You can charge a standard rate across the board at all UHaul locations. The UHaul brand is nationally recognized, like McDonald's. And as McDonald's has the same product, same price at every McDonald's nationwide, so is UHaul by national recognition and product identity. This location seems to have significantly higher prices, possibly due to the proximity of the military base. The 5x8 trailer I rented was almost $300 for 6 day minimum, one way. On my return, I rented the exact same trailer from the drop off location, and the same 6 day minimum was only $119! I feel taken advantage of and never would have thought to shop around UHaul prices! Next time I will consider that as well as the competition.

Equipment was clean. Equipment could have been maintained better. The truck I used back door was hard to close and felt like the truck would pull to the right when driving.

After I had picked the truck and loaded it I had noticed the heater did not work, unfortunately I only noticed after I did pick it up and loaded the truck as I did not need to drive it very far from the pick up location unfortunately it was raining and my windows were getting foggy so I had to drive with windows cracked to keep the windows from fogging when I brought this to the attention of the attendant when turning the truck back in he just said oh that’s unfortunate and then just asked is it full. Was not satisfied with this particular rental.

Need more staff so won’t need to wait for long time to get done because every time I go there to rent I spend at least an hour and sometimes more to get done ! No waiting area you just keep standing on your feet !! I believe the owner wants to save some extra cash by not to hire enough staff for this location

Uhaul is going downhill. I understand the liability and loss from continuous theft. But the policies in place now that prevent nothing! And the attitude of the company is a shame. They wanted a 2nd phone number and wouldn’t rent me the trailer unless someone answered the phone as I stood at the counter. At 9am I said my wife is a doctor and at work NO she is probably not going to answer the phone. But I had to find someone else to answer a phone call for a 2nd number. It’s stupid. That does nothing from stopping from someone from stealing anything. Uhaul, I’ve used you guys a lot of times for business, never had a problem, taken care of your stuff. Sorry society is going this way but the company sucks

CHARGED ME FOR 1 GALLON OF GAS AFTER I FILLED UP AT THE GAS STATION DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET. HAD TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GOT IT REFUNDED SO THATS COOL.

I rented a 26 foot truck Friday and Saturday. On Friday it had a 1/4 tank of gas. I had to return it Saturday & recheck it out since I was told I couldn't have the truck for 48 hours which was certainly never explained when I booked the reservation. Friday night I pumped gas into it & Saturday when I rechecked out the same truck it was at 3/8 or a tank of gas & I was told I now had to bring it back at 3/8. This caught me off guard as I was the one who just filled it up. Don't you think since I received the truck at 1/4 tank, it should be returned at 1/4 tank. When I asked two people there why this was the case, they had no answer.

The truck itself was fine. It was of average cleanliness. While i do like the online check in U-Haul now uses, it does not appear that taking a picture when it is incorrect on what has been input does anything at all. The fuel was marked higher than what was actually in the tank. I took a picture and sent it in with my overview of damages and such. Does not appear that any changes were made to it.

It takes to long to complete your rental you got Ray Evan's helping a customer while the lady working with him was more worried about getting a donut and talking with Mr evan and the customer he was helping while there was myself and two others waiting the customer service for this store is always lacking it takes to long to get check out I believe I'll be taking my business else.

Very understaffed....not helpful explaining new check in system....or checking out the truck beforehand. I’ve had better experiences in other u haul places. And the total cost came out to double what we were quoted. However Melanie Paulon was extremely helpful in reservations. She deserves a raise!

Equipment we wented was NOT available and we weren't notified until we were on site. *if we had been properly notified we would have gone somewhere else. Employees were either not knowledgeable of the u hail website or unwilling to help. *which resulted in waiting in line TWICE and tempted to contact online support for 40 minutes. One of the employees had large headphones on while working; they were polite, but I found it very unprofessional and irritating. Found a set of u haul keys inside that didn't match the truck; employees were surprised when we turned them in, saying "oh we've been looking for those forever!" so I can only assume they didn't inspect the truck priar to our reservation.

Over priced service for what it is. Made the same trip from point a to point b twice. The first trip was two way trip and around one hundred dollars more...then the second trip which was a one way drop off. Was never properly informed about how the rates work....then after looking j to the rates don’t add up......if I pay extra for insurance why am I charged 80 to 100 dollars for driving an empty truck back to the starting point only 50 miles away. Always the second trip the ash tray was filled with cigarette butts and trash condensation and nasty....shit. Was in the cup holders. Then when I used the after hours drop of option......using the website.....was asked if the truck was clean enough for my trip I clicked no. And your website prompt me to a 30+ plus cleaning fee. Never using uhaul again

The online reservation process needs tweeking, you don't have a previous sceen button, so if you want to go back a screen, you'll have to start over and create another reservation.

I rented two trucks on consecutive days and each day that I return they charged me for fuel. The first time I fueled adequately but for some reason it registered just below half and they charge me 3 gallons. The second time I don’t know why I was charged for 2 gallons. Not happy

I fueled and at the station the gas measured above the halfway mark. When I returned the truck I was charged $15 for gas. Yes, it was barely below halfway when we checked, but as I walked out with the uhaul employee to check the fuel level she chided me for leaving the key in the truck. WTF?

They made me pay insurance and then after an accident they told me That the insurance did cover my accident. They gave me a dirty truck and when i turned it in they charge me cleaning fee.

The staff did not clean the truck out, they left their cleaning bottle, rags & small broom in the cab. They also said I broke the seal to the dolly in the back & used their moving blanket. I told them the seal was already broken & their were NO MOVING BLANKETS in the rear of the truck when I picked the truck up. But apparently that information was not passed onto the receiving staff or noted on the signing DOCS, when I returned the truck that SAME DAY. So yes I was over charged & treated as though I was. Lying customer trying to swindle a Fortune 500 company out of a couple of dollars, WOW!!!! I will definitely post this location & staff member’s, hopefully I can find out if it’s franchise & get the OWNERS NAME. Then it will be posted on ALL SOCIAL MEDIA FORMATS!!!

My only critisim is that my locationdesired and on my confirmation showed my Monroe location and if I had not called to confirm truck being ready I would have driven an extra 60 miles, as my agreed upon location does not have one-way trucks available, even though web site indicated Monroe WA was the origin location.

Educate more the manager that was there when I made the transaction. She was rude and very unprofessional in all levels. She didn’t have any courtesy whatsoever. I asked why she needed to call my wife early in the morning, a bit after 7:00 am and my son to confirm the phone numbers I had given her as contact numbers, I told her that the other person who attended me on Wednesday of the same week didn’t have to call me family and she gave a huge lecture about that and that she was going to have a serious talk with that individual. No manners to be at customer service Worst experience I’ve had so far when renting a vehicle anywhere in town.

Tried to return the vehicle after hours, the location option was not functional, forcing me to call the hotline. The help attendant walked me through the process, but told me to leave keys in the ignition at the end. I did so, and she said that my vehicle was successfully returned and my account was updated. Next morning while I'm about to go to work I get a call saying I have till 11 to be there in person to facilitate the retrieval of the keys. Obviously i could not make that time, and no account information from the following night was ever updated to my account. Because I could not miss work and the help lady gave me poor instructions, then failed to annotate anything, I was charged for the roadside assistance lock opening on the vehicle, as well as a line fee and an extra day. I have the email from the help lady to prove it. and i know you record calls, so that will also check out. Absolutely ridiculous.

The roll-up door was padlocked and I didn't realize it until I got to my destination. When I tried to put the key into the lock, it wouldn't go all the way in. I called emergency road service and was informed that they didn't assist with locks. I had a difficult time getting authorization to cut the lock off.
