When I arrived only one person was working the counter. The customer that was at the counter was a walk in, so all the information needed to be entered, which took time. After the order was complete the U-Haul employee went outside to hook up the trailer. In the meantime a line was starting. By the time the employee returned, there was four people in line. Wait time was about 20 minutes. Once I got to the front counter, three more U-Haul employees arrived. I reviewed the contract and noticed that the drop off time was not 24 hours from when I checked out, so I need to return to the counter to get that corrected. After receiving the keys to the truck, I found that there was no furniture dolly, went back inside, and was told to just grab one. I completed the truck inspection and started to drive off, but one idiot light did not go out. So parked the truck in the lot and waited while employee tried to get it to go off. Wait time about 25 minutes. Did not leave very impressed. Arrived at 11:30, left at 12:25Brian T.

I recently had a truck share rental that was not transmitted to the store until â€œtoo late to prepare the equipment .â€ I was picking up before opening but had to wait until after the store opened (1 hr delay) to pick it up through the counter. My only beef with this location is having to walk to the opposite end of the building to get to the service desk. I have severe back issues that really impede me ability to walk or stand for very long. By the time I walk from the car to the service desk then wait my turn, I want to cry. Was charged for estimated 30 miles and only used 24 per recipet, no credit was applied for overage charged Additionally milage was one mile over stated milage when starting trip( took pic and uploaded) also was listed as one mile more than promoter read when I left vehicle, so I should have only been charged for 22 mile. I took a picture to show that but wasn't correct at beginning of tripTabitha R.
My reservation was switched to this location the day before my move due to the prior renters having an emergency. Wasn't a huge deal because they put $50 credit on my account accept that it was super difficult to actually use that credit. Also it was supposed to just be an online pickup at 8am but they didn't set it up for that so I had to wait an hour for them to open which put us behind schedule. Truck was clean and worked fine. During online drop off I still didn't see the $50 credit being applied so I chose the not sure about price option and it said someone would contact me, just to receive an emailed receipt the next day for the full amountâ€¦ Waited in the phone for several hours to speak with someone just to say that the $50 had been applied or that it was being sent to me or something? So I'll be keeping an eye out for that.ROBERT M.

My reservation was not as ordered. I was to pick up by 8:00 but it was changed without a call or email to 9:00. I had reserved through the website and was told it was traffic's delay in sending the reservation. The delay caused me to make multiple calls to U-Haul and reschedule my moving help. An early arriving U-Haul employee completely ignored me standing at the door and didn't even engage me to let me know the store opened at 9 which would have allowed me to address the problem.GERALD WADE H.

Our reservation was made for a different location then changed without our knowledge so we didn't get our Uhaul until a couple hours after we reserved the vehicle, the steering wheel hardly turned the truck, and because they switched us to a pick up location that was further away we were charged extra even though it wasn't our fault Uhaul got the pick up location wrong. I was charged numerous times for a unit that I never used, was never shipped and never agreed to pay for. It took me a month of repeated calls to customer service, MORE THAN FIFTEEN HOURS OF MY TIME WASTED ON HOLD over the course of two weeks waiting to speak to a human before the issue was resolved. Incredibly frustrating and unneeded added stress during a move that is by its nature a challenging endeavor. I reserved two ubox units as I was unsure if one would contain my property. I was able to pack all of my belongings in one unit & informed staff that I would be shipping just the one unit from AZ to OR. The second unit was never loaded, never shipped but also never removed from the system. When I was able to speak to actual humans after an average of 1.5 hours on hold per call they were all helpful, which was nice but WOW IT MOSTLY SUCKED.Luke G.
I rented a 19.95 10ft uhaul. I was charged over 120.00 for a 24 hour rental... 83.00 and some change the first time.. then when we turned it in we were charged an additional 40.00. We travelled less than 30 miles. And I brought it back clean and with a full tank. This is less than the 15ft uhaul we rented for 24 hours which cost us around 60.00. I am extremely unsatisfied with the service. I feel like your business took advantage of me.SEAN M.

I went inside to get the furniture pads and he took his time to bring them out to the van. When he saw the condition of the van, he immediately switched me out to a clean van and blankets. Curtis who appears to be a manager is a misogynistic pig. He instructed me to "shove it in the hole hard" referring to my credit card for payment. When I asked questions about where to return the uhaul he said calm down I'll tell you. Then proceeded to tell me if I was married to him I'd drive him away. The entire interaction was inappropriate and very unprofessional. I also had my female friend with me who witnessed the entire thing. You guys really set the bar low for employees.Rebekah M.

I was told that I could park my motorcycle there along building. 2 days later I went to pick up bike & was told by female representative I was lucky that I got there in time because they called tow company. I asked lady representative why didn't she call me to tell me to move my bike she said she called several times, but I didn't receive one missed call or voicemail from uhaul. Find it repulsive & unprofessional to tell me I can park my bike along building then lie about calling my phone and call tow company.MARISSA W.

Waited 40 minutes when it said check-in was quick and easy. One person working, 6 people in line Gas tank leaked. Discovered after sitting in the driveway loading. Had filled the tank and was down to a quarter after 2 hours. I was allowed to exchange it but that took 1:5 hours and my help had to leave shortly thereafter. When returning the truck the check in/out process didn't work either so just left the key in the box I did not receive paperwork the first time but did the second. Whole day was a fiasco due to these situations. There was not even an offer of compensation for the companies errors. We were lucky the gas tank didn't blow up or start a fire. I have to rent a U-Haul in two weeks to move state to state. If I had an option I would select it, but I don'tAudra L.

I reserved a 26' truck almost a month in advance. Arranged a time and movers, then received a call the morning before my move that the 26' truck I reserved was not available. With that said having the truck available that was reserved would be nice. I had to borrow an additional truck.VIRTUDEZ G.

Charge for two days by mistake, They apparently failed to check in the trailer after I returned it, they charged me for an additional day when they finally check it in the next day took me three phone calls and several hours just to get it fixed. The vehicle was dirty, bugs all over the windshield and the inside windshield was dirty also. They said to bring it back full of fuel or get charged extra. I drove 24 miles total @ aprox 20 miles per gallon. When I went to top it off it took 3.9 gallons. I obviously did not burn 4 gallons so it was not full of fuel when I picked it up. Maybe nothing to you but Google reviews get read.Scott W.
Second time we have gone to the location off Silverton and Fisher. 1st time the guy was rude. We were told in a very rude way we had to have it back on 4 hours. We thought we had more time then that. The second time the truck drove very bad.Jesse F.
Ask the customer what type of electrical connection he needs on his trailer!!!!! and not install the simplest connection he has on the stock shelf. The wiring should be securely attached to the tow vehicle & NOT loosely run through the rear door where it might be damaged by the door latch!!!!GARY G.

The only problem is the amount of office staff on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I needed to set up my move out and waited in a line 6+ deep for 35 minutes with one lady working desk. The staff was very friendly, so this review does not reflect them, but getting into our rooms was a nightmare. We were supposed to have one large room and it was unavailable due to someone not moving out on time. So then we get transferred to two smaller rooms across the storage facility from each other. The second room that was "vacant" was still full of someone else's garbage so then we were transferred again to a third unit. All the while, our whole unload crew is following the worker around the facility trying to figure out which room we are actually unloading into. We were supposed to get our first month free for our one room... now we are left paying much more next month for two rooms when we were only supposed to have one in the first place. Terrible organization and keeping track of which rooms were vacant/in use. We made our reservation a month ago so it wasn't even last-minute. We would have chosen another storage facility if we knew about what a hassle this one would be. I will not be recommending :(Morgan S. | First Impressions
