The only issue I had was when returning the truck, the Myuhaul app was not able to recognize my location so I could not quite complete the return after hours. However, I just put the keys in box anyway and followed up with an email and they took care of it all. It was a very easy pickup and drop off experience.

The so call “after hours service fee” is ridiculous! I drop off the equipment during at midnight and no one was working on site and I don’t see any extra effort or resource U-Haul is spending to deserve that $20 extra fee! Thumbs down!

Well this particular location is huge. Checking getting my truck actually upgraded 10’ to 15’ easy. Lady was super. Very very busy place, time of year etc....... But for this site to be so under staffed seems to be a little counter intuitive to the process. Anyway good folks, good service, good rate, and definitely satisfied.

Shout-out to Alanna Barton who corrected an error in invoicing, and did it with a smile. The crew at U-Haul Brighton is hard-working and super helpful. They handled a September rush day easily and are always friendly. You'll be glad you rented at their location.

I want to be clear- this particular location of U-Haul is filled with very friendly people, and I would certainly recommend them if you need packing supplies, storage help, or have general questions. The customer service of the pick-up location was exemplary. However, I cannot endorse U-Haul because of the scheduling office that handles reservations for this location. Despite reserving my U-Haul 5 months in advance to avoid any scheduling issues, my reservation was changed without my consent 6 weeks before my move. The customer service of the scheduling office was absolutely abysmal and offensively rude. They refused to make any effort at all to resolve the situation. I never did find out why my reservation was changed without notice, despite being promised a phone call back from a "manager" on three separate occasions, and their refusal to honor my original reservation wrecked havoc on my moving plans. Additionally, when I arrived at this location to pick up my moving supplies, I was told that they could not find my order in their system despite my order confirmation number and charge on my credit card. The packing supplies that I ordered were out of stock at this location, and they could not issue a refund because the order number could not be found in their system. DO NOT RENT A U-HAUL IN BOSTON IF YOU CAN HELP IT! In their words of their customer service representative, "you can go to New Hampshire if you want a van."

The staff was amazing! They (on the worst move in day with students returning to school) actually made me believe they like their jobs. I was so impressed by their professional and quick handling of everyone. Donna waited on me and Uhaul should be proud to have her as the face of your company. Jorge was great and everywhere I looked, people were on the ball. I expected the worst on move in day and got the best!!

The mobile app did not work so I reported the incorrect gas meter to two customer service reps. Each verbally said they would adjust the setting but it was not corrected and I was charged for gas. Uhaul recorder the gas tank at 5/8 fallout it was only 1/2. Need to have a backup solution when the app doesn't work on the cellphone.

Was in the same boat as the person posted: "Went to return truck. There was plenty of space in the lot, but one poorly-parked van and an employee’s car were about half a foot too close to be able to fit through. Myself and a few other people weren’t able to park our returns because of this, and we weren’t able to park on the street because street cleaning was about to start. The employee (who identified himself as the regional manager) was re-arranging trucks further back in the lot. Multiple people asked the employee if he could move one of the vehicles a few feet (there was plenty of space, and it would have taken him no more than a minute) but he declined repeatedly, giving the nonsensical excuse that he was too busy moving trucks at the back of the lot to fix the problem at the entrance (cause partially by his own car). He refused to offer any recourse other than coming back in a few hours (around 2 am) after he had finished moving all the other vehicles in the lot. Obviously this is a rough, busy day for U-Haul in Boston, but he made it worse for a bunch of customers for no good reason." I found the professionalism of this "regional manager" to be tremendously childish, selfish and outright rude. If there are other options for moving companies I would recommend anything other than U-Haul.
