First the truck wasn't at the pickup location. Was an hour and a half for the rep to find me another truck. When she found one it was an hour away so it took me 2hrs just to pick it up. Then when I got to the pickup location they had misplaced the keys so I had to wait another hour for them to make a new one. The mileage included in the rental would be enough for ny move. But since I had to pickup the truck an hour away cause of your fuck up I went over the allowed mileage and was charged also.

Was recooked at a separate location than I booked online-When this occurs someone shoudl CALL the customer to inform him/them and provide options for other locations (not just and email). I was required to drive and pay for 10+ additional miles for my rental due to change in pickup location. This additional charge should be waived or credited to the customer

I was not informed my pickup location had changed to the Congress AVE location after waiting in line with slow response. Once I had the truck e erything was okay and I had a successful trip and turn in.

When I walked in the person behind the counter dropped their shoulders and rolled their eyes and there was no greeting. I started the conversation. But I do hear other's behind the counter say "How can I help you?" to other people. The gas tank was on empty for our 17' truck & when I alerted them no one cared. THey told me to fill it up and they would deduct the amount from my rental. I put in $20 and of course it was not deducted from my total. I asked for an appliance dolly. It was not with the truck. I had to go back inside a 2nd time for that. Again, no apologies from the representatives. Two days later I had to go back to the office because there were 3 charges to my bank account. Eventually they fell off. But a heads up that there will be multiple charges to your account, please call us if they have not fallen off by this (date). Not a fun experience. But we got a truck inwhich the engine must be dieing because it sputters to get going. You can see how exhausted I was to fight to get the gas I bought for the truck repaid. I just wanted to get away from that place. I don't think this is the kind of experience you want for your customers. Sadly I have 2 more moves to make & have reserved through the same location. I hope I don't have the same experience.

I was handled the keys and was told to handle the keys to this guy on the lot. He didn't want to receive the keys and told me to get the truck myself. I went to get the truck myself and when starting the engine a 3 bumps were in the back of the truck smoking and sleeping. Returned to the front desk and no one wanted to help. I asked for another truck, now the guy tells to go get the truck. I replied to get him for me. He drived like crazy almost hitting another cargo truck and told me he will get the equipment for me. I was waiting in the truck for him to have my truck ready. I was so mistaken as he dropped just outside the U-Haul office all the equipment I rented and I had to load myself. He told me that's not his job, replied that if I have any problems to complain to U-Haul. I question myself, why am I giving you business and have to stand all this no sense from people you keep having employed and they don't take care of of they handle your equipment or your trucks and don't even want to work? From various experiences with U-Haul, my truck was supposed to be good to go, equipped and ready to be picked up. This was supposed to be a mobile pick up at 6 am and had to wait until 7 am because for some reason someone make my order to be in person. This experience was the WORST ever. I will not be recommending people to use neither this location or U-Haul. It's not worth the experience and the money. This guy was super rude, he even handled me the card of the store so I make sure I make the complaint against him. THIS IS CRAZY!

They said they checked in the trailer Add about 5:30 in the afternoon… But it was not checked in until I came back in to ask about it the next day. The trailer I pulled down at your request and still have not gotten the $142 deposited to my account

The vehicle was clean but the passenger side mirror was broken and was being held together with tape. There should be a grace period for returning equipment, a few minutes late and you are charged double.

Truck overheating and worse customer service ever. Truck had a broken mirror and was missing the ramp which makes it very difficult for the moving.

It definitely was partly my fault. After I sent in the initial condition of the truck when we picked it up, we noticed that the gas was 13 miles from empty even though on the contract it said there was a quarter tank of gas in there. Nevertheless we took a picture of what the actual gas tank was showed it to a staff member and when we return the truck we left it at 35 miles till empty. Which was more than what we picked it up at and yet I was charged about $60 in gas penalties. That is robbery . I will never use U-Haul again. I'm done

Individual that attended to me gave me a 6x12 trailer when i reserved a 5x8, he told me my reservation was for 6x12, I explained that i was rerouted to this location because original location did not have, he then said i don't have a 5x8 when i told him to call Uhaul, he miraculously found one.

Absolutely horrible experience, the girl at the desk was very rude and so was the manager. Having a conversation while I just stood there waiting for her to finish my rental, the manager did not care and continued to speak about things that should not be said around children.

The worst experience w uhaul every. 1. Sent me to get a truck twenty mins away That's fine. Then I get a series of text and emails to pick up my AT in on glades rd in pohokee Fl, Called several days finally got to a live person told her it way out of my way by 1 1/2 hrs Asked her to find a closer one then sent me a text to pick up in lake worth Fl that's fine it's twenty minutes north. Then day of I get another text saying my p/u is pohokee nothing they can do about it because I said I would travel to get equipment. So I drive west one and a half hrs . Get to pohokee store ( sketchy ass place ) I go in at 12:30 guy says my uhaul will be back to hook up my AT. Well 1 1/2 hrs later I go in store ask wher he is. Guys said he's in NC and won't be in so I have to call traffic and find another. All though he had 4 AT ‘a Then they sent me to Daytona for the AT. Six hrs later and 100.00 in fuel for truck and my car that was already gonna be loaded but had to follow me all over Fl. insteadI I finally got it had to hook up my self, then clown walks over takes a pic and said he has to take a pic every time he hooks up an AT . But he didn't !!! Worst experience ever with uhaul. Look at my account I was loyal to uhaul but never again. I'll pay more and go w a different truck -trailer co. South fl traffic would not answer the line , then ya ask for call back & they do , to only hang up on you and not call back… then finally get a live person and super rude and just didn't give two shits about the problem. NEVER AGAIN, I should get a credit to my CC . I worked for Clark ave Uhaul's years ago and if I spoke to a customer like I've been spoken to by traffic, store person in pohokee and in Daytona I would of gotten FIRED. Uhaul you need to call me about this or just prove to me Uhaul just don't care just out for the quick buck at anybodys cost . The whole system failed y family.

I made a reservation for a trailer and truck that could pull it. When I arrived nothing was ready, they told me I needed to buy a hitch, they hooked up to a trailer without wires first, and then hooked up to a trailer that had busted welds on the side step. It was Jerry-rigged together with a blinker wire, which I asked the manager about and he said it was secure. It broke a few miles down the road. Before leaving the lot, an attendant asked me to move the truck while I was filming damage. I told him I'd move it in 2 seconds when I was done. He became irate and started yelling at me. He told me I need to consider everyone else. I told him he should consider customer service. He then yelled, I could be an asshole if you are being an asshole. The whole parking lot, all the customers and workers heard it. This is the least professional business and staff I have ever encountered. Anywhere.

We pointed out to the attendant that brought the truck around, that the indicator light for low tire pressure was on. He assured us that sometimes they just aren't reset and he had checked the tires and they were fine. There was a slow leak that we had to stop three times to add air for. It was a 400 mile trip for us therefore it was very inconvenient.
