Check in- I was told to use the app but it wouldn't work. I went to the counter and the clerk checked me in using the same reservation and told me to drop the key in the after hr a lot when I return. Return- I refueled the van to the same level and dropped the key. I received a call the following morning that they didn't have the truck. I told him it was on the lot and the key was in the slot like they told me. He hung up on me and never called me back to confirm they had the van. I called uhaul to discover they DID have the truck but charged me fuel and late fees. This location is completely disorganized.

I was checked in by the general manager. Despite the early Saturday am line, everyone was handled quickly, smoothly and pleasantly. The pictures of the van check in was great! Truck worked well. Mr. Davis on staff at this location was also an exceptional customer service asset and helped start the online check back in process. Smooth sailing.

The uhaul employees were friendly and wonderful. It was quite busy when I arrived to rent the trailer. They hooked it up but unfortunately, it was hooked up incorrectly and after driving away, I picked my husband up and we drove it right back because of the noise/jarring bumps, etc. We were charged for a day of use, which was the best they could do since we did drive it off the lot. They were nice, but it still felt wrong to pay $26 for not being able to use the trailer. I don't think there was anything the employees were able to do further, and this review isn't intended as a bad reflection of their performance.

Not a location problem but the Uhaul internet site was difficult to use i.e. down loaded personal drivers license three times, unknown to us until we drove down to pickup our truck our truck pickup location was changed, only one truck key was issued making us tense on our 5 day drive not to lock the key in the truck or lose it.

This is the only Uhaul location that I frequent. Expedient, friendly, and always willing to help. I used JR Moving, and they emptied a three bedroom house, and unloaded at another house. All in three hours! I have used them three times, and have always been impressed. Safe neighborhood to leave my car is a bonus on Sandy.

The guy was very short with me. When I asked a question about returning it after hours, he just said to read my paperwork. When I asked about the car Dolly not having a license plate, he said “Don't worry about it.” I did, the whole time.

I keep renting stuff from these guys and they are so great to work with. So easy going and helpful. I used to rent from a U-Haul on the Westside and they were so uppity and unhelpful. These guys, on Northeast Sandy boulevard, are the best. I highly recommend them.

When I got to uhaul, after using you guys 2 times prior with my same license. This time it wasn't allowed. We asked for a utility dolly and got charged for one but the employee never gave us it so we paid for nothing. And the end my bill is way bigger than it should of been.

I called and they had the trailer I needed. I arrived and waited only a short time and then they attached the 6x12 securely and safely. I used the trailer for the day and returned it. The staff unhooked the trailer and I was on my way. The service was very professional and efficient.

Customer service is non-existent. The truck cargo area was fine, but the passenger seat was covered in pet hair. If someone took the time to inspect the vehicle, I'm sure they would notice it. We rented 1 dozen furniture pads, someone pointed me to the rack of furniture pads, so I took one pack, but no one bothered to explain that one pack only contained 6 pads! Poor communication.

When someone makes a reservation in one store, make sure to have the equipment they are reserving and not be playing around other stores. I made a reservation a week in advance and wasn't able to get what I reserved. Therefore, I was sent to 2 locations to get a truck from 1 location and a trailer from the other location about 10 miles apart from each other. Which is a waste of money in miles and makes no sense whatsoever. Never using U-Haul again. This is the 3rd time this happens to me. Gracias.

First time renting a pickup here. The vehicle met my expectations. There was no line but it still took 20 min+ to check out a pickup. Also I specifically mentioned that I was planning to move dirt in the bed and the staff member declined to mention the cleaning requirements to avoid paying an additional $25 cleaning fee until I returned. I did a brush out and sweep at home but could have easily used the hose too if they had asked for that from the start. Clearly poor training or done with intention to make more money. I'll assume it was the first.

Your "phone-based" check-in process didn't work. I wasted far too much time trying to check-in the vehicle on your "web" application, to no avail. It kept asking me to scan the location "bar-code", which never worked. Restarted the device twice,and used different web-browsers. Have a currently updated Google Pixel 3XL phone, with a Verizon mobile plan in good standing. None of your usual IT-related excuses will cut it, I'm afraid. You suck.

The available storage possesses hazardous access and unstable equipment to load personal items. I would not recommend this type of storage if seen in person. Pricing is high, particularly in relation to the type of building and storage provided. Overall, the staff was quite friendly, but the building, storage, and parking is subpar.

The best thing about this location is its manager, David. He is available at nearly all hours of the day which made my experience much better, and I thank him for that. However, everything else (mostly related to U-Haul at the corporate level) was unprofessional and disorganized. I was told (by a very kind and helpful customer service rep) that I could move into this location after-hours. I spent hours trying to get in, and ultimately ended up having to wait until morning to move in, which caused me to miss a flight and take on the expense. I learned later that move in after 10pm is not possible, which I was assured would not be an issue over the phone previously. Upon move-out, I had scheduled a truck at this location for 8/1, but when I could not find the reservation in my app I called the location. The clerk told me that the reservation was for 7/31 for a "Frank" (my name is Jack) and therefore was cancelled for no-show. I was looking at the confirmation message for 8/1 at noon, which I told the clerk, who responded, "the reservation was for 7/31 and it is cancelled. I don't know what you want me to do about this". Instead of fixing the problem he suggested I figure it out on my own. I ended up getting lucky and finding equipment at another location. I have very little trust with U-Haul now. I know that my money is not safe with U-Haul and I anticipate losing money and time when working with this company. The employees are not equipped to properly solve customer issues. I will not be a returning customer because I think it's bad business to make multiple errors (similar problems have occured the last two times I have used U-Haul in Seattle and Chicago) and tell the customer to figure out what the company did wrong and to fix it themselves on their own hour and dime.

My items were stolen from my container. They lost my key when they changed my lock and I paid rent on a unit were I was unaware my things were missing. The phone representative was rude and argumentative and now years of memories are gone. Thank God the washer and dryer were to big to take.

Staff and facility are great. What was appallingly bad was my experience with your website. I made a reservation online and received email confirmation, but your staff could find nothing about me on the store computers. My account had vanished. Total waste of time and very stressful. I also ended up with a storage unit much more expensive than what I had reserved. I cannot recommend UHaul to anyone because of this.

It was nice having a keycard to access whenever needed and not having to deal with staff during Covid. The facility was temperature and humidity controlled as advertised. The storage unit was secure and easily accessible. Whenever I had to talk to staff, which was only during move in and move out, they were kind and helpful. Only complaint I had is one of my boxes had mouse poop on it when I moved out. I know it isn't easy to control, but that was kinda gross. At least none of them died in there.

This unit was not usable. We rented it without seeing it due to an emergency situation and arrived to see a unit that was a "stack unit" that I do not feel was adequately described on the website. We had to cancel our rental that same day and rent a unit at a different storage facility. Everyone at U-Haul was nice, though.

I could not be happier with my experience at this UHAUL location. Everything explained clearly and they were quite patient with me as I was very tired after arriving from out of state and moving in 90+ degree weather. I was disappointed when my reservation was for a unit that required going up stairs. Zachary was able to seamlessly check the inventory and change my storage space to the ground level. My phone was not working and I could not call a car service after my move and Zachary offered calling a cab. A great customer service experience all around!
