1) There is no parking at the site; I was tersely told, "This is a rental agency, not a parking lot. Park across the street at Walmart if you are leaving your car here." That is across a major highway (50MPH) w/ no crosswalks or traffic lights and nearly 1km away. This is intolerable and an accident waiting to happen. 2) Your online web reservation is nearly deceitful in the way that it "defaults" to addons, from packing cartons to "extra workers" to unneeded insurance. Even after declining them all, in the final "express" check in process an $11 added insurance charge was *again* added in as a default and needed to be manually refunded. Totally underhanded.

When I call and ask for pricing I expect to be told the TOTAL cost. It was almost $100 more than we expected because we were not told of all your hidden fees. Returning I was ordered around like I'm some moron! Very disrespectful! I'll be contacting corporate as well as informing all on social media to avoid U-Haul Northampton as well as U-Haul in general.

The truck transmission was on its last leg. They up-charged me for equipment I didn’t rent and then wouldn’t take the charge off, and gave me an incorrect address to my drop-off location. It was far to expensive for what I got.

No parking, but didn't know until I arrived. All their trucks have hand truck and sack of pads strapped to cargo wall for a fee if moved. They were in the way; did not order them. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Fix the driveway such that it's clearer to navigate. Customers get confused and drive the wrong way making pick up and drop off harder.

I am appalled by the breech of contract I experienced. My email contract clearly stated I had the van for 24 hours, but when I checked in the attendant said I needed to return it after 21 hours or he could not rent the van I will be reporting this to the BBB and Massachusetts attorney general office. I will not rent from you again and I will warn all I know of your deceptive practice

All employees were extremely friendly and very nice. Even though it was an incredibly busy day there, they were all very professional and courteous. The van I got was spotless and in great condition.

It was really hard for my device to recognize the loaction. Usually my phone works fine with GPS but it took such a long time for uhaul to recognize my location. What a hassel.
