The people I dealt with were helpful and friendly. The equipment was well maintained and easy to use. I recommend calling, I was given helpful clarification about the rental options and a discounted rate.

When someone requests a truck from one location and is sent to another give credit for the extra mileage and the inconvenience. I have a suggestion for all U-haul trucks install backup cameras it would make it easier for people to back up and I believe it would be a good draw for future customers.

The person(s) in the store were extremely helpful & explained things thoroughly. The prices were fair & they stayed open late enough so we could return the truck on time & finish our business in person with them. I don’t trust too many businesses but I trust these folks. I was treated with respect & fairly. Thank you for a great, hassle free experience during a trying time in my life. You will be recommended in the future.

Your new manager, Will was rude and unprofessional. In addition, he charged me a $50 displacement fee-that he showed as a “cleaning fee”-because I could not return the trailer on time, which resulted in my 24 extension of the rental. Its important to note I had originally reserved a 6 x12, but had to settle for a 5x7 and was not told that the 5x7 had to be returned in 24 hours to avoid a $50 displacement fee. I’ve been renting from this Streetsboro location for more than 10 years, but this time was treated like a new customer that was looking to rip off your company.

Not knowing how to hook up the triler, Adria went above and beyond showing me how to do that and helping me. She is truly a gem in your business. Unfortunately, once I had arrived at my destination, the porter checking me in found the equipment had issues. He pointed out the ratchets were both not working properly, and the hydraulic cylinder was leaking fluid.

Rental dealers and equipment were great. I set up UHaul moving help 2 weeks in advance for 3 movers, paid in advance, and followed up twice to confirm. At the time of the move they did not show up. They would not return phone calls. I contacted the help line. They could not contact the movers. They apologized, offered a refund, and suggested I use the service again to try to find more movers. I was lucky and found movers on my own. UHaul was great about sending multiple emails thanking me for my business, apologizing, and refunding money. However, I needed movers, not thank you's, apologies, and refunds. Buyer beware of UHaul moving helpers.

Gentlemen was very rude and called to say trucks engine light came on and says comes on all the time but didn’t advise me before taking truck.

I reserved the truck online. The truck was. It a available so when I arrived the manager made the decision that “I had qualified to a free upgrade to a 15 ft truck”. I did. It want to drive a larger truck in the city in driving rain. My only options were the larger truck or to drive 20 minutes to get the truck I had been promised. I did not have time to drive as I had a pick up deadline. During this stressful 35 minute delay a customer arrived with 10 ft truck that I was able to take. After 45 minutes I was able to leave. To reserve a truck and arrive on time and have it unavailable is not acceptable And then to have the manager act like it was a good thing for the customer is a disgrace leaving his employees to face angry customers. Over all a negative stressful experience that could Have need avoided Had I need told the truck was not available at the time I reserved it or any time prior to arrival so I could make other plans and plan accordingly. Poor poor service Your staff was great by the way

I grumbled to the UHaul rep about having to drive 24 miles to pick up the truck in Streetsboro though I lived in Akron with a multiplicity of UHaul carriers around, but everything worked out. I think the rep's name is Will. To him, I apologize for being grumpy when I arrived and thank him for the convenient drop-off location. Everything went fine.

I had an emergency situation where my car completely broke down and I had a Rent-A-Car to get home. I could not bring the trailer back to the original location and they charged me $300 to drop it at another location. I will never rent another vehicle from U-Haul ever again in my life.

She came out and looked at the trailer when we returned it and said she didn't really see anything. She said, "I suppose you could file a claim if you want to," as though it was no big deal. After travelling all the way from FL to OH I think it's a pretty big deal if something is damaged. One of the chairs is coming apart at the glue joints.

I’ve never been to a uhaul location that didn’t let you return somewhere else. So I had to use double the miles to take the truck back. They didn’t tell me you had to hit the unlock key to open the bed of the truck so I had to drive back to ask if something was wrong with it. The guy on the phone had no idea why it wouldn’t open. Then they didn’t even give me the dolly I paid for and didn’t realize it till it was too late. Then when I came to return the truck it took a half hour because they only had one person working and there were five people in line. I tried to do a return on my phone but couldn’t get a picture of both the odometer and the gas tank because the truck needed an oil change and the sign for it kept blocking how many miles were still on it. Won’t ever use that location again.

The truck was great! What I am upset about is that about 4 months ago I bought boxes from uhaul because I ran out of the ones I got from work! I would never recommend these to anyone!!! I paid for these boxes, I got the one's from work for free and all of my stuff in the uhaul boxes had mold all over my shoes and clothes!!Only the stuff in those boxes were ruined. I threw out probably 600 dollars worth of just my shoes and not counting the other stuff I had to throw out as well! Some of those shoes were brand new! SO the service and truck were great but I lost a lot of money and belongings because of the crappy boxes!!! Sad I spent money to buy them and they did me no good at all!!!

Clean the windshield of the truck first (many, many large dead bugs on the windshield) and fix the pavement at the entrance to the parking area (large pothole). Staff was clear, efficient, and helpful.
