The rental process was smooth and straightforward. However, I'm not entirely sure how a vehicle with a weak/near-dead battery is allowed to leave the lot. The delay of waiting for roadside assistance added an extra hour to our moving schedule.Daryl D.

I would have scored this higher but I was charged for fuel after I dropped off despite the fact that I filled it exactly to what it was when I picked it up. I will attribute this mostly to the chaotic pick up for this trip and the likelihood that employee misrepresented the fuel info in my account because they got nothing else right when I picked up the truck.Michael F.

I had made arrangements to rent a pick up truck to bring a boat from CT to Mass. Because the boat has surge brakes the truck must have a plug in that has a 5 prong versus 4 prong electrical connection for the trailer.. Customer service told me that they don't have a 5 prong plug in. II had to cancel the appointment for that reason ad made other arrangements. After doing that i stopped at the Weymouth MA uhaul store in Weymouoth MA and the worker there who works on trailers showed me how all their f150's have a plug in that accepts an adapter to take 4 or 5 prongs. He shold me the adapter and your customer service told me that uhaul doesn't have them. There was no excuse for customer service not knowing about this adapter. All it took was to purchase the$20 part at the storeBARRY G.

I was in a situation where I had to return the rental after hours. After a long day of moving and driving, we arrived late at night to return the van only to find that every entrance/exit/space was blocked with poorly parked vans and trucks. We spent at least half an hour figuring out how to safely park and return the rental at least nearby the U-Haul center without being blamed for an improperly returned rental. Thankfully there was no blame placed on us (to my knowledge) for how we returned the van, but I do think there are far too many trucks and vans at this location for what little space their lot has. There were also no instructions for where/how to properly return the rental for myself (and perhaps others), so maybe that was the confusion and why there were just trucks parked everywhere in every way possible. But it was a very frustrating and confusing situation to try and deal with after an exhausting day.TAYLOR L.
It wasn't the fault of the employees but the way trucks are returned after hours to this location needs to be improved. Trucks had been returned before us and were not parked in spaces but just scattered in the return lane blocking the spaces. Trucks were parked haphazardly wherever they could be parked in areas with â€œno parking signs.â€ I chatted online with your clerk who first ended the chat without resolution ans then didn't have the authority to give me directions that would solve the problem. The return system is also tedious- with all the photos you have to take. It would help to tell customers to look at the return system before returning the truck. Finally- this location is very dark after hours. We could barely see the return QR code to scan it and this other customer blocked is in.Wayne W.
Pro: The Uhaul team on the ground on Sunday, September 4th was phenomenal. William Mascarenhas was working the front desk and was checking-in 3 different customers at once. It was very impressive. Despite the line of customers and the general stress of moving in the air, William and the rest of the team were calm, friendly, professional, and efficient. Overall, it was a great moving experience. Con: I signed up for the truck share 24/7 option, but was surprised when I still had to wait in like to check-in. I was under the impression that with the share 24/7 I could bypass all of that. It would have been nice to know this beforehand because I ended up having to wait 30 mins to check-in at the counter.Marnie C.

I had to come to this location after my original reservation was not fulfilled. This happens almost every year and makes booking with uhaul my least favorite part of moving because I don't trust my truck will actually be there. The reliability is nil. I've been booking my u-haul trucks from this location and my experience is always good. The people who worked here are so responsive. Also, the truck I got was the new one so I am happy with the services. Moreover, when you done with the truck they have enough space to park it. We only clocked 6 miles on the van we used. We were charged for 4 Gallons of gas. There is NO way that we used that much gas! We were told that we didn't have to go into the office to return the vehicle (or we would have known this was not right) that we would be sent an email receipt. By the time I got the receipt and realized that we were overcharged, we were on our way back to NH. How can We get a refund for the excess gas charge?Christine F.

Despite reserving over a month in advance, they did not have any dollys or furniture pads. That's completely unacceptable! i needed a dolly to move and you screwed me over and had to scrounge around for one at multiple stores. the truck's visor was also nearly falling off.Shaun M.

I'll never ever in my life use this location nor uhaul again. This location charged me extra fees (stole my money $$) and gave me a hard time, after I had a reservation. The worst experience that I ever had with a rental company. Uhaul is a criminal organization, under handed & taking financial advantage and not being up front with their promotions, , and falsely advertising- a complete sham!!!Kharee C.

The staff was great and the rental process was mostly smooth and efficient. Horrible return experience on the app. The guided process for an after hours return made sense, but the app was not well organized and wouldn't process photos. A return process which should have taken 5 minutes max after parking the van took over 25 minutes to complete. This is not the first time we've had this issue - it's time to update the app!Hart A.
