Angel and Christan do a great job at this location
BRIAN FI received a rude call stating I will be charge for not returning my rental on time. 4 minutes after I received my emailed receipt. When I called back I was left on hold for 20 minutes. I returned the truck at 9pm the day before. With a rental until 8am. No apologies abs hung up on.
Tiana CReturned a trailer and it was never checked in. Per the Hispanic male employee , 5’5” skinny wearing chuck Taylor shoes who told me that he would check it in and email me a receipt. He never did.

Carlos AIf you check in online and fill out all your information when you get there the reps will tell you that they don't have that information and require you to tell them all over again so just be ready. Also they'll try to change what you ordered to upsell you - example: if you pre-ordered 6 blankets they may say "you wanted two packs of blankets right?" but two packs is 12 and would cost you double. If you know what you're doing and what you need you can get in and out no issue. If you don't you'll be at the desk with them long enough to need a chair.

BRIAN FInform your security that customers may sometimes drop off the rental trucks at night and wait for a ride. Standing on the streets isn't safe so your customers may stand by the sidewalk in lights. Please don't threatening them by calling the POLICE for TRESPASSING!! My opinion it's not good for your business.

Francisco GI always rent from uhaul for my small business. Their equipment always gets the job done whenever I have a big order. Kathleen MCustomer service staff was not professional. I returned rented vehicle on 03/06/2024 at 6:40 pm. Specially the lady who is working that time, she was so rude & non professional. She need to change her behavior. Picking time staff was so nice. Today’s The Maneger call me & solved my problem. Maneger was also nice. Thank you !

Linnio DI had a great experience renting a few trucks from the Hayward location for a local move. Everytime I move, I make it a point to go this Uhaul, there are closer locations to me but this one is the best. Their service is always excellent and they go out of their way to make moving easy for you. Izzy is always so kind and helpful and this last time Izzy and Fatima made renting a breeze. Definitely would recommend them and will continue to use their truck rentals and propane service!

LOREN SGET A NEW MANAGER AT THAT LOCATION, WE RENTED A 15' FOOT BOX TRUCK ON WEDNESDAY, SUPPOSED TO BRING BACK ON THURSDAY NEXT DAY . THURSDAY WAS RAINING ALL DAY WE COULD NOT FINISH TO UNLOAD NEEDED THE TRUCK ANOTHER DAY . WHEN WE RENTED THE MANAGER TOLD US DO NOT RETURN VEHICLE AFTER HOURS BECAUSE IF ANY PROBLEMS WE ARE RESPONSIBLE. MANAGER ALSO SAID THAT HE WOULD CHARGE US $100.00 IF RETURNED AFTER HOURS KEEP UNTIL NEXT DAY . FRIDAY MORNING WE CALLED THE LOCATION IN HAYWARD ON JACKSON TO TELL THEM WE NEEDED THE VEHICLE FRIDAY ALSO THEY BECAME UPSET THEY SAID THEY HAD RESERVATIONS WAITING FOR THE TRUCK . WE INFORMED THEM WE ORIGINALLY MADE AN APPOINTMENT AND HAD EVERY INTENTION OF RETURNING VEHICLE THURSDAY THE RAIN PREVENTED US FROM COMPLETING OUR MISSION SO AS WE INFORMED THE MANAGER " NO ONE IS GOD" WE CAN'T CONTROL THE WEATHER AND ALSO INFORMED THE MANAGER OUR MONEY IS GREEN JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.SO IN CLOSING DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE MADE GO TO A DIFFERENT U-HAUL LOCATION OR BETTER THAN THAT GO TO HERTZ OR BUDGET THE RENT VEHICLES THIS MANAGER IS A DISASTER AT THAT LOCATION. WE WILL 100 PERCENT NEVER WASTE OUR MONEY THERE AGAIN . THIS LOCATION IS A NEGATIVE 5 STAR

Paramjeet MI typically avoid city locations as workers are often disinterested and not as professional. However, Hayward was the only location where I could get the truck I needed so that became my rental location. I was very presently surprised. The staff was especially professional and friendly. Nice work!
