I bought the accident insurance because sometimes things happen. I had an accident. I got charged an extra $150 because I had an accident even though the insurance was supposed to cover it all. Basically my bill went from $150 for rental and milage and insurance to almost $300.Robert C.

I reserved two furniture dollies and upon pick up, I was told there were none available. I don't really understand why it's an option to reserve them if nobody keeps track of how many you have or what's available. I'm pregnant and without the dolly, I had a really hard time with the move. Otherwise everything was great though!Devin B.

Nothing particularly bad about this location, other than they were slow. But U-Haul, as a company, gets a thumbs down from me. They changed my pickup location twice, then called 2 minutes before my friends arrived to help me with the move to say that they accidentally gave away my truck and there were none in the area they could replace it with. To their credit, they did find me a truck at yet another location within 15 minutes. And your website to specify drop off time and location did not work for me, but why did I have to do that when I told them in person? And I tried to call, but there was a 40-minute wait. Who has time for that when they're in the middle of a move? And again, I had already told them when and where I was going to drop it off. Why do I have to duplicate my work?tamela B.

Rock, paper, scissors to see who was going to help me is not really professional. The tires were worn out and caused a really bad vibration on the highway. When I called the customer service line I was told to call the store I picked up the truck from and never was able to talk to anyone.david W.
Couple of things: I reserved online a week before pick up. When I went to pick up, was told nothing is guaranteed, due to website is not properly in line with the specific locations of knowing what is available and what is not. For example: I rented a dolly along with truck and had a difficult time getting one, due to they ran out. However, they were able to find one after about 20 minutes. Suggestion..when preparing the trucks for that day to go out. Put the equipment that was ordered in it and if equipment not available, a courtesy call to customer would be nice. #2: I was asked to take a picture of my driver licenses right there in front of employees. This process could be done when the customer puts in the original order on the website. I was doing this in a make shift office that was a garage.( office under construction) Overall, our rep. Was OK. He had many computer issues that prolonged the process of picking up. He had to reset computer 3 times. Before order actually went through.Jackie K.

The manager/ customer service was rude. My truck I had reserved wasn't available so I had to go with a smaller truck which required more time than I had reserved. I was running late and 20 min after the truck was due back the manager called and threatened me, saying they were were calling the cops and reporting the truck stolen. I ended up being 40 min late with the truck. The movers that I had hired through the UHaul were an hour late which affected my ability to return the truck on timeCozette S.

The 2 employees that were working were extremely unprofessional. They were fighting with each other the entire time I was picking up the vehicle. They took over 30 mins to process my truck which gave me only 1.5 hrs to get the truck back before they closed. They complained about their facility and how they wanted to quit. Also expressed frustration that their boss was never there so it wouldn't go anywhere if I complained.RICCI ANN M.

I went here to get a car dolly in order to pull my vehicle from WA to GA. I was told my lights were not working. Aftwr running around town I went back after finding another place an hour away who could fix it in the morning. Christian Redding however was kind enough to help find out what was wrong and fix the lights for us. It was a pleasure working with both him and Ronald Taylor in order to get our equipment and be able to leave WA on schedule. I would like to thank them both for helping my family out. I have gained some weight and shaved my head since i last took a photo for my I.D and the person who was checking me in kept bringing up the fact that it looked nothing like me and making it seem like i was using a fake ID or something. I rent from uhaul often and I've never had that sort of experience. And then saying that â€œnot even a police officer would think this was meâ€ in the photo and that she would make this one time exception and rent me the van i booked, when i have rented from this location many times before using the same ID. She was rude and offensive about it and i won't be using this location any more.Daunique W.

The agent checking me out was so extremely unprofessional. He was distracted to the point of multiple delays. He used the â€˜N' word six times while chatting with his coworker, and in front of my six year old granddaughter. I was mortified, insulted, and offended. As a teaching opportunity, it would be greatly beneficial to U-Haul to provide this young man with a extensive customer service and sensitivity training. I've only used U-Haul for my moving needs over the years, however, this experience, will result in my going elsewhere in the future, if not rectified immediately. Me not my family should never be subjected to this from an expected service provider.Tinamarie A.

Checked in online but still had to wait quite a while to get keys. When I approached someone (office closed for remodel, people working from garage bay) they had no idea about online check in. Next person told me my rental was already promised to someone else and ranted about how the online check in is a terrible option and meant nothing in regards to an actual reserved vehicle. Third person handed me the keys with no further communication. Found the vehicle at just over 1/4 tank of gas. Returned after hours online only to find out there is no key drop at this location so will have to go back the next day to return keys. Heres hoping that is trouble free. If I do use uhaul again, it will not be at this location.Michael S.

The guy at the location was great, but I asked for a uhaul in Puyallup which they said it was available in Puyallup, but got a call the next day saying that even though the 17 foot was available online they didn't have it at the location at Puyallup, so they sent me to Lakewood and had pay more for mileage and gas without a compensationBrian V.

I traveled 2 miles and the truck need gas already had to pull into 76 gas station before I made it to my home because I would of ran out of gas and the engine light stayed on. Told the attend what happened when I dropped off and he said I had to talk to a manager and there wasn't one one duty. I returned with more gas than it actually had. Really bad service.Miosotis W.

When two employees have a major disagreement in front of customers and one of those employees is uber condescending to the other, it is not only embarrassing to the customers, but more so to the employee who was the victim of the condescending aggressive employee.
