Lindsay D.I had originally went to the jone location after ordering the 15' truck. when I got there, it was given out. I had to go to another location 8 miles away and then pay for miles after I had placed the order at a closer location. Not fair and I should not have to pay for that. Dropping off at the decatur location is confusing and needs better signing

The young man that loaded the trailer did not cross the safety chains and the trailer wasn't the assigned number given at the front desk since he could not find that specific trailer. Upon returning the trailer there was still no record of switching to a different trailer when I received a call back after doing an evening drop off the day before it was due back.

Matthew L.I'm reviewing as a normal customer may. I'm however an employee and was quite disappointed. Felt being an employee carried no weight at all. Having to answer questions about where a regular customer is staying is a must, but to push for an email confirmation when I'm an employee is really necessary? Then at the end when returning the truck, I had to fight for all employee benefits including mileage. It's easy to give the 20% rental, however mileage gets the same treatment and took forever and was done in a very awkward manner and took forever. Otherwise a very nice facility.

Called there call center, was told someone from the store I got the truck from, waited 3 hours for some to call back, no one ever did….ended up having to pay my movers $200 to wait. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I would like a refund of the trailer install fee where I ordered the trailer as well as the trailer fee itself. If not, I will proceed with further action. Gracias
Eugene W.I had the new metal containers but my friend that I recommended the service too got the old wooden crates. I recommend getting rid of all the old wooden crates and upgrading all the ubox to your new metal ones.
Vu B.Prospective U-haul customers be forewarned! Some important things to know: 1. Reserving something at u-haul does not mean it will be there when you go to pick it up. twice this happened in our multiple moves; "sorry, we do not have that here at this time" is their standard reply with their well trained reps reciting with scripted reasons. You must ask for a guarantee, and not sure that really works either. 1a. Thank heavens for Penske rentals! 2. Make sure the equipment is checked before you arrive. Multiple times the equipment had technical problems that took hrs to fix, delaying departures causing nighttime driving, change of hotels, changed travel plans, etc. 3. At major metro u-haul locations be prepared for horrendous phone and at site wait times. And for reps that are new to U-haul, and are poorly trained. 4. Confirm everything you are told, in writing. We received multiple instances of incorrect information adversely effecting our move. 5. Their computer systems are outdated contributing to long wait times, poor and misinformation. And their "systems" are not integrated. There are separate depts for Truck rentals, Ubox rentals, and other items. And they do not "speak" to one another. For example, It took the desk rep and general Mgr to get the truck rental and u-box transaction to completion. because of the problems he was encountering, their computer system couldn't do this transaction for some reason, taking a 1/2 hr to settle, contributing to a 1 1/2 hr wait to do what should have been a simple pick up - and receiving assurances fro their rep the day before; "Your'e all set, "nothing further is needed, you are checked in on-line" were the cherry words the last rep gave me (After waiting for 45 minutes just to speak with her). Drop off was the same...) read on for more. This note barely begins to chronicle the problems, mishaps, interminable wait times, bad and mis-information for our recent move - and amplifies our previous problems with U-haul. At EVERY step of the way of our move involving a U-Box, a car carrier and rental truck, there were huge waits, desk reps that didn't seemed to know their processes, long waits for supervisors, Reps that were reading from scripts and not answering questions put to them, calls to others to do what appeared to be simple transactional actions. And despite numerous calls, 2-3 with waits of 1/2 hr and more and probably totaling 3 hrs + for our move - no kidding and that was just wait time!) to reserve, pick-up, answer questions, confirm reservations, and other necessary actions required of a move. having learned from the several calls and multiple visits to 2-3 uHaul locations. Prior to pick up of the car carrier, uHaul box, and the rental truck, I received assurances from multiple Uhaul reps that "your'e all set", "nothing further is needed", "you're checked in" , the process was horrendously slow, reps did not know what they were doing, (they had to call out to others, likely supervisors/managers) to figure out how to complete the transaction. Waits for slow as molasses computers. As bad as it was for me, I pitied the long lines behind me waiting for their turn. This happened at the original pick up end as well.

nickalaus C.The only thing I wasn't happy with was the lady stated that my pick up time started as soon as she started entering my information. By the time she was finished and I got hooked up, I lost 1/2 hr. The time should start once you are hooked up, the guy hooking you up should start your time just the same as he stops your time at your return. He can do it on his phone.

LISA F.When picking up a trailer have tech secure said trailer to truck. Check all lights before leaving. The first location on Stephanie st in Henderson where the original reservation was rented my trailer to someone else. To travel to another location was inconvenient and gas costly. Decatur location customer service representative was excellent.
Jim S.only issue I had this time, was the hitch knob that you would normally press down on the metal tab, and turn it counter clock-wise - it was bent, making it extremely difficult to loosen it, I fought with it for at least 15 minutes before I was able to finally get it lose. Aside from that, the website check-in process worked, but only after a couple trys - at first it said I was in the wrong location, then after quitting the page, and loading it incognito, it found that I was in fact at the correct location.

Eric B.Great staff, very helpful, good at multitasking. They were very professional on the 31st when customers were berating them. They did not deserve that based on what I heard, the customers messed up and were blaming the staff. Impressed by how well the ladies all comported themselves. The Vehicle Transport I rented should probably be retired or fully rebuilt. Some of the screws/bolts were loose, and the tire straps came completely off the vehicle at some point during the drive. That means I was driving with an SUV on that thing that was held on by chains and god's grace. That is wildly dangerous. I reviewed footage I shot of the employee putting the straps on during the pickup. I reviewed the footage with an employee at the drop off location, and we both agree that he properly applied the straps prior to my departure. I never took them off, which means they just completely failed at some point during the drive.

I still have yet to see my credit back to my back for the partial refund they were supposed to issue! Over all bad experience.

When I showed up to my original location I was unable to get location services to work, I assume because I was in the wrong place. So I logged in and was able to see that I was in the wrong place. So I wasted a ton of time.

Denie R.so equipment actually broke( car dolly straps both broke) equipment was put together wrong and almost lost my car in traffic, needs alignment and still ended up driving it back myself and leaving my other vehicle behind 3 hours away and had to go back for them. People were nice but equipment malfunctioning and I was still charged.

My reservation was for different location and when I arrived to pick up the truck the check in system informed me I was in a wrong place and had to drive to another location. No notification or warning that my pick up location was moved by u-haul. Called customer service, they said “the system changed the pick up locationâ€. When I got to the new place the system said “no vehicle assignedâ€. That's where London stepped in to help, which I appreciate. Overall - a lot of time and energy wasted.

Lady at counter kinda rude...It was only optional to agree or disagree on the mobile app...Lots of police presence.. very overwhelming experience. No toilet paper in the restrooms..Overall it was alright for the price....
