The truck smelled strongly of marijuana throughout. The 15 foot truck stearing was hard to handle on the road. I almost ran off the freeway twice do to the alignment. I liked the pick up location but the truck was disgusting. My couches smelled like weed after we got them moved.JENNIFER H.

The employee was distracted, multitasking & using curse words in front of customers. The trailer I reserved was unuseable & I had to upgrade & an additional cost. Very poor customer service. I made the reservation through the u-haul call center in Eugene who are outstanding. The equipment - a cargo van - was exactly what I needed - easy to drive and held everything. They were busy but open on Sunday morning - and checking out the van was easy. I got back late so they showed me how to do my own check in online - that was easy and interesting too. Highly recommend this business.Sue D.

I think the biggest problem with this location is there's not enough room to handle the customers and all the equipment on the property site - it has very limited parking so there was a feeling of chaos and crowding- The place appears to be short staffed so the service people seemed very stressed and they were long lines of people waiting to be processed through the rental application -pick up and drop off.Clinton R.

They were short with me, and when they didn't have a furniture dolly they said it was no big deal only for me to find out when I got to my drop off that I was going to be charged $150 for a â€œstolenâ€ equipment and it was definitely a big deal that they should have made note of. Would recommend another company as these problems seem to be throughout uhaul.Max P.

When I got to my location, the blankets that I had ordered were not in the truck. I called and was put on hold for 5 minutes. I never did speak to a person. This is the second time that this has happened. Make sure that you look in the back of the truck to see that all items that you ordered were put into the truck before leave.DOUGLAS B.

I was told that I had to wait until the other person turned in their truck before they could fix the error in the computer system. A few days later I got a call stating that I still had the truck even though I had turned it in a day early. You guys made a mess.of this whole thing and I am extremely upset and disappointed.Michael H.

Not enough space, no parking for customers. The only problem was the lights on the trailer didn't work properly, found a cut wire and took it back to the facility and they replaced the wire. No problem.Jerry S.

I arrived at 7am as scheduled and the truck was in a different location than indicated on the photo, and it was blocked in by other trucks. My hired movers were unable to begin loading until nearly three hours later once staff showed up and extracted the truck for us. It cost me lots of money. I do not appreciate this.Ted S.

I have returned equipment here multiple times but this time, the person made me wait for help and there was nobody else waiting. Also they made me feel like I had done something wrong because the idle was high and then dropped too low, according to her. The other person said that was normal. Well first off, I rented at a location close to me. When I got there I wasn't on their list!! Even after the confirmation email and 2 phone calls confirming it. So I had to drive an extra 15 miles to the other location. Round trip of 30 extra miles @ 1.39 a mile??? So I had to pay $41.00 for your screw up. The truck was ok. Smelled of mint, wet dog and cigarette smoke. Grimy and dusty dash that blew crap on you when turning on the heater / air. Radio would change inputs every bump we hit. Alternator was screaming like a banshee and couldn't decide if it wanted to charge or not.Douglas C.

Answer the phone when I need to communicate the rental will be returned on time or later or earlier. DON'T DOUBLE CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMERS WHEN THE COMPUTER SYSTEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING AND STAFF REFUSES TO ANSWER CALLS. Service was slow but well done when an another associate became available. One associate was obviously not well trained which did not help the experience. I am still awaiting an email that gives me a final cost as our mileage was less than anticipated. We received our truck and the entire back smelled very strong of cannabis. I moved my 74 year old mom and her couch , love seat and 2 chairs not to mention her bedding and all of her clothing smelled of canabis. Now she has to gave her furniture cleaned, all of her clothes cleaned etc. tThe lady at the counter admitted that she knew it smelled strongly and it wasnt tight that it happened to us but offered no compensation. People were all nice but U-Haul really let me down. I dealt with 2 locations. The original in Ashland, did not have the vehicle despite scheduling it online and then checking with the local team the morning of the pick up, that the rental was secure. I was assured that it was. I was schedule to pick up the 10' truck at 11:30 AM. I arrived a bit early and found that that truck had been rented to someone else and was not due back until noon. The man called the renter and he said that he would not have it back until 1 pm. I was was scheduled to meet my paid moving team at noon. I was then sent all the way to North Medford to get a 15' truck and then there was confusion about it as it showed up in the system as an order for a 15' truck to be picked up back in Ashland. It was finally straightened out but it caused me a great deal of stress and more money out of my pocket. So, no, I'm not happy with U-Haul right now.Linda S.

Clean is the only thing going for this place. Almost all of the staff has been helpful and my card has never worked to access my unit. The managers were never there or available to help. And then the best part is I just got a notice they were raising the prices. This is the worst storage facility I've ever used and I've had really good experiences with uhaul in the past. Poorly managed storage facility, slow service, pay twice the price for half the space as anywhere else, very few total parking spaces in the lot for customers making storage here inconvenient and slow, be prepared to haul your goods across the property anytime you have to access your unit. Gary was really helpful. It had taken me a couple of weeks to find a storage facility with an available storage unit. When I finally had, I booked it right away even though I was unable to get there for a few days. Upon arrival, my access was denied. I purchased a lock from uhaul when I rented my storage they kept locking my unit telling me the lock they sold me was not acceptable. I complained about never being able to access my unit because of faulty key cards and locks on my unit and was met with attitude and poor customer service. They told me they wouldnt lose business ot having me because they are always full anyway terrible employees the only good employee there was having his 1st day at work that says alot. Ive rented from uhaul in the past and have never had a bad experience. It wasn't necessarily the employees fault but honestly I would never go back to a facility where you had to wait for an hour every time to open your storage unit. Apparently the it guy was on leave and the company wouldn't let them hire someone else, so my code to access my storage unit never got programmed into the system. I wasted so many hours of my life trying to get into that stupid storage unit because there was never more than one person. at the front desk and most of them didn't understand why I couldn't just use my code and I got forgotten about so many times.
