I'm not sure what you can do, all i know is that the truck that i rented wobbled like crazy in the steering wheel, had a sputter of some sort. So maybe maintain the trucks better.Andrew R.

Cons: Our truck was buried in the back and not ready when we arrived for our appointment. The wiper blades barely functioned and we were driving during a huge rainstorm. The loading ramp was rusted and required 3 people to push it onto the lock. The rear door latch was also rusted and very difficult to open and close. Pros: The truck had a full tank of gas. Location did not honor credit as promised by customer service tech via phone for change in pick up location. Van had 1/16 tank of gas requiring me to go straight to gas station and anxious of running out of gas in unknown city. Dash of van was extremely dusty. End of rental follow-up was unacceptable. Rental manager never contacted me as promised and issued a $50 credit with a message I could not see because I do not have a uhaul account. I asked for the manager to contact me by phone. I had asked for 2 packs of blankets. When I arrived at home, the blankets were not in the truck, so I had to return with the truck and get them. The girl who got them for me said she had them and was trying to flag me down, and I told her she should have called me. Mike told me to bring the truck back filled to the same gas level I received it, which I did. The woman who checked me in said I would not receive any fuel credit unless the truck was 1/4 full when it was returned. I received it at 1/8 full and drove about 30 miles. She also said I would not get any money back for the one pack of unused blankets. The $29.99 on the side of the truck is extremely misleading as my charge was over $120. I knew I would be paying for mileage, the truck rental, insurance, and the blankets. It seems unreasonable the extra would be over$90 with tax.Cynthia O.
After picking up equipment parked across the street to grab quick breakfast and the truck was being towed. The location manager directed the tow truck driver to my truck vice the abandoned truck down the street. This ended up with me arguing in the rain over it all and being late to my destination. Ridiculous. Supposedly the manager was going to give me a discount for the trouble but that is yet to be seen.TODD A.
The manager on duty was awesome. But I was unhappy with the service uhaul gave me. I was told that my pick up location for 1 of the 2 trucks I was picking up was changed no more than 18 hours before it was changed. Worst Service Ever. Worst day of my life. Do not use U-Haul. On my way to pick my truck (Saturday) at Tacoma, WA they called me to tell me that they didn't have the truck. They apologized and gave me some extra few miles. I had my two group of movers schedule for that day, and I had to cancel them for an extra charge. But this doesn't end here. The next day (Sunday) they asked me to go at 9:00AM to another location to pick up the truck so I trusted them (U-Haul) and booked my two group of movers ($400) for Sunday. One at my former location and the other group for my current location for unloading the truck. Guess what? When I got to the new location of U-Haul they said they didn't have a truck either. My movers were at my place already. I lost both appointments for my movers. I lost $400. Then U-Haul from the second place at Tacoma sent me to Puyallup, WA. 35 minutes away from Tacoma because that's the only place they found a truck for me. I spent $50 in my Uber. It took half of day. I did the moving by myself with my friend and I lost $400 of the movers. The thing is that when I was at Tacoma, there was a several other couples with the same problem. Uhaul didn't have their trucks. The thing is the guys from the always say: â€œIt's not our fault, it's traffic faultsâ€ Dude, you work for U-Haul, it's your fault.Alberto V.

Ronnie is one of the rudest people that I have ever came across in my life. She changed my reservation. Gave me the wrong address, then told me I was checked in when I wasn't. Didn't add the equipment that I needed and already added to my previous reservation that was cancelled. She then asked me how many people were in the branch I said 2 she made a comment about people just wanting to live off the government and not work. She then hung up on me. I have absolutely no intention on ever using uhaul again. I hope whoever actually works above her has a serious rude awakening in regards to company representation. Worked with two individuals at this location. 1st person, Tabitha was very nice and professional. She was having some issues with the computer system so I believe it took longer than normal to get the U-haul. It cost me, for unknown reasons $200 more. She claimed the insurance was not included when I set up the reservation. I thought it was since I was very adamant about the insurance. She did not go with us to complete the walk around. She did not help or show me I only had a short window to do a walk around for the auto transport as well. Did not know which auto transport I was going to receive. U-haul only had 1/4 tank of gas -> very unprofessional. When we went back to the lot, she was not there only a young man. Not sure if he was the mechanic or just maintenance employee. No manager on duty. Should have been all red flags but had the U-haul already packed. Took in the appliance cart - he advised he would take care of it. Asked if I had to sign anything for returning it or a receipt. He said no. Tried to charge me over $400 for the auto transport. I told him I already paid for it that morning. He said according the the computer I did NOT pay for it. When I produced the receipt from that morning, he was like, oh. Then we walked out - noticed I could not use the text link to do the auto transport to complete the walk around. The equipement was so close together, he pulled out the auto transport and scratched a line down the side. I told him I was taking pictures in case it came back on me. Also had a witness with me to confirm. He marked the side. He was not going to help me load my vehicle. I told him I thought I paid the extra fees for it. He tried to charge me $50 again. Should have know something was up. When the U-haul and auto transport was hooked together. Discovered the parking lights would not work. Turn signals and brake lights worked. He threw a wrench and said he it was the truck. I am not sure he knew what to do or how to fix. He said he would have to take it out of commission and he could not guarantee when another truck the same size would come through. We said we would gamble. He was okay with it. Driving, there were other things not working we discovered. The cigarette lighter would work for a few hours then had to use the other one. Then that one acted up switched back and forth over 4.5 days of traveling. Plug to auto transport wiggled free and out of socket. A mess!HELEN C.

Pictures on the contract were of the trailer when it was new, and it was currently in very used condition. Was double charged for my rental, and when I tried to call, they kept forwarding me to a storage place who was â€œhelping with calls.â€ Very frustrating.WILLIAM S.
Consistency between employees. My rental van did not have a full tank of gas as the attendant said and had an almost empty tank. I was told to put notice to that on the walk around text which did not come through until hours later. So the attendant said take a picture of it with the date time stamp. When I returned it, the new attendant said they do not accept pictures and I should have done it through the initial walk around text which I couldn't do because I received it towards the end of my time with the van. Just some consistency with discrepancies would be appreciated and make ease of process easier since the initial walk around text didn't come through until hours laterBRONNIE K.

Returned truck after hours. Attempted to use the App to complete the rental. It stalled on uploading the odometer reading, so then I'm stuck there with no way to proceed. Eventually we just put the keys in the key drop and left. U-Haul closed out the transaction a fews days later, charges were okay, but I got no invoice and no answer to inquiries. Very poor communication and systems, I'd say. I would not recommend using their App.Robert H.

I ordered a 20ft truck a week in advance .5 miles from my house and when I arrived it was not there. My reservation had been confirmed yet the only remedy was having to drive to Burien, 30 minutes out of the way and 50 minutes back to my house, on the morning I was moving. I had to move out of my house with an hour and a half less time before the deadline because of this mistake on UHaul's part. Additionally, I was not able to bring my couches to my new house because I had to get a shorter truck. This was one of the worst experiences with any company I have ever had.ANA M.
