Customer service was awful and extremely rude. Place smelled like urine. No access after 7. Worst U-Haul location I’ve ever used.

The van was not clean, and had a cat litter smell that was overwhelming. Drop off app did not work correctly, and I could not access my phone camera to complete the transaction. The staff was friendly and helpful on checkout. They also corrected their error upon learning they had given me a van that shouldn’t have been rented, and corrected extra charges they had added. I have always had a good experience renting from this location, so I continue to recommend it. I hope this is bad experience an exception, and will not occur again.

I got screwed around by, #1: having an initial drop off location where they refused to take a trailer even though they had some on their lot, and #2: calling the uhaul help where they updated my drop off location to the "nearest" one to the fake drop off location, which was actually much further than this location that we went to by mistake. The guy who helped us finally rid ourselves of the trailer was great.

No improvement necessary. Online tools were easy to use. Check in was seamless and billing was accurate. We appreciated the option to extend the rental by 3 hours and the after hours drop off was just perfect for our needs. Thank you so much. We will definitely recommend your office and certainly look to you for any other truck rentals we need.

I recently moved from Seattle to San Diego, and got my U-Haul from here. From helping me choose the right truck, getting needed accessories, and to hitching my car on the tow dolly, Andre and his staff were, and are amazing! Thanks to them, my move went absolutely great! Thank you all so much!

Have the gas tank completely filled upon check-out so that the customer doesn't have to estimate in order to return the vehicle at the same level. This is practice is unfair - overfill to U-Haul's benefit (free gasoline for them,) under-fill and be charged an exorbitant fuel rate (also to U-Haul's benefit.)

I tried getting a vehicle via the self-pickup app, but it wasn't working. So one of the clerks helped me get everything straightened out. Things didn't seem ideally organized, but it wasn't too disruptive to my day.

Extremely difficult morning when the national server went down (the morning of my daughter’s wedding). While the staffers struggled with the technical glitch - and impatient customers - the Manager put forth a herculean effort to get the rentals out and pacify the amassing crowd (also was the last weekend of the month - very busy). She maintained decorum throughout the ordeal and was SO helpful when others might have shorted out. Kudos,

Fuel was less than they noted on my paperwork. Damage was evident around the vehicle that was not marked as previously noted. They did not ask me to do a walk-around with them on-site and complained that I saw the text message after I had already left the site. I also got dinged $50 for cleaning when the sticker inside specifically says $25 if returned uncleaned.

Agent gave me keys and told me I was good to go. I got punished for a damage that was already there and had a x sticker on it because agent never gave me a link to check in with pictures. He said since I had insurance I had nothing to worry about. Then I was charged $150. Plus truck was dirty and grimmy from the outside.

The online check out did not work. I was unable to begin my rental using the app/site and my phone. I had to go inside to the desk -- which is fine since that's the way I usually rent. But I tried the online rental option the very first time and it failed spectacularly. I was going to try it for returning the rental, but the location staff were far too fast and checked me in.

The two gentlemen who helped me were wonderful. I noticed a customer being very rude to one of them, and the man working behind the counter did a fabulous job handling his client's rude and offensive remarks. I wish I knew their names! They were excellent.

This is the closest site to my house so I use it. Renting a truck is never a fun event. I have found the employees to be capable and generally helpful. This last rental did have a couple of small hitches that could have been disruptive. When I made the reservation, I wanted it for two days. The woman only placed the contract for one day. Upon finding that I would have to return it by 8AM I said I need it until 1PM. That was not transferred on to the reservation. When I picked up the truck the attendant needed the truck back by8AM , a one day rental. Fortunately, the young man found that if I returned it by 1PM, a two day rental, it would be available for the next reservation It all worked out but the first womans' careless response to my needs almost cost me a considerable problem on returning the unit.
