I purchased a lock from uhaul when I rented my storage they kept locking my unit telling me the lock they sold me was not acceptable. I complained about never being able to access my unit because of faulty key cards and locks on my unit and was met with attitude and poor customer service. They told me they wouldnt lose business ot having me because they are always full anyway terrible employees the only good employee there was having his 1st day at work that says alot. The young man at the desk lied to me and said all of the trucks were reserved. A female manager came out and rented me a truck. She was helpful, the young man with a hat was not. He also lied and said no manager was on premises when I asked to see a manager.Robert B.
Incredibly rude employees. There was one African American genetleman who was great. The 3 other employees I interacted with were incredibly rude and condescending. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I had to drive back to get the furniture dollys because they weren't in my truck. Rude employee outwardly blamed me for not telling him I reserved them. I ordered the dollys in the same reservation as my truck so I expected they would automatically be in the truck I reserved. He didn't apologize he didn't explain the process to me just gave me attitude about how I should have told him. Because of this extra trip I had to make to drive back to uhaul I was 10 minutes late returning my truck. I tried calling to explain why id be a few minutes late no one answered and I sat on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up because I had returned the truck in the time I attempted to call and explain id be a few minutes late.Kristin M.

It would help if you gave me the correct pickup and return location. Also, PLEASE answer the PHONE! I was on hold for over 22 minutes and then it disconnected. I was forced to drive to a location to find out where exactly my van would be. Also, quit sending multiple texts and emails for â€œcheck inâ€ and uploading of DL, since it didn't seem to matter how many times I did so; the pick up location was not even set up for Uhaul! Wash the windows before you re-rent a vehicle! On the plus side-Marlin (sp) at the N Pacific Hwy Medford location was quite nice and made it better for me. They gave me the truck with a hair over a quarter tank and they had it down as 5/16. When I returned it with a little over the amount was given they still charged me a fuel fee.EZRA S.

Guys were very helpful, didn't waste anytime, the trailer I needed at 7 am so I could move a vehicle and be to work on time at 9 am. Everything worked out smoothly, equipment pulled well with my 2010 Suburban 1500. There was a line, the system seemed to be difficult for employees to get around in (employees seemed visibly frustrated with the responsiveness of the system). While there was no problem with my transaction, I witnessed two other transactions result in frustrated customers. These were people expecting to find a reserved truck and (it turns out) the truck was not reserved properly. This leaves people like me who are waiting in line with a less-than-confident impression, feeling like the front-line employees and customers are victimized by some kind of back-office incompetence. Moving is stressful. Making it stress-free for customers should be the goal.John G.
Ive rented from uhaul in the past and have never had a bad experience. It wasn't necessarily the employees fault but honestly I would never go back to a facility where you had to wait for an hour every time to open your storage unit. Apparently the it guy was on leave and the company wouldn't let them hire someone else, so my code to access my storage unit never got programmed into the system. I wasted so many hours of my life trying to get into that stupid storage unit because there was never more than one person. at the front desk and most of them didn't understand why I couldn't just use my code and I got forgotten about so many times. The fuel indicator was incorrect on the contract when compared to the real time fuel monitor in the vehicle. The management had me park the truck on a slanted ramp and take a picture of the fuel indicator. The indicator was still off by about 1/4 of a tank in Uhauls favor. I did say something to the manager about the ramp throwing the measuring off. He told me "it doesn't do that in this truck". It takes to much effort to try to argue with people, so I took my loss and moved on. By initially going back inside and having management redo the contract I saved about 50.00 on the fuel that they said was in the truck that was not really in the tank. Other than that the truck was not wiped down nor had it been vacuumed but it did smell like it had been sprayed with something. Upon the return it looked like the owner was on-site. The return experience was smooth. There is a female employee there that seems efficient and thorough. She guided me on the lot. Overall I would most likely avoid this shop if I knew I was dealing with this manager because he didn't know that I'm an experienced trucker and he treated me like the little old lady that I look like. Improve the online experience. The website was having trouble confirming my location, even though permissions were correct. The online agent took 15 minutes to confirm my rental. Also, the key wasn't placed in a lockbox, so I had to go inside, defeating the entire purpose of a mobile pickup. The only reason I rented this truck is that my guaranteed trailer that I â€œrentedâ€ online 5 days earlier wasn't at the location when I arrived to pick it up. No one could tell me why it wasn't there or if it would be. Waited for 2 hours to get things straightened out and eventually got the truck just to get the job done. During my visit the computer system was mostly down and the staff couldn't process anything or get information about my guaranteed rental. The manager did discount the rental but I still had to pay way more than originally quoted and reschedule help to get the job done. I wouldn't recommend ANY uhaul location if this is the way that the company is run. There is no excuse for not knowing what your inventory is or not having guaranteed rentals there when customers show up to pick them up, very unprofessional way to run a business.DOUGLAS WAYNE R.
I rent two vehicles per week from this location. Understaffed, vehicles don't seem to be sanitized. I could be wrong, but it appears controls ie: stereo and dash have not been wiped down. The employee that received me at the register was very rude and eager to be hostile. Impatiently demanding answers to personal information questions in an inappropriately accusatory tone. I am a longtime customer having spent thousands of dollars on rentals and the purchase and installation of a Uhaul trailer hitch. The only reason I tolerated being treated so poorly and did not walk out is the simple fact that it was one of the last trailers available in the entire state of Oregon. I would never set foot in that establishment ever again. And I am highly motivated to spend lots of time convincing others to do the same.John L.

We did online check in and out. The guy at the return ..before I had completed the online check.. tried to charge us Over 40$ above the charge that eventually came up on my phone app. He made us go inside and get a paper receipt before he would take the keys. I ask..what is the purpose of online check in and out, if your store employees won't abide by it?? Or even worse...they try to scam your price and not let you use the online process. I had a horrible experience, the staff member was not pleasent, the staff member did not explain anything to me. I wanted to pay cash afterward my card had a pending transaction. It was charged after I said I wanted to pay cash. The staff memebers did not communicate with each other. The overall condition of the truck was poor. And I dont like the fact that a dolly and blankets are in the truck taking up valuable space even if you dont reserve them for use. Which I didn't, so they were in the way.Bruce R.

I was put on the "E Alert" list for a late drop off like, 4 years ago. This made me late since I had to call customer service to get cleared. My two year experience with Rogue Valley UHaul was beyond great until the Almeda Fire fallout and the ensuing madness forced us to move out of the area. I found it taxing to deal with all I was dealing with, and then to have UHaul not quickly enough recognize I had extenuating circumstances and aid in ending my contract. The only thing I had an issue with was getting parking in front of storage units, as a disabled veteran I think parking across the parking lot to get a few things out was a hassle/difficult. You should have one or two spots there specific for loading and unloading storage units infront of units. But all your U-Haul are taking all the parking. Parking was impossible. The reservation had to be redone on 3 separate occasions. Twice in one day within a few hours. The first reservation could not be found. It took almost 40 minutes to check in, I was charged first months rent when it was supposed to be free. The associated could not reverse the charges.
