Your employee ( David that said that he’s the Menager)call me stupid and the “s” word. The charged me 6 miles more , I left 1/4 of tank in fuel more then when I got the truck,that’s okay for me ,I don’t want the money for ! ( that it’s cheap so I don’t really care). But when I asked for my receipt,he said to me to seat down and wait cause he will send when and how he want ( very childish). So when I complaint about the way he was treating me he said “ just don’t come here anymore “s”.we don’t need you! I can be I a conference call with him and anyone from the company and repeated in front of him everything that I wrote here.

This location was huge compared to most U-Haul locations I’ve been to in my lifetime. Staff very helpful. Lots of selection. Easy drive in and out around main building. The way they had the inside check out area cordoned off with boxes to keep 6’ social distancing for the Coronavirus was ingenious. There were a few screws on the ground out in the carport area where I aired up my tires. May want to be more careful about that area.

The mobile pickup was weird. I picked It so i wouldn't have to go inside and wait in line, and when it was done in order to get the keys I had to go inside and wait in line... it didn't really save me any time or effort.

the drop off process (after hours) was so great! the process was easy to follow and the instructions on the phone were very helpful. was so nice after a long day of moving to have an easy, wait-free way to drop off the truck!

Guy that inspected the car told me he couldn’t help me and that on his paper it says I received the truck half full! Said I could do nothing about it. I have used U haul before and have never had an issue.

My only drawback with the experience was having to drive to a different city to pickup the right sized truck. Honestly though, that was probably my fault for booking so late and I am super thankful that they had one available at all. Plus, Customer service honored the $50 credit reservation change so my price was less than expected. Thank you uhaul. .

I had reserved this truck to be picked up at the Temescal Canyon location. When I arrived on Saturday AM, I was told that my pickup location was moved some 25 mlles away to the Riverside location. I went there stood in line for 45 min. and was serviced by a counter person who could of cared less and was a poor representative for your company. I told her that I needed the 12 protective blankets and not the two dollies. She took one of the dollies off but left one. Fortunately the drop off location realized the error and corrected the paperwork and charges. If I need to rent from Uhaul in the future I will not use this location and will go with your competition if needed.

It seems that the shop is understaffed. There were just 3 customers and it took me 30 minutes to get my vehicle out the door. Just 1 clerk and just 1 guy on the lot. The guy behind me just wanted some moving blankets and he was there for that same 30 minutes. And I was getting a truck that I had reserved.

The extra miles provided to me were not actually in your system at drop off (it says 48 miles). Yet the actual contract I signed and had a printout of from when I picked up the truck said 72 miles. Your system sucks as it should have show the addition of the extra miles. The lady checking me out was adamant that I would have to call customer service about this even though I had the contract in hand from Uhaul with the mileage. It wasn’t until I complained that she got the manager to override it. Was a waste of 20 minutes arguing about a $1.20 charge. Stupid!!!

I was not informed when truck was reserved that phones and phone numbers were required. The u-haul employee was simply following the script and not interested in being helpful. Since not getting the truck would have been much more problematic, I had to return home to get what I should have been informed of in the first place.

Less wait time, friendly customer check in or at least to be acknowledged, uhaul trailer was very dirty, should have been cleaned. Check in person(female) did not even apologize for long wait time.

I called customer service to make a reservation before going to pick up the truck then I get to the location and they tell there is no truck reserved for me. Not a single apology from the clerk instead she said “yeah sometimes we overbook” I’m sorry .. but for a company that is established like this it should not happen especially when you have a reservation and an order number!!!! I will never recommend U-Haul to any of my family or friends and I will never be back. Worst experience I’ve had

So crowded and employees did poor job handling crowd. Many mistakes were made with my reservation causing ridiculous delays and I'm pretty sure that I was overcharged

I was told I would receive a $10 refund upon returning the vehicle which was not applied upon filling the tank at a quarter of a tank. The representative questioned if I brought back the right car. When the rental returned was the one provided upon initial check out. I was also charged extra miles and was told I went over the miles which was not explained at the time of the agreement. The representatives need better training and customer service skills.

Return was a mess and could not find anyone

I waited over 30 minutes past my reservation time (which I took the time to make online) before I was helped. The representative did not know how to do the job properly so I had to redo the reservation on-site which made it over 45 minutes past my time before I drove out. On return, the representatives were rude and also seemed unsure how to do their respective jobs. This is in contrast to prior experiences at this location and sincerely hope this is addressed or I will stop using Uhaul permanently.

I drove the truck for 41 miles I filled it 4gallons of gasoline and you still charged me for 2more gallos I have a hard time to believe that the truck only make 6miles per gallons

I will be filing an official complaint with corporate. Where do I begin... This U-Haul experience was a nightmare from the beginning. I booked a Van for a rather difficult move 67 miles between LA and Riverside. I arranged for after hours pick up at 8pm. When I arrived the app did not work. I discovered it was because nobody had prepared my Van for me. Lucky I caught the workers before they ran home. They said they "can't rent vans after hours, but can give a 10 foot trick". I knew this would mean PAYING more and I did not need the space. After 1 hour of scrambling and fiddling with the app, I was finally given access to vehicle and began my 67 mile drive. I stopped for GAS 30 miles in because the truck had barely any when I noted that the truck had been left PAD LOCKED by the staff. With no way to access the cargo area and it being very late, I tried to rush back 30 MILES to the U-Haul of Riverside to get this damn thing sorted. Of course, nobody was there. The following day, I had to find a different U-Haul location in LA to get them to cut the lock off. The found that the truck had not been cleaned and was in fact full of moving blankets and NOT my moving equipment that I had requested. The end of the store was a $179 bill for what should have been a simple 1 day move. This is totally unacceptable.

I have rented equipment in the past and with in 2 weeks twice. The wait was so long. There was 6 people in line and only one person behind the desk. I waited 50 minutes in line and another 30 minutes to get hooked up to a trailer. When I came back with the trailer there was a long line. To wait to get unhitched and stand in line is unacceptable. There are 4 people working in the garage and one person eating in the office. One customer was so mad that she had was waiting 30 minuted to get a moving man. She said she heard the employee hooking up equipment went to lunch. I will go back to rent again and soon because you are the only game in town. I am 78 years old and I know now to take a drink, something to eat and a chair. The persons hooking up the trailers were very nice and said they were sorry we waited so long. You might consider to add more than one person behind the counter on this week end. The end of the month on a Friday or Saturday. That is when people move from one place to another. Thank you for listening.

Have enclosed trailers swept out before renting them out. It took 5 phone calls for us to confirm that the trailer that was dropped off after hours was received in your system. We tried physically calling the store for a physical confirmation of receipt of the trailer - but each time we were routed to call center. Very frustrating.

They had to change the contract 3 times for the truck and it took forever. Then when I went to pick up two dolly it was the same issue and they couldn't find the equipment. It took an hour just for them to find d the equipment

Rude customer service rep, my reservation had been moved 2x for location in 12hrs.stated that it sucked,he told me that I didn’t need to rent from them then.plus he was preoccupied on his phone when it was my turn and stayed on it out to my vehicle and back into the rental office, he then got off and was rude.Needed the trailer so no choice on my part.i have rented before and always had good service and accommodating people, I will rent as needed again , but not from this location. Thank you

This is no fault of the location at all, but I was not told that I would need a credit card to rent the Uhaul upon arriving at the store. That information would be good to know before someone makes the trek. What's more- not allowing people to rent a Uhaul without a credit card seems somewhat alienating. There are many people who do not use credit cards, and one could easily argue that a deposit or charges through a debit card are far more likely to be protected. Just a thought.

The pickup truck only had 6,900 miles and it had an overwhelming smell of cigarettes. The engine was also running rough at idle.

All of the paperwork was completed online, then when I got to the office I had to spend the time to do it all over again. Asking for the two references and taking pics of driver's license when all of that was uploaded previously. Ridiculous. The customer service was adequate.

Computers were down when I turned in my truck, 2 hours later I get a call saying I’m late and my truck is overdue , I had to go back up there . How do you guys lose a whole truck

The interior of the trailer was not swept and clean. The light coating of sand was extra slippery under foot although it helped slide a couple of things in the trailer.

They could have more staff on duty to better assist customers. They can also do better in communicating to customers who have prior reservations. I reserved my truck 8 am on January 2 and was not notified the store would not be opened until 9 am upon arrival to rent the vehicle.
