This location has always had rude employees. Even with change it f owners a few years ago or new management. I don't know what it is, could be it's just Simi Valley.RANDALL H.
Staff was rude and claimed I had made no reservation, i had to give him the reservation number from my email, then was trying to charge me about 80 dollars more than what I had made the reservation for, and to top it off gave me a trailer with no ramp claiming that the trailer that had a ramp had a problem with the lights, this was on a friday night, minutes before closing time, on sunday when I took the trailer back, the trailer with the non-working lights was not there. I'm pretty sure no maintenance is done over the weekend. Online service is great, staff need some training on offering customer service. After all, is the customer satisfaction that pays their wages and keeps the business on float.JOSE C.

Van was filthy inside and out. Steering wheel was sticky. I had to sanitize it and the seat before driving. I reserved a week in advance so that the van would be clean and ready. I guess that was wishful thinkingâ€¦.. there are other places to rent vehicles from. Guess it's time to start utilizing themâ€¦ thanks for a poor experience.ANDREW H.

If the 3 checkout stations, two had credit card terminals that did not work for me. Staff kept having me move to new terminal until one worked. Brand new CCard. Good transaction otherwise!Stephen B.
I rent here often and it seems to be getting worse as of late. The vans are dirty, they are often out of gas when you pick them up, the staff can be rude and unhelpful. I've mentioned the condition of the vans and everyone just shrugged their shoulders. I'm not a complaining type person, but definitely would not recommend this place. The men that work there could use a class on gender based harassment. I dread going here but it's the only uhaul close to me,KIMBERLY T.

The person that checked the truck out was rude and rather uninterested in his job. Extremely unhelpful. The person who checked in the truck was more pleasant (comparatively) and would be rated average.ALI K.

Was told on the phone, and by a employee in store that a 15' box truck would work for a 10x20 storage unit in one trip. I was skeptical but my unit wasn't but 3/4 full. Well, it took me two trips with the truck completely packed. Cost me an additional $160 in mileage charged and after arguing with a employee about it, he only offered $20 off. Also rented a car trailer to tow a vehicle and after I ASKED if it will fit 33â€ tires the employee said no, and that I would have to purchase tires straps which they did not have in stock. I will not rent from uhaul againâ€¦KENNETH E.

Ensure the trailer hitch is correct for the ball on the car. Terrible job ensuring good fit and correct connection to make this a good haul. We rent uhaul trailers often and have never had this issueLISA W.

The furniture dollys, upright dolly and furniture pads were not in the truck and I almost drove away with none of them. The on-line check in was annoying and time consuming. The trick was used, had scratches all over the outside, and cigarette burns on the seats and paneling, but the photos I was asked to accept were of a brand new I scratched truck. The moving help never arrived. And the truck was very closed to empty-on-gas when I got it.Kathleen H.

Have employees that care. The person that made our reservation had short answers to our questions. We got the filthiest 15 ft truck on the lot. It smelled. The back was so dusty. I had to try and wipe the ledge. The driver door was hard to close. When we returned the truck, I told the person that it was one of the worst trucks we have ever rented. It was dirty and smelled. It was a bad experience. He just walked away. We watched as he didn't even clean it before taking it in the back.STEVEN E.

There is a concern that I wanted to share: 1) During pick-up the Gas was just BELOW 3/4 of a tank but the contract said 7/8 - so this was my first issue 2) During return I filled the gas to 7/8 as the contract indicated but the return agent wanted to charge me a GAS SURCHARGE. When I explained the short gas amount on the way out and then met the contract fill-return-goal, I said "NO-Way", to which the agent said, Oh, I'm sorry, I made an error and did not include the ~ ~ 17.00 surcharge, If it was only one issue I would not think twice about this but the short-gas amount on the outbound AND inbound transaction seems like someone is gaming the system at the customers expense. Would you please have this issue looked into as I value U-Haul and want to keep high-regard for this brand but this was a concern of ethics - I would appreciate a follow-up email to this concern - Thank you - Jules Kurtz firstname.lastname@example.orgJules K.
