my time ($50hr) and an extra $40 in fuel. I don't even know that it was legal as my contract shows my drop-off point in Osburn, Idaho.

All of the back tires on the uhaul truck were bald. The truck would not make it up our driveway that had a small amount of snow on it. we ended up having to purchase $200 chains and lost half of our moving day and half of our helpers due to this, then because of the lost time we were charged for an extra day with no care or offers of some sort of reimbursement. If you rent a truck out in the inland NW, it should be ready for the weather. I felt that the trucks tires were very dangerous due to the lack of tread. Could have blown a tire on the hwy

Worst experience ever. I have never left a negative review before for any company online. Worst customer service experience ever! We took uhaul back a 26 foot truck to my chosen location in Couer d'alene Idaho. They told us no way would they take the truck back they were full. I showed all my reservation confirmations (email, text and screen shots of my online booking) showing I rented the truck with this drop of location selected. He stated that no I had "agreed" to return it to another state over 300 miles away for a discount. I said who did I agree with this too? I booked online never speaking to anyone. He basically told me that I was lying. He than called the manager and asked me to explain to her what was going on. She was at lunch but started the conversation off with ma'am you agreed to drive it to another state to save money, you can't get out of that now. She would not listen whatsoever when I tried explaining that I promise I never did that as money was of no concern as my husband's company pays for the relocation. I said what am I going to do, I can't drive that far away. She stated well I am at lunch with the top district manager right now and I am telling you that you will. I did not know what to say after that so we left with the 26 ft uhaul and I called the 1 800 number to try to beg and plead for help. I was told by that employee that I should have read the fine print at the bottom of the contract as it states that drop off locations may be changed at any time by uhaul and it is up to me to call and confirm a drop off location on day of the return. I asked so you guys can just boom say I have to drive out over 300 miles away to return it? Shouldn't you warn a customer? Why did it give me a choice to select this destination and confirm it if it was not available? She was able to kindly get us a closer drop off over a hour away in another state but closer that the one the other manager insisted I had chosen even with my printed contract showing otherwise. I will never rent with uhaul ever again and that is truly your loss as we move 3 families every few years due to contact work. (My father dropped his 26" truck off at the same location earlier in the day with no issue and I am the one who did his online rental as well!!!) Between us we spent $9,000 in the last 3 weeks with your company moving across country. In two years when we move we will try Penske or ANY other moving company. Never again uhaul, never again.

I had rented 12 furniture pads which Missoula provided. The load ended up being all boxes so the pads remained unopened and clean. When I dropped off the trailer in Spokane I mentioned the pads were unused and in their unopened condition. Inside I asked since they were unused and unopened if I could get a credit. I was told “No it would be a hassle and it like taking the trailer for the rental period and saying I didn't use it”. I was insulted at the accusation I was trying to cheat him and reminded him they were still in their unopened bags, not used V like the trailer was. I was going to buy supplies from them but decided not to or to never use this location again. No masks (despite a sign on the door) and rude employees. Never again. I have used Uhaul for many years.

The truck was mosty clean and in good repair (inside of windshield was dirty and could not see thru the sun glare until I cleaned it. The right front wheel was out of balance or other defect. This front wheel vibrated, starting at about 40 mph, so I did not notice this issue until the truck was loaded and on the highway to my destination). The vibration increased as the speed increased, and it pulled HARD to the right as weel. The driving experience was fatiguing and very unpleasant..

I was told my license was not valid. I have rented from uhaul several times in the last couple of years with no issues ever. We used my Son's license then had to provide several local contacts names and numbers. Never have I done this with uhaul ever, even in Alaska. I do realize it was the system asking this but still an inconvenience. When checking the trailer out I didn't feel well and the person at the counter stopped a few times to take a bite of his lunch, the smell any other time would have been great. Not the best customer service experience. The return was great

When my wife returned the truck it had a couple pieces of cardboard that needed to be thrown away and the gas tank needed to be at 3/4 tank and it was a little under. The person that helped return the truck was so rude and un professional he almost made her cry. She walked home (which was only 2 blocks) and the uhaul employee made her carry the cardboard away because he would not let her throw it away there? Than told her he was going to charge her for a full tank of gas and cleaning fee for the cardboard. We do not care about the money portion for the cleaning and gas as it is expected. But don't be rude and un professional because u have to do your job? Better customer service and or training for your employees to not run your customers off crying.

The truck rental was an easy process. Great price. I highly recommend using u-haul to hire a couple movers to help load and unload the truck. The movers were a great help with moving the heavy stuff, on-time and super affordable.

Two things - first, improve internal communication within Uhaul. My Ubox was essentially lost for over two weeks and the local office in Charlotte could not get a response from corporate. Horrible. Secondly - figure your 800# customer service line out. Hold times were 20 mins plus and most of the time the rep was not able to help. No fault of theirs, just the system and process flow. Low quality.

One small problem with getting the loaded box picked up on Coeur d'Alene. They called on Sunday to confirm the pickup for Monday, but then it didn't get put on the schedule. Box was not picked up on Monday and had to wait until Tuesday for pickup. This delayed departing ID by a day.

I never did figure out how to turn the radio on. It was not intuitively obvious. 7 hours driving by myself would have been better with the radio. Might be a good customer service to leave the radio on a local station and turned on at a low volume. Even us old folks can figure out how to turn it down or change stations if it is already on

Overall good experience. Have had a lot of interaction with Uhaul the last 4 months and the main problem I experienced was in communication. A lot of time waiting on hold for a operator. Most of them were great, especially Isaiah. Would be great to have direct lines to local offices. This could stop problems like those I had with the Wichita Falls location.

The Uhaul truck needed front end work. The carrier bearing was also worn out and it vibrated extremely bad the entire trip from Idaho to Texas. It was horrible. The back tires were worn out and we had to call and get them replaced in Billings Montana because they were unsafe to drive on. I ended up staying awake until 3 am to get them replaced at the hotel parking lot. I was so glad to get to Texas and turn that Uhaul back in. The first day of driving it vibrated so bad my eyes started watering and I could barely see. It was such a horrible experience.

It was too many furniture pads. And while our stuff arrived in the time guaranteed, it really seemed a ridiculously long wait. The boxes left my Spokane house on 9/26, and did not arrive at my AZ house until 10/17. That's a really long time to go without any furniture, and only a little camping equipment. My back is killing me from the inflatable mattress. And further, I was told our boxes would be delivered between noon and 2pm on the 17th. But it was well after 3pm. I had to take the day off special To be able to help unload. Lost almost an entire day because of the very late arrival. Came away with injuries from having to rush to empty the boxes, and lost more work just to recover from it. Overall, I'm not that happy. Our stuff arrived intact because I'm awesome at packing and loading. I would not recommend this option for moving to anyone.

Communication on the Spokane Washington end and corporately was very difficult. No one in Spokane ever picked up the phone, so EVERY call cost me 20-40 minutes on hold. And there was a lot of confusion about shipping both of my crates.

I have used Uhaul so many times in my life, this is the WORST experience I have ever had. 1st the attendant at time of pickup was a bit rude. Normally the truck is brought up and a damage walk around is done. I had to go to the back lot to get the truck myself, and charges were not explained. He did not verify the gas or mileage. Threw the dolly in and just walked away. I have used the location on 14000 block of East Sprague and they always go above and beyond customer service. 2nd the in town price is $19.95 and advertised on the truck but it cost me $165 ??? I did go over 25 miles on mileage, had dropped off with more gas in then what I started with. There is definitely false advertising, and is sad to see Uhaul resorting to this, it's really a shame. Now Covid can not be used as an excuse as I moved with Uhaul from Oregon to Spokane Washington in April 2020 renting twice for two in town moves and was not charged as much as this experience. Will I use Uhaul again “yes” but I will go an extra two miles to get excellent customer service and will never use this location again.

This experience was pretty good. We didn't have a lot of stuff, so the U-Box concept was ideal. I believe the fiberglass container was superior to the plywood container, so that was another plus.

Very good service in Vancouver. WA and Portland, OR. One person at desk with people waiting and a slight lack of good explanation reslting in me walking around that huge b uilding in the heat for nothing. We will say the attendant was prompt in checking us out and did give me a break at checkout which was appreciated. Management needs more people assigned to desk.

When I made a reservation for my storage I was never told anything very bad communication and it made my day bad!’I tried calling the number 509 922 4465 that’s what they told me to call if anymore questions!! Well I tried calling 3 times and each time was on hold for over a hour so I never got to ask my questions!! So I wanted to know if a king size mattress would fit in a 10ft truck and the cost and few other things!!I ended up getting a 15ft truck and had to drive all the way to the valley!! So this put me way behind in my schedule cause I had people helping move and then it made them mad!!

Do to the California and west coast refugees fleeing the socialist states it's put a strain on all moving companies vehicle and trailers availability but it's very sad that all these companies doubledate or more their rental rates to gouge the American people so much and profit at a super stressful time in our lives not sure about everyone else but I'll remember it..

There was a smell in the lower level where my storage unit was. Smell was like a dead rat or something dead.

This experience was a good one. We were satisfied with the convenience and cleanliness. The carts are incredibly helpful. We're grateful for the online check-in process because it was very time efficient. That's VERY important during a move.
