The gal behind the counter is friendly. I believe she might even be the day time manager, but appears to be overwhelmed due to not having enough staff. After checking in,paying for the rental of a car trailer, I went outside,backed my Pickup truck to one of the car trailers, and waited for a long time that was excessive. As a classic car builder,mechanic, and race car driver, know how to hook up a trailer to my Pickup truck. It isn't rocket science, A hispanic gentleman came out, and was visible upset that I had done this, and questioned me. I told him flat out that when I walked up to the garage to make sure staff saw me, walked back to my vehicle, and decided to do the job myself, as I waited for a half hour. I also gave hime a quick resume of what I do for a living. There is a definite disconnect at that facility. As a repeat customer, it isn't the first time that I have noticed/experienced this.Alexander I.

Me a broken box made it seem like it was my fault that you had to pick it up then you started charging my credit card for charges that were to be on a company credit card and then you turned around and charge me for storage of a u pod that I never had and you still have charged me $107 with no refund still waiting spoke to Fen the manager in Chicago he was absolutely rude and very unprofessional for a manager I would never recommend U-Haul and my family has been U-Haul people for 50 years and now never againCarrie M.

I filled up the tank because it was almost empty when I picked it up and not realizing how much or how little the truck would use, there was nearly 1/2 a tank extra gas when I returned the vehicle and Haul refused to provide any credits. They were perfectly happy to charge me a late fee though for returning the truck an hour late. Somehow that seems like pretty crummy customer service.MIRIAM E.

I am not worried about a measly $3, but I will say this. My initial truck had to be moved because of a fault on your end. I was told there would be no additional charges for the miles (which was about a 1 mile or so difference). As you can see I was still charged. It is about the principle ultimately. Make sure you guys (and those affiliated) stick to your word. Be well.Jordan J.

My Daugter and her family relocated to Georgia. She hired Mama Movers Anaheim Ca. 2 months late they only delivered half their stuff and kept the $9000 I am trying to get the owner to reimburse my coat I paid for 2 Uboxes. On the way to Georgia someone broke the lock off one of the Uboxes and stole some of my son in law's tools. My daughter and son in law have filed a claim with the insurance we purchased. Someone please call me because it takes forever to get someone to answer the phone. 9098168733. The cost was slight let higher than I was quoted also.Mark P.

The truck I had had an obvious exhaust leak. You can hear the leak and smell the fumes in the cab. We had to drive with the windows open or we would start to feel dizzy. The truck reservation process made me feel really uncomfortable. I was required to put in my credit card information and submit a copy of my drivers license online. Now I feel like anyone has access to my personal identity information. I used to enjoy the security of in store transaction for security reasons. I don't really blame the nightmare I've dealt with on the Riverside location. But more than a month after the trailer was returned to another location, and with no communication, I was assessed a fee of $817 for returning to the wrong location - for a $208 rental. Beware of giving U-Haul your credit card info: once they have it, they can and will do whatever they like with it.John W.

Horrible experience. I paid $317 and was charged an additional $309. I tried calling the Uhaul store I rented at and was on hold for over an hour and no one ever answered. This is beyond terrible service and I will never be using Uhaul again and will recommend all my friends and family avoid using Uhaul.Brendan G.

To be honest, this is the best UHaul location I've been to. I've been to maybe 6 or 7 different UHaul places in the past 10 years, and frankly, most of them suck and offer bad service. This location had a TON of merchandise available, well-stocked, and I needed some stuff which I got from you guys. Your staff were courteous and reasonably quick. Usually the UHaul staff seem angry that they have to work at UHaul or talk to humans or something, but the gentleman who helped me (last name was Ponce, I think) was solid. At one point, another staff person was yelling at him about a bucket, and that was kind of awkward and uncomfortable, but the Ponce guy was awesome both times I worked with him yesterday. If I have to deal with UHaul in the future, this is the only store I will go to unless I'm far away, none of the other UHaul locations can compete with you guys, it's a shame your locations is so sketchy.Erik S.

The process is very complicated and time consuming, even with reservation. I rented a pick-up truck and even with major credit card, picture of Driver's License and purchase of insurance, they still take of picture of you, as if you were a criminal. Equipment was dirty, and I mentioned it, but it falls on deaf ears, yet they expected it back nice and clean. Not a very pleasant experience. Thanks, Frank email@example.comFrank P.

Honestly the staff couldn't have been nicer & the manager Ed is wonderful. He painstakingly worked on releasing my car from the car towing device longer than he should've had to, as the chain didn't have much slack. He is clearly dedicated to his position there at U-Haul = pleasant, courteous & professional. As he was walking in front of me to unlock the U-Haul lock off my storage unit…I noticed Ed reaching down and pulling out a weed. I was impressed.
