The lady Pamela was rude as hell I was literally standing inside the Ellis Blvd location in Jefferson City Missouri waiting to get help and I was next in line Pamela was outside just staring at me and came in to help the person behind me and I really think Pamela is racist because she literally saw me there waiting and I was next in line it was another lady in their working helping another customer and when Pamela walked in the lady told her that I was next and Pamela ignored her and helped the man behind me WHICH WAS COMPLETELY RUDE I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN BECAUSE PAMELA IS SO RUDE AND SHOWS NO TYPE OF RESPECT THANK GOD THIS NICE GENTLEMAN CAME IN AND MADE SURE HE HELPED ME BECAUSE HE KNEW I WAS SO MAD AND THE MAN WHO HELPED ME HE IS A MANAGER AND WAS VERY NICE BIT PAMELA SHOULD BE FIRED SHE IS UNPROFESSIONALParis J.

I reserved my truck 30 days in advance. It was a simple procedure. On the scheduled day Check in was quick and efficient. My 10' truck was waiting at the front door. Just many thanks to this location and went out of the way to help how they could and called around to find other hauls to see if availability but lucky they had one come back while I was there to fit me in for use and made sure it was clean and completely sanitized and a really want to express the help and appreciation from Kristina Washington for going the not just the extra step but the extra mile and understanding with respect. And a big many thanks Kristina Washington and way to go and with great awesome people personality. So just saying from this company of uhaul I hope and pray you all compliment her and with even more to her. And also can't remember the guy working with her was trying to work and help customer too and honestly I don't know how he stayed so calm with the customer being disrespectful and rude. If that was me, ida had to been professional and say I'm sorry but with your attitude as a customer, I'm gona have to ask you to leave sir. But again if I'm ever need a uhaul in Jefferson City Mo 65101. I will come back to Ellis blvd and hopefully be able to deal salesperson Kristina Washington, again also I will always recommend this location to anyone for an outstanding location and keep up the good work. Honestly in my opinion she deserves a bonus and a pay raise and hope uhaul follows through with this and honestly respects this enuf to step up as well and give a good one with this review and even to the guy was there the same day working as well. The first guy I spoke with was new and didn't know what he was doing. The older lady was extremely rude to me when I was in there and was extremely rude to my wife and her mother when they were having issues with the gate code not working. My storage unit also allowed rain water in and damaged multiple items and several boxes. The storage unit also had oil stains which thankfully only got on the bottom of boxes and not on any furniture. I would NEVER recommend any U-Haul based purely on the lack of customer service that I had received. You could tell that the employees hated their jobs. Sad.Justin M. | Overall Experience

we rented a truck for less than 24 hours.we got a truck that was 15 ft for 29.95 and had to paid an additional .79 cent a mile there we agreed to. we didn't use the equiptment because we were told that if we used it they would charge us 12.00 more. we used the truck for about 6 hours and we made sure it was swept out when we got it and we saw that sign stating a 25.00 off our bill. well there again that wasn't applied . we put a 100.00 down to hold the truck knowing it was going to help with the final charge. we made sure there was the right amount of gas in there truck when we returned it. and all in all it cost us way more than we were expecting . our total was 161.50 which was totally unexpected. so I won't recommend this facility to anyone .Helen S.

Rented a trailer. When my husband asked if he could return to a different location we were told yes. He asked again if it would cost to return to a different location and he was told no. Come to find out that wasn't right but we didn't have time to drive the 45 minutes to return it. The second employee didn't care and said the other guy was new and what he told us was wrong. He said we would be charged double the rental fee which was $35. Instead of $35 we were charged $530. This is extremely stupid. They're a bunch of scam artists.Cesar R.

My answers to this survey apply only to my 5x5' climate-controlled storage unit (#2320). I had a 10x20' non-climate-controlled unit (#162) rented through this same U-Haul location, and discovered yesterday when emptying both units that in unit #162, i had water-damaged furniture & boxes of household items. Fortunately, i had elected to have insurance through U-Haul on the contents in this unit & will be making contact today.JEANE T. | Overall Experience
I first made my reservation online and when I went to pick up a lock and paperwork, I was not in the system. Then it took about an hour in the office to make a new reservation in person. I was then told my code for the gate would not work for 24hrs. So, I had to come back the next weekend. When I pulled up to the gate, the code did not work, the intercom button did not work, so I had to call. They again, could not find me in the system. Even though I had all of my paperwork.... There was a definite process to access my unit but no email was sent to me to explain that when I set it up online. I was supposed to access a particular driveway and put codes in at certain places. Below POOR!!!! Manager Chandell lied about 24/7 max security property with camera surveillance as the camera system where I was put "was not working." Homeless people walked the property freely living in their units their presence acknowledged by Chandell, office staff and maintenance!! Entire staff also knowingly acknowlwdge MANY issues with locks AFTER my unit was robbed!! Maintenance claimed they checked doors nightly. Never saw maintenance on prperty. I was not give the U-Haul required lease agreement that would have provided insurance for my stolen belongings but insted moved in under an old driver licence with no signatures which denied my claim with Republic Western by representitive (John) even before the police report was made availabe. Becky Hall claimed to look into my situation and lied about calling me back claiming she had written down a wrong number! Which would have been availabe had the proper lease agreement been provided! Family heirlooms, safe full of legal and financial documents as well as MANY personal items GONE!! Shame on you U-Haul of Jefferson City Missouri off Ellis Blvd!!
