Once again, same clarification as above. I expect a return phone call to remedy the situation. When we drop the truck off there was no one to inspect the mileage or the truck, we rarely were told to leave the keys. This is completely unprofessional and it was unacceptable that no one was able to compensate us for the extra mileage that it cost us. Being charged for this extra mileage was adding salt to the ones that were caused by Uhaul. Call me immediately at 703-801-3531. I will be protesting these charges on my credit card.

Limited staff! No One ever greeting or acknowledging clients arrival. Or in my situation staffed memebers of three visibly. Two out of the three staff memeber were hanging around smoking and talking versus coming in and assisting the next client in line. Poor interactions with clients dismissive, and very unprofessional. Uhaul trucks need servicing and deodorizing. Also mileage meters and gas levels are never consistent with what was documented and presented at checkout. I have been a Uhaul returning client for many years abs the quality of service and support had truly changed, and it is so displeasing. ¡Gracias!

I saw a 20% discount online for nurses in september 2022. I called uhaul and was told maybe the locations offer discount so i called my falls church location to inquire and was told Uhaul never gives discounts. Very discouraging. My truck had 1/4 tank of gas in it when i picked it up. Real inconvenience filling the tank as soon as i picked it up and when returning it trying to get 1/4 tank. Would have been nice to have a full tank.

My initial reservation did not happen because the previous driver was late. It would have been nice to get a heads up before driving over. Then my reservation was transferred to another location. The service was okay until I ran into a woman who gave me such a hard time and attitude when I asked how to fix the gas reading on the paper, because it was not accurate.

The customer experience at this location was AWFUL. The young lady working the office had the worst attitude- shaking her head disapprovingly as customers arrived, swearing in irritation, not explaining when paperwork needed to be redone due to an error on her end. She was very unpleasant to deal with and soured the whole experience. The gentleman outside, however, was kind, communicative, efficient, and helpful. He needs a raise and she needs an attitude adjustment. Also, why do I have to answer the same questions/provide payment information both online when I make the reservation as well as in the office when I arrive to pick up my equipment? The repetition is painful, especially when the employee is less than delightful.

Everyone there was super efficient and helpful. When I arrived to the back of the store to drop off the 3 different dolly's that I rented, before I could even get out of the car, a gentleman was there opening my trunk to start pulling them out and even asked for my last name so that I didn't have to enter the store… very helpful.

Rear reverse geat video cam was not functioning. I waited an hours to talk to someone in the shop, but it was too busy, so I called the shop while standing at the location, someone answered and put me on hold and then hung up. Finally was told that there was nothing that could be done, no other trucks available. I thought I should have received some type of break on rental charges for having to rent faulty equipment.

My issue was not with this pickup location; my issue is with the fact that I was forced to find transportation out to this location (very far from my home, and I do not have a car) to pickup my truck rather than the close location I had selected. U-haul does not make it clear that you are selecting a "preferred" pickup location, and therefore does not guarantee that you will be able to pick it up from your chosen location. Note to the morons at u-haul -- Falls Church, VA is definitely NOT easily accessible from Washington D.C. And the people I spoke to on the phone at the regional office were insanely unhelpful and uncaring. Kept me on hold for 15 minutes with no communication just to come back on and tell me there's nothing they can do to help. I had to eat major costs (both money and time) on my moving day to pick up my truck. This is an insane policy for people who do not have cars and therefore cannot easily travel outside of metro. I will never be using u-haul again because of this experience.

I was given the car with no gas then, after leaving the car with more gas than I started, I was charged for fuel anyway. The dolly was also not already in the truck when I arrived for pickup. I need a refund for the fuel

Equipment was clean. Truck was very loud in the cabin at highway speeds. Steering has A LOT of play that made highway driving dangerous. Truck Shimmied at highway speeds throughout the trip. With the noise, shimming/vibrations, and fighting to keep the truck straight, we were exhausted after driving few just a few hours. it was a 11 hr trip.

They gave me the wrong cam. Asked me to drive back. The new van was out of gas. They told me to wait so they would fill it up. I waited another 30 min. Went inside and they said oh cam has been back and has been sitting there, I drive away and notice the van was filled less than half with gas. I called the location about this. They put me on hold. After 20 min I hung up. Just a frustrating experience.
