The mobile check in was not easy and don't understand why you need to verify us when we have our drivers license. It wasted about 30 minutes of our time and we had to wait for place to be open. Workers weren't much help when it came to mobile check in. Equipment was left clean but wet inside on floor which made moving slippery and we had to take time to dry the floor

I emptied out my storage on Saturday January 8th. I had just paid my monthly storage payment on the 4th of 154.95. The employee assured me he would take care of it by Monday January 10th. Today is the 13th and I had to call customer service to try and resolve this isssue. Still waiting to hear from someone now.

We were there after hours, so the ratings may not be an accurate assessment. The worst part of the experience was the online return. Not user friendly. I took computer science classes in college so I do have some knowledge. I worked at AT&T Wireless as 1st job out of college & have knowledge of cellular systems as well.

My agent was a little lazy and didn't have the truck out front when I arrived, so I had to squeeze it around other trucks and walls to get on my way, but other than that, I was able to get my move finished.

My original pickup location was WESTERN RADIATOR 1008 SE Court Pl, Pendleton, OR 97801 They did NOT have my truck available. I do not remember the serial # or truck #, but it did not match the only 26" truck at this location. After an hour on hold with customer service, all they could tell me is they can assure me that the truck was at this location was here and to check around the back side of the building. Western Radiator is small. It would be pretty hard to hide a 26" truck. She also mentioned that the other truck was already rented out to someone else, or not yet returned. My phone was dying so I had to drive home during the hour I was on the phone waiting on hold so I could charge my phone. I asked the lady if she could stay on the phone with me during the 5 to 7 minute drive it would have taken me to drive down there, just so she could stay on the line with me so I can double check for a magical missing truck. She said no, and she would end the call if I drove down there. Great, so I drive back down there and to no one's surprise, my truck wasn't there. Cue another hour on hold. Someone finally answers, and I tell her everything that's going on. She's offers a relocation or a reschedule. I can't reschedule due to the time off my friend and I had taken to get me moved. I ask her if there are any trucks within 100 miles, and she says there aren't any within 20 miles. I told her I said 100, so she checks again - and still no. Keep in mind I rented this truck a MONTH ago and there's now not one within 100 miles of me. I had to settle for a 20" truck, which was at Round Up City Plumbing LLC 818 Airport Rd Pendleton, OR 97801. It's dark out now, the app isn't accepting any of the pictures until it finally did (probably 5 to 8 minutes per attempt, for a total of 15+ minutes just to upload the face and drivers' license.) After FOUR and a half hours, we're finally driving off with our truck. YAY! Except, it's too late in the day now and other people we had asked to help us pack boxes and furniture now can't help. My friend and I get as much done as we can, but we could only pack for about an hour and a half before it got too late and we had to stop due to him having a babysitter. Our only option now is to ask our other help to come back in the morning (Sunday 12/19) and do all of our packing AND moving in the same day. Ideally, we would have been packed the night before and drove off first thing in the morning at 10am. Instead, we're now leaving at 1:45PM. 3 hours and 45 minutes late, when the night before we wasted 4 and a half hours attempting to get our 26" rental truck and having to settle for a 20". The lady told me the night before that I would be compensated appropriately. I would be refunded the difference of not receiving my furniture pads or dolly, and also be given a $50 credit for uhaul not having my truck. She said I can expect the call tomorrow, on Sunday. Not only did the refund not equal the total of the sum of the pads + dolly and getting a smaller truck, but it has now been two days and no one contacted me for the $50 credit. The total cost of the furniture pads and dolly was $80. I was refunded $73. I don't know how this adds up. It doesn't end there. We finished unloading really late in the day, especially when we have a 220 mile drive back home. We get to the uhaul dropoff, and the app wouldn't even take a picture of the odometer and fuel. We spent probably 15 minutes trying. After the debacle we dealt with the day prior, I decided that we're just going to leave and I'll have to call customer service. Again. I spend approximately 80 minutes on hold before the lady that answered told me I would have to call the location before 12pm so I don't get charged an extra day. I told her this doesn't make sense, my contract had to be updated to 5pm and I'm given 48 hours. She said that doesn't matter, it says 12pm. Okay, that's fine, it's now Monday and the owner of U-Haul Storage of Gresham 704 NE Hogan Dr Gresham, OR 97030 closed my account out for me at 7AM so I didn't have to call. However, checking my email, I noticed that my prior order no longer exists, and somehow it got put into the driver's name, instead of mine, the one who rented and paid for the uhaul. This makes sense why the lady I spoke to regarding the dropoff wouldn't speak to me until I verified my email. All in all, terrible experience. And I have more to move in roughly 3 or 4 weeks and I'm going to be looking elsewhere for a moving truck unless I get refunded the appropriate amount and given some form of apology.

My storage unit was broken into. Nothing was done about it. No one looked through surveillance videos, I wasn't offered any compensation. No one really seemed to car. I paid a lot of money and my stuff would have been safer if I left it on a street corner. Will never use this storage facility again and am telling all of my friends not to use it either.

You could get the bill right. I drove less than 15 miles total and was changed for 77. I was told to put the gas back to the line above the 1/4 mark where it was when I picked it up and am being charged for 31 gallons of gas

Before I arrived I completed the online check in including taking photos of my drivers license. And yet when I arrived at the UH location they said there was no record of my DL photos so I had to go through that a 2nd time. Irritating.

The ramp for the truck was roo small. When i returned truck after hours. Your website would not accept my credir card. The same one rhat used to rent/pickup the truck. When i pi ked up truck uhaul system of payment would not accept 2 of my credit cards.untilthe man manually entered the number. I rented four times in about a month. Every time I went there, there was one or two employees not wearing a mask. Last time I went one employee was not wearing a mask. I did say "Aren't you guys supposed to be wearing a mask?" He replied "I don't care." Another employee handed him a mask where he proceeded to just put in on his face under his nose without making sure that mask was snug against the face. Otherwise he was friendly (until I mentioned the mask). He was still helpful though...

The location and hours were fine. The only reason I had to leave was because there was a rodent infestation in my unit. It appeared that mice came in through two different holes in the unit and left urine and feces all over, as well as a few dead mice. I know for certain I did not have any perishable items that would cause this issue. It was all furniture and appliances. I would not recommend this location for your storage needs, I basically paid to have my items pooped on- gross! Now I'm in the process of making an insurance claim, just a big inconvenience overall.

When I discussed the issue of trailer availability and how things had changed, I was faced with major negativity and in fact the local rep threatened to cancel my reservation, even though I had already been promised a $50 discount because of the change to the the reservation, The employee's hostility was very negative and made the pick up of the trailer discerning, After the pickup of the trailer I called the 800 number and was able to confirm the discount that the local employee was unwilling to even discuss, Sadly, there are limited one-way competitors with U-haul leaving us customers to deal with the piss poor customer support offered.

You have some great employees there. The guy that helped we get the rental was quick and helpful even gave a few tips on moving easier. The guy that checked the truck back in was very helpful and in a great mood he joked with us a little after I joked with him which was good after a lot of moving. Thanks for the great service.

Get the estimated out the door price in writing along with the whole payment. We got told 67 out the door twice by different people on the phone and pay the mileage once we got back(went to cali and back) . Got there to pick it up and was told it was 1,000 out the door because they include mileage up front and getting back you pay the difference. With what we had been told twice over the phone now had exponentially grown leaving us with no gas to go on the trip. (We had 1,000 set aside for the van, but it was coming in a check the friday we were returning which is why we were confused about the out the door payment. Luckily the assistant manager let us pay 393 up front as the hold, but when we got back they tried charging is an entire 1,000 not including what we had already paid, even though we were told the 393 would go towards the payment. Luckily we were able to figure out payment, but if you get told one thing on the phone mutliple times, and then told you just have to pay the 700+ difference to make it the 1,000 but at the counter you are expected to pay an entire grand more, totaling 1300 instead of 1,067 and then telling us that 393 will be getting returned to us. If it does not show up in our accounts by wednesday, (3 business days) we will have issues, and i recomment to anyone renting from here just get your payments in writing so its not a hassle like it was for us. Other than that everyone was very kind, did do their absolute best to try and take care of us in letting us split payments between two cards and cash, and stayed professional the whole time. So customer service is great, but the payment and out the door needs work communicating.

Every time I went in the store for two separate rentals, only one time a employee was wearing a mask. Saw multiple employees not wearing masks while working. The last rental I did , there was a dirty mask laying on the passenger seat. When I went to return the van even though it was outside, only one employee was wearing a mask and went into the can to inspect it. I called and complained twice and the employee that was wearing a mask said we aren't changing you for the extra day for being a few hours late. I feel both rentals should be compt. I will be reporting this Gresham Oregon location to the city for violating the mask mandate.

Best experience ever at a U-Haul--nice people and the process quick and no snags. (van rental) Two complaints; the re-fueling requirement is confusing and silly. Just keep the rentals trucks' tanks full. Don't make people have to return a truck at a weird fill level because that's where the tank was when they received it. Second, my windshield was filthy. Otherwise the van was clean.

Second time I have dealt with the person checking us in. Abrupt and not flexible.. Showed us what we needed to know. When asked about the free lock, because it says on the website multiple times - free lock with a rental. He could not handle the customer service and said, No! That is not how we do it here. When we got to the unit. There was a lock inside. He scooped it up. I said again. The website says there is a lock included. Again. He said no. We do not give out locks. From my experience it your website states something, you honor it.

I do have a question about the security. I was told it was great security but twice I have gone to the storage unit and the entrance gate is wide open and then when I got to the door to enter my section of storage I didn't have to scan my card because the door was open both times. I didn't feel very secure. I do have a lock on my unit of course but I was told everything was going to be shut and you had to use your card to enter the gate and then into the door
