--DO NOT RECOMMEND-- I almost never write a review unless required but I feel the need to warn others about the Uhaul location off of TV Hway (Aloha, Beaverton). It took me almost an hour just to book a van from that location and although the rep had a professional manner, he did not tell me anything about checking in when returning the vehicle except for parking the van back in the U-shaped drive through when returning, dropping off the key into the box right outside his office, and not parking my car in the parking lot but on the street or else it would be towed. My kids were screaming at home both when I rented the van and when I returned it so mind you, I did not have the right mindset to re-read the contract and looked for the part where it said something about the $20 fee if I failed to "check in" online after retuning the van and key. To this day I don't even know where in the contract stated that. I checked my email the next day just to receive a receipt from Uhaul with a bunch of extra charges that made my original bill almost double! I was also charged for failing to fuel the tank up to where it was supposed to be. The rep said to return it to about the 7/8 line and I made a note of that on my phone. To be extra careful, I did take a picture of where it was originally for proof right before dispatching because it was NOT at 7/8. But that doesn't matter. I still made sure to filled it up at least 7/8 when returning the vehicle. I remember feeling like a dummy for filling it up MORE than what they gave me but I was like "Oh well, that's ok!", but no, the rep charged me 1.5 gallon more because it was somehow below expected (which is absolutely not true!). I called them and they said they'd get back to me right away. No call. I emailed them at the customer email provided. Nothing! You'd think a big company like Uhaul would treat their customers better. Bring your business somewhere else unless you'd want to be charged for outrageous charges and have your hard earned money thrown out the window!

The trick was filthy, below gas level notated and alignment was off from 10-2 to 2-9. I called the manager right away and he was absolutely wonderful with handling the situation. I'd give 5 stars for him If I could!

So after the start of my move was screwed up I further had the pleasure of someone from this location calling to say I was late to return my truck - which to my knowledge I was not - I believe my return time was not entered correctly by the person I spoke to at my original pick up location who said they were changing my reservation the the Franklin Blvd location - I don't know - all I know is that my move started off terrible due to whomever made the error that resulted in my truck not being ready on time then ended with this jerk calling from the drop off location to chew me out because he said I was late returning instead of allowing me to explain or looking into the matter further to see if maybe there was an error. Then when I went to drop the truck off and attempted to use the app some guy came running up and got in the truck didn't say who he was or explain he was checking it in - overall this was just a horrible experience - thanks for making my move hell from start to finish.

I had to drive an extra 44 miles from molalla to beaverton to pick up my car dolly/ they had one in molalla? i dont know why it was set up that way? i was charged for miles overage i think the 44 miles from both u hauls should be deducted from ther obverage.The molalla store was very helpful the beaverton store was not! the outside employee was rude and the car dolly was missing a lug nut and 3 were loose! i had to toghten them to stop the noise it was making.

All info was entered online including credit card. Then had to go thru too much when in the store. Should not have to use my phone to process info. It would be much more user friendly to have the employee take the photo of license, (re)run the credit card, etc - they know the process. While standing in line other customers had to ask questions on the steps to do the things on their phone. The employees get frustrated having to continually explain to each customer and the customer gets frustrated because they have to learn how to do it. Get rid of the emergency number. Had to give 4 different peoples phone numbers before finally had one that would answer or indentify themselves on voice mail. Felt like there was no trust. I understand people probably abuse rental trucks but it should not be assumed everyone does. I cleaned the truck better than when I got it and put more gas in then when I started. To instill a positive enviroment could consider rewarding people for caring for the vehicle. For eample, instead of a cleaning fee that is added to the charge than refunded. They had my card info, the contract could say $25 will be added to the card if dirty and the customer would agree when signing the contract. Don't like the after-the-fact check out procedure. I was told the truck would be gone over and they will send me the close out document. If I got home and my bill showed added cost for whatever I would have no way to disagree or contest it. Too many texts and emails just to rent a truck. Whole process needs to be smoother, simpler and easier since moving is stressful and hard enough as it is. I rated the location as I did not because of the people but because of the process. Had one employee who was great and another not so great. I used to like U-haul, especially being it started in the NW. To hard to work with U-Haul.

I arrived and tried to explain that I did not ask for the hand truck, moving dolly or blankets and the representative at check-in shouted at me, demanding I fold the blankets or there would be a charge. I tried again to let him know but he kept yelling and didn't seem to understand me. I went inside and informed someone at the front desk of what was going on. They seemed unsurprised at the actions of their fellow employee, muttered into a device to say not to charge for the extras and told me I was free to go. A huge difference from my return here last week, which was way more pleasant.

Instead of electronic check-out, the outside receiver sent me into the office to check-out. This office was also understaffed and the wait was long. Then, after told I was good to go, they apparently didn't check-in the trailer I returned because I got a call the next day asking when I was going to return the trailer. I explained that I had indeed returned the trailer on time and that had not received an receipt. I was sent the receipt electronically later that same day.

Truck I reserved a week in advance was not there. Reserved at another location & had to drive across town to pick it up only to find out it was rented to someone else. Rented me a smaller truck so I had to make 2 trips. No apologies.

The truck I used (TM2846E) has a problem with the key. It will not turn readily. It's necessary to wiggle the key around to start the engin.

The truck was not prepared for my reservation. It had someone's lunch in it, tacos and old pop bottles. The bag was soaked with greaSe and had ripped leaving onions on seat (stinky) and then it had a flat tire before I could even put it in gear.

The truck was filthy and obviously NOT sanitized. The transmission was horrible and would do some pretty crazy things like downshift in the middle of going 60mph, send me and my cargo flung forward. It was also hard to get in gear at times. After riding in that truck I wanted to follow Trump's advice and shoot myself up with bleach.

I gave only an average rating because I had some individual issues regarding moving out of my storage and I had a horrible time getting through for help on the phone line in addition to leaving repetitive phone and email messages without hearing back from management.

I was charged a cleaning fee by the drop location after I cleaned the cab to better condition I received it . Just ridiculous that I can be charged for someone else's mistake and there is nothing I can do about that

Billed extra $200 for no reason. Customer service line took an hour on hold and ended up accidentally charging another $212. They eventually had to issue a $420 reimbursement. These people are lost when it comes to billing for the contract.

My first experience after arriving was being asked if I could vacate my place in line after waiting 15 minutes, so I could move my car. Upon arriving, the parking spaces were full, and the only place I could park was in one of the return lanes that were fully clear. At the moment, it wasn't a big deal, but it wasn't a necessary ask, given that time of day, and when returning ,the lot attendant did nothing to help hold my place, which led to an awkward, and somewhat aggressive response from the others in line when I came back to my place (not the best start). I had requested a one round trip rental, when arriving at the location the reservation was wrong, and was calculating a one way drop off trip that was significantly more expensive. The person helping me could not figure out how to remedy the reservation - only after a manager was found, was he told there was a known computer programing problem that results in this problem with regularity. He was able to fix the reservation after about 20 minutes, however it charged me a for an insurance product that I had not agreed to while making the reservation. I was so ready to be on my way after the delay, and awkwardness of the whole event, I didn't make a fuss. (Not the worst experience, but not great.) When getting out into the lot, the attendant was on his cell phone, speaking to whom is unknown. I assumed he was standing in front of my rental, so backed in front of it and waited for him to get off his phone, all the while with the impression, that I was inconveniencing him. With no urgency whatsoever, he finished his call looks at the lighting connection on my vehicle, and ask me if I have an adapter for the 4 prong cable. I replied that I did not. He then instructed me to go back into the store where where I could purchase one for $11. Baffled, I asked him if he was serious - to which he noted, that they used to supply them based on the connection customer had on their vehicles, but that they lost too many, and so they stopped providing them. (seems like a you problem, not keeping track of your equipment - everything adding up to this, i can deal with, but now I'm frustrated - and begin to show it). The manager eventually comes out and actually asks the question "why he would supply the equipment needed for me to tow the trailer" and that "I should know that I need to arrive with the 'equipment' needed to connect their trailers." He says this as he pulls out a 3 ft cable to attach to the trailer to reach my car - he'll provide that equipment, but not the terminal end for me to drive away, seems like semantics to make an extra buck from my perspective. Frustrated at this entire experience, I agree to pay again just to get on with it, he apologizes which I find odd - if he was sorry then he should do something to make this experience better for his customers. I try to appeal to him, asking him to provide equipment i believed i was renting, and charge me if I don't bring it back in full, but he will have nothing of it. I pay the extra charge, and I leave. I returned the equipment yesterday, and left the $11 equipment (of which I have 2 at home, one my boat trailer, and 6ft utility trailer) with a note to the manager to keep it on hand for future customers in order to foster a better customer experience where he can. This place needs a lot though to deliver such an experience. I just bought a second home on the coast, and will be renting equipment for the next few weeks to make the move - none of which I plan on renting from Uhaul.

Please have line spacing outside your doors. Everyone was there early for the 12 9am appts you had and we all were in a huddle by the door. Otherwise, great experience and really appreciate the service!

Drop-off employee was unnecessarily rude. I thought he told me to "come find me" when I was done with my online drop-off. When I went to go give him my key, he asked me "why I didn't listen" and that he said to "leave the key" on the seat. It was a simple misunderstanding he didn't need to be an asshole about.

The check in / out process is cumbersome at best. The smartphone should be an option, not a requirement. Staff was EXCELLENT! Very helpful.

The Hispanic middle age man who does the check back in is a jerk. I saw him yelling at two different people a third including myself. He's not happy if people take longer than half a second to get their truck going. He rushes people and does not communicate at all. You need to get someone else to be customer facing

I rented the truck for maybe 5 minutes. The reason I needed it was cancelled. They charged me for a full 24 hours, and 89 miles I did not drive. The woman who checked me in and out was less than helpful in the process. I don't know why they are charging me for a truck I barely rented. I am fine paying the initial price but I am not paying for miles I did not drive or time I did not have the truck. Ridiculous!

The inside of truck was DIRTY (seats) - had not been vaccumed. Dusty and when I got hold, washed my hands and water was brown from holding the steering wheel. Bed of truck had dirt in it as well as driver floor mat. Was surprised since I reserved for a Friday, not a weekend that I thought would be busier. When I returned the truck (before closing Friday evening), had to wait in a line (3 vehicles in front of me) and a couple behind. No one was out there processing the returns. Disappointed!!!

No parking for customers. Parked in a truck return parking. Mexican comes out starts yelling at me. Could not understand him. Manager comes out shows me where to park but have to wait for a car to move. He gives me a hard time about NOT having an oregon address. I live in vancouver. Was moving some stuff from one storage unit to another on the same road as uhaul was on. The site let me e book this trailer w/o having an oregon address. I had to give him my sons Renter beware. They are NOT customer friendly.

The men at the counter were hardly helpful with, the mobile check in process was complicated when it cane to assigning an alternate contact complicating our pick up process. To top it all off the truck came out to well over $100 for just ONE DAY of use!!! Not worth it in my opinion, lesson learned however.

When I returned my uHaul, Sabino was a huge jerk. He was rude, condescending, and screamed at me. He gave mixed signals and got mad at me for following the directions of another employee. I am also disgusted as to how he treated another female employee there. He needs to go.

The trailer I rented had a tire that had been fixed with a plug. It would only hold 20-30 psi. The other three tires were fine except they were 15psi under the recommended pressure. The fellow who helped me get the trailer hooked up was very helpful. He noted that the hitch was to high, but that if it were turned over it would work. He took the ball off and flipped it over and it worked just fine. The Beaverton location is more convenient for us, but my wife says that the Tigard locations store is much more inviting and better organized. She says that the Beaverton store is not very organized in comparison.

Well I booked a 26 foot truck and I had to change to a 20 foot truck and to a further location and that added many more miles to my trip I was trying to move on a budget and the ruined some things

Pick up was convenient and the staff were great. Drop off was backed up and the staff member was quite gruff when offering directions. Perhaps he was stressed with the jam of trucks being turned in? U-Haul was mostly clean.

Everything was great until I returned the vehicle. I was scheduled to return the vehicle at 4:30 p.m. and I arrived early, at around 4:08. The employee who returned my vehicle (DC 2647N) at this time was angry, rude, and abusive. I was shocked when I pulled up to the return area and this man was furious and shouted at me to "get out! Someone is about to pick this vehicle up, get out!!!" I was confused and shocked, as I have previously had positive experiences with this Uhaul location. This employee was terribly abusive to me and I was scared he was going to touch me. I went inside the office to ensure that everything was in order, and sure enough, it was -- 4:30 was my scheduled drop-off time. And I was early. I spoke to the man inside who issued my post-return receipt, who said the outside employee "was running around a lot." Is this how Uhaul trains its employees? Absolutely shocking return experience. Just terrible.

Staff inside was terrible. Didn't seem to care about customer satisfaction. One employee was audibly rude to another customer. Didn't receive paper so it was difficult and took longer to get my equipment rental. Guy in the yard was very helpful though. All in all it was a pretty terrible experience compared to the last time I was at this uhaul center.

Every time I needed anything from UHaul, this is the location I've always gone to. Friendly people, great products they even do hitches. Unfortunately I won't be dealing with this location anymore. My last use of this place, they helped me with my one-way move out of state :( I'll miss the people at that place. They are the ones who really made it a great place to go to.

Make sure the trucks are washed and cleaned in side and out mine was bad it was a 2008 ford with 136311.2 miles on it the alignment was all messed up on it the passenger side tire was worn out but the attendant that was working there that I showed it to said it was to their standards

The counter guy was swamped, trying his best to keep up and was doing good. Just seems like some more bodies up at the front line could move things along. Overall this is the best Uhaul in the area I always rent from here. Keep up the good work!

I rent a truck at least once a week. The trucks are not very well cleaned. Every time I use the online/no contact check in process, I have to go in the store to get the key anyway. I have been overcharged twice.

Staff here helpful, and made a point to help me out. I had a call the night before confirming my reservation. When I arrived on time to pick up my rental. The pickup truck was not available. The helper could not explain why the truck wasn't available. Said maybe it got stolen off the lot the night before??? They called to other locations and were able to reserve me the truck. I had to call for a ride to drop me off at the other location pick up the truck drive it back to the to the store and pick the the trailer. It was annoying and made me over and hour and a half late. It was out of the hands of the employees in not having the truck in the lot. But they were helpful.

The back of the U-Haul box truck was nasty it smelled like a farm when we opened it. So we had to take time and clean and sweep it out before we started. Was very inconvenient.

The staff at the Beaverton facility on TV Hwy are great people; very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Even with all the smoke and the natural stress patrons bring with them, the staff was able to retain their sense of humor and helpfulness. The storage unit was clean, very secure, and easy to access. I appreciate the tall ceilings! Thank you U-Haul!

only issue I had. I had waited 30 minutes in line to get a truck and rentva unit. The guy stated I could fill out paperwork when I returned truck. I assumed my storage unit was in the system, so upon my return I could place my items in unit. I was not given my code, upon return I had to wait another 20 minutes in line to finish getting the unit, in which was never put in system upon my first visit and the unit was not placed on hold and was unavailable. The second time waiting in line was my issue.

My only complaint, which is kind of a major one. The prices were a bit high and kept rising. Which is why I had to relocate to another storage place to pay less.

I love the guys in the office they were helpful, friendly, funny and light-hearted. During such stressful and uncertain times it was really nice to just be able to crack a few jokes and lighten the mood. I will definitely use this storage facility again in the future if the need ever arises!

I really liked that I could rent via mobile device and after hours, since the move was unplanned. However, I was supposed to receive the first month free with the rental of a vehicle. There was no way to apply the free month via online. There is no way to contact the storage office directly (I must call and wait on hold from 20 min to 1hr+) and have yet to receive assistance with this 3 weeks after the move-in. Also, the access wasn't clear, and we we're locked out of the facility after hours the first time we arrived (because 2 vehicles entered using our code, which "logged us out"). I dropped a rental truck at this location as well as renting a storage unit. The process with the storage unit went well and there were no issues. I however have an issue with the rental return. I picked up a 15 foot truck in Medford Oregon on Saturday June 27th. When I picked up the truck it was very low on gas and I asked the attendance what is the process for fueling. I was told to return the truck with the same amount of gas as when I picked it up. I returned the truck with the exact amount of gas to the Beaverton location but then last night got a bill for $54 in fuel charges. I called the store and was told they will look into it. I am not sure why I was charged for fuel when I returned it exactly the same amount of fuel as I picked it up with. I think this is taking advantage of customers and a sneaky way to get some additional money from the customer. I will certainly dispute this charge if a credit is not give to my account. This is no way to treat a customer.

The staff were very loud so it was hard to hear to process my reservation. Besides that, my reservation was lost and had to be created which took much longer than expected. The paperwork there is duplicative and wasteful. Why can't the storage contract be emailed? Why did I have to fill out my insurance information twice? These seem to be mostly systemic issues and not the fault of the particular location.

HOWEVER, was not informed needed to provide home owners insurance coverage information for storage and that would have been helpful to know when reserving.

There were only 2 Uhaul employees behind the counter at 3:30 on a Sunday. Also the 1st day of the month. The line was out the door. I was told the gentleman was going to put a lock on my empty storage unit and then I could leave.
