The girl working the computer counter was very unprofessional. When I first came in she seemed bothered. She seemed to struggle to be able to get my paperwork together to be able to charge me for an order I had previously placed by phone . As she was struggling to help me she seemed like what ever text messages she was getting on her phone were of more concern and she was half laying on the desk that she sat in front of . I understand people have bad days but it seems like it was maybe more than just that. She needs to learn how to be positive and communicate with the customers to make them want to come back . I think she could use some training in customer service.

I was moving from California to Texas. I ordered one pod. It arrived 2 hours late. I put in to have it picked up on Thursday and was called to tell me they can't pick on Thursday so it would have to be Wednesday. I only had 12 hours to load it. This Pod was suppose to be delivered to my new home on Wednesday and again was called and couldn't delivered till Thursday. I had to pay movers for the day cause it was less than 24 hours notice. I then needed a 2nd pod. Had it delivered on Wednesday and to be picked up Thursday. I again was called and told they can't pick up Saturday. I had to pay the new home owners storage cause we didn't own the home as of that Friday. Your company cost me for all the delays. I called to see if I could get some compensation and was pretty much told tuff luck.

The truck I rented was not in good mechanical condition. The cab shook violently and the engine was not running well. It used much more gasoline than the prior trucks I have rented from Uhaul.

my only comment is I never got a call the night before to confirm my pickup location.. they told me someone would call me by 6pm. not noone did. I called at 7pm that night and thank goodness I did because they sent me to a different location that was on my reservation. The person I spoke to said sorry I am the only person working.

Uhaul recommended 6 containers. I filled 8, so I'm glad my mover that loaded the uboxes recommended 8. Not all staff were helpful or friendly. When my pickup was delayed due to a driver contracting covid, I would have expected more help from your staff. It seemed like an inconvenience to contact the other location that was trying to help find a substitute driver. Finally, I often received wrong information about where my boxes were physically located and the Charlotte, NC an Riverside, CA locations bounced me back and forth until I would get someone who was knowledgeable and could definitively tell me where my boxes were located. It took way too many phone calls to figure that out.

There seems to be a disconnect between some local offices and the corporate ones. We rented u-Boxes in Seattle and they repeatedly could not find the reservation. Eventually the reservation was duplicated and it was a hassle every time I called. The delivery in Palm springs was rescheduled by u-Haul twice which was unfortunate as we had flown in specifically to receive them at the address. The flights had to be rescheduled and a cost was incurred. We were told we had to be on site but the delivery person (and the person who picked them up) did not knock on the door, call or need anything from us.

Person behind the counter was very slow and obviously didn't care about customers. She stopped providing me service at least 4 times to take very slow, calculated drinks of her bottle water, just to show she she operates on her schedule.

For one make clear of no cash only debit cards w cash on it. I go to pick up w cash turned me back out had to get ride to atm and this is when I bacame late on move and was pushed back on time causing another day of rental and held back again to be able to make it out w out being forced to do like rent and extra day. The experience was tough and I did best I could do but the other issue is seeing I was charged more than what I should because I was under inpression that deposit for insurance that was to be reinburst

Courteous and very informative. They said, they were able to deduct the mileage to Irvine plus I had close to a 1/2 tank, when we picked it up, it was at a 1/4 tank.

Hemet Uhaul facility had wrong date and time on hitch order and installment. Also no trailer they were going to send me to Banning. Not happy for the inconvenience, time, and stress this caused. The lady that delivered my container in Maine Val from Brunswick Maine was awesome.

The riverside location was extremely rude and very unprofessional. They were late with the drop off and when called to ask where they were they said they were 2 hours behind than blamed me for needing to reschedule the drop off time do to their lack of communication and me having prior engagements scheduled for after the drop off time slot. Than they just showed up at my house to pick up the box without calling and the box was not ready for pick up. Thankfully we had stuff in the way of they getting the box or they would have taken it and we wouldn't have known until we went to load more. Very disappointed in the riverside location. Thankfully our stuff arrived and the Murfreesboro location had great communication.

I needed to make an equipment change at the last minute. The online customer service worked with that location to make it possible. We were lucky the store wasn't busy when we arrived because the receptionist was alone. She was very efficient.

We scheduled this reservation and upon arrival, we completed the formal check-in and was accepted... when we finally got to the truck (took a while to get our keys due to waiting) the 26' truck had an empty gas tank. I advised a uhaul worker that was walking back inside the shop of this and told him we're on a specific time schedule and need gas so we can take off and he was very nice and said to just advise the front desk Reps of this. I went back inside and advised the lady working at the front desk (she had glasses on) of this and I immediately felt like she didn't want to even help me and said "well you guys can go get gas and I don't even think we have gas" vs trying to understand our moving schedule and trying to resolve the matter by going to check if they had any gas. After her finally going to check stock of gas, she came back and said they had no gas, but clearly advised me that when we return the truck to bring it back with gas.... poor service from Uhaul on not having the truck prepared with gas for us when we had the pickup scheduled in advance which defeats the purpose. Along with your Reps poor customer service. Our pick was scheduled for 4:30 and we didn't leave until 5:20 ..... then wasted another close to 30 minutes to find a gas station we can pull the truck into to fuel up just to get us to our moving destination!

We had a very positive experience with the pods we had no problems once they arrived in the state we were moving to we were notified we picked them up the next day one of the time on the trailer that was provided by U-Haul everything was fantastic

Yes car clean, but the steering wheel needs alignment. A straight wheel is 1 o clock, not 12 o'clock. Extremely dangerous for inexperience driver, especially for a 15' truck. I'm glad the breaks worked well and AC too.

The associates were extremely rude. They didn't have the equipment that we reserved 2 weeks in advance and they didn't nothing to help or fix the situation. We reserved an appliance dolly, furniture dolly and utility dolly and they only had the utility dolly and told me, “we don't have the others, don't know why to tell you.”

Honestly the staff couldn't have been nicer & the manager Ed is wonderful. He painstakingly worked on releasing my car from the car towing device longer than he should've had to, as the chain didn't have much slack. He is clearly dedicated to his position there at U-Haul = pleasant, courteous & professional. As he was walking in front of me to unlock the U-Haul lock off my storage unit…I noticed Ed reaching down and pulling out a weed. I was impressed. Thank you for everything.
