Nice location but lot was so packed it was difficult to park on the lot. I had to move twice to hook up and get the trailer cleaned. The tech was super!!! As soon as the muddy interior was noticed he apologized and cleaned it completely. So happy I had this tech taking care of me. Drop off was very easy. Again this tech was great.BILL S.

I booked 3 days in advance and got there and they did not have the blankets I had ordered. I feel they should have told me that before I got there and I was out of luck because there were none to be had. Plus, I wanted to add a dolly and they didn't have one of those either! Drop off location was great, customer service was terrible. Had to argue with multiple people after multiple hang ups trying to resolve an unknown contract change by someone within uhaul. The 7th or 8th person I talked to finally fixed the issueJeremy Y.
The hitch looks great and the price was not too bad. However, when booking online we received an email confirmation of our appointment. We showed up at the appointment time but they could not install the hitch because the appointment was not confirmed via phone. No one from U-Haul called me and there was no indication that the appointment needed to be confirmed via phone on the website. We drove an hour to get there. The New Braunfels Landa Park location has too small of a parking lot. It is crowded and difficult to navigate. An employee complained about there being stuff in the trunk of our car but we had no idea that hitch installs required trunk access. Communicating this prior to the install would be an improvement.Bret E.

Everything was perfect except: I rented for 18 hours, returned returned it after 5 1/2 hours at 3:30 pm, and woke up this morning to a credit card charge of $20 for an after hours return. I called, received an apology and a $22 dollar refund. While I am very satisfied with the resolution, had I not checked my credit card it would have carried.John C.

Location is on a feeder road easy to spot but very small lot kind of crowded with equipment feels as if you're going to hit something in the parking lot.Ruben M.
Offer to show vehicle and its features. Provide a walk through so customer can be familiar with operating the vehicle before leaving the lot. I felt abandoned (and therefore unsafe as an operator) when i picked up the vehicle. FOD all over the lot.gilbet F.
Fuel cap was not secured, so there was some fuel spillage right from the start. Exhaust leak into the cab, so i had to drive with the windows open. Lights in the rear section would not come on without leaving the ignition on, and the driver's door open (that shouldnt happen). Fuel level was not at 7/8's of tank it was at 3/4's.FRANK B.
U Haul needs to expedite providing more moving pads / blankets to this location. Appears they are faced with not being able to fulfill customer need. When we picked up they on had 3. When we returned a customer was needing more. The three I returned were all they had available. This location was great but seems odd they have a regular shortage of blankets (according to what we were told)Milton U.

They did not have all of the equipment that I had RESERVED! What good is a reservation if it's not there when you need it? And the employees didn't care whether I got my job done or not. It's a shameful and pathetic way to do business; but a great way to go out of business.Thomas B.

Getting the rental was easy, truck did the job. My problem is getting charged for after hours drop off, when It was dropped off a little after 5, and my vehicles dash cam proves it. Pretty shady if you ask me and it might be just $20 but I'm not going to let that go for principle.Cheyenne S.

Customer Service Rep Seth, was quick, precise, and friendly. He had the contract completed in a jiffy. Seth made sure the trailer was secured and set up properly. Location should always wash the truck and test all the features. One of the windshield wipers had to be replaced before I could leave. Staff was very friendly and helpful and quickly replace the wiper.Jordan A.
I chose this specific location because it said it still had mattress bags, I asked the white guy for some because we were missing some so he said â€œok, just a secâ€ and went to the back. He didn't return, I walked outside to talk to my mom, went back inside and he was just sitting there looking into space. I asked him if he found the mattress bags and he said â€œuhâ€¦. uhâ€¦. ohâ€¦. uhâ€¦.â€ and went to the back again. The entire process took at least forty five minutes and should not have. I will not be using this dealer location again just because of how frustrating the staff was.Marin U.

The guy I picked up the trailer from was trying to rush me off the property with the trailer. I took pictures of the trailer and asked for the trailer safety pin that's supposed to go in the trailer coupler. He said I could buy one. That was U Haul policy. I tried to explain he is wrong. This should be chained on every trailer. He just wanted to argue. UHaul is responsible for safety chains and safety pins on their trailers not the person renting it. The customer is responsible for the hitches and plug connections on and to their vehicle. Someone in Management for U Haul needs to step up and address this safety issue or the employee I dealt with at pick up. The facility lot needs less trucks and trailers for the property size. To congested. The employee I checked in the trailer with when I brought it back was professional and asked if everything worked and was okay with that trailer. I told him yes thanks for asking. I told him the trailers should have a safety coupler pin on them and per DPS they should not be on the road without them. FYI. I have a Class A CDL License and have be driving trucks and towing trailers much larger then U Haul has for 40 years and been in one fender bender. I would say that's a pretty good record and I know what I'm talking about.Dwayne W.

Start with doing an inspection of the equipment before giving it to the next customer. License plate light was out caused me to be pulled over. Second.. if a customer is paying $1.500 to rent a truck I feel like the headlights shoud be clean and glass cleaned inside and out. Windshield had a nasty film and foot prints on the inside and dead bug splatter all over the outside. The truck ran great but the mileage was not quite as suggested. About 2mi a gallon less. At between 63 and65 mph.John M.
