Was very disappointed with service, was told I would have the auto carrier at the Crestdale location and was given the run around, did not fulfill their promises. Kept getting calls to pick up truck at different locations. Got the truck from Crestdale and had to get the auto carrier from S. Decatur. Chris at Crestdale was great and tried so hard to help me. Veronica even went over to S. Decatur for the auto carrier and they would not release it to her. Very, disappointed with the lack of communication.

While my overall experience with U-Haul for this move was acceptable up until this point, I was extremely unhappy with Antonio's service when I dropped off my rental. After spending two long days moving from out of state, dealing with a ton of stress and personal struggles, I was then made very uncomfortable by your employee Antonio. He seemed to think it was entirely appropriate to comment on the size of my body, apparently looking long enough at me to determine a sexist and outdated opinion. Antonio informed me I am “too skinny” and that I should “eat more” after I shared with him I'd experienced a case of COVID-19 two months before (in response to his question about exposure to the virus). His comment was completely unprofessional, made me uncomfortable, and upset me further after having two very long and very hard days. Does your company stand for this treatment of your customers? Do you want women to be objectified and criticized on your property like this, during your work hours from the employees representing you? Does your HR department not educate your employees on proper communication or do they encourage sexist jokes to be casually thrown around? It's 2020, this is completely unacceptable.

When you order anything from uhaul CALL THEM. The measurements online ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED!! The height of the trailer is NOT what is listed. The height is not important to them to list. The location reservation has NOTHING to do with what you have reserved. You will probably have to drive all over to get your reservation. CALL THEM THEIR WEBSITE IS BULLSHIT!

trailer had a damaged safety chain, which rendered it useless as a longtime Uhaul customer, i find it a hassle that I have to give the same info over and over again.

Charge an additional fee after I pre-paid a fee return the truck with a full tank of gas in perfect condition and was still charged additional fee was given a receipt for reimbursement but then charged again once I got home not acceptable

I've used this location ever since I had to move at age 20 (im 36) and my 11 year older brother has used this location prior to me being 20.. this visit with social distancing.. I was given a ticket I had 3/4 tank when I only had 5/8 and with the app I took a pic and had no problems checking back in at 5/8... I would say when I came in with my own car... the pic lotters stopped me from driving through... then i parked a 1/4 mile away n had to deal with them again walking back.... then got my truck right next to the lotters that I was still mad at getting in front of my car n got called slang names in Spanish... ill be there again because the company is solid and to my family but I didn't need today with the lotters.... n then worry about my car being left there (y I parked a 1/4 mile away)

I did everything online because it said that I would be saving 30 minutes. However, there was no special line for customers like me, so that did not save time. To make matters worse, the cashier/customer service person did not put through my order “as is”. Instead she added 2 extra charges, and then charged me for 2 days. I asked to have this removed, but she said i would have to come back and get it all fixed AFTER I brought the rental back. Great, I have to wait in 2 lines now. I came back and at least they did remember me from the morning. However, they were still unable to remove one of those charges, so i still overpaid by $14.99, at which point I was ready to just get out of there. That was a terrible experience, worse than any O have ever had at a U-Haul rental office.

The girl that helped me with the rental was a bit rude and had an attitude, but the guys receiving the trucks are always beyond nice and professional. It's funny because you'd thing you'd get a better customer service experience at the desk but you actually get better service from the guys checking/cleaning the trucks... 🤷🏻‍♂️

waited half hour for the padlock to be removed off back of truck...also had six men sitting on back of truck asking for work. on the property on the trucks. could intimidate some people. they used to be on the street. not now...sitting right on the back of the uhaul.

This was the absolute worse customer service experience I have ever had. I reserved a 26' truck over 4 months ago. Recieved a email notification to go online and resister, because the truck was ready to be picked up. When I arrived I was told there no 26' trucks available. Wow! After a long discussion I decided, because I had already arranged for someone to help me move across country to take a 20' truck. Which I found out after starting to load wouldn't facilitate my move. Needless to say I was not happy. I thought briefly to unload the truck and return it. However the plans I had made was already in motion. Uhaul offered me a 15' truck. I reluctantly took it to continue on with my plans. Eventhough it meant I would have to drive one truck and my friend the other. When I went to the location to pick up the 15' truck I was told I could not have it for the price I was quoted. After waiting st least 45 minutes on hold, when someone did pick up, they hung up the phone. Finally the next day I picked up the 15' truck. Worst experience I have ever had! Not only did I pay for the extra truck, I spent 2x for fuel and had to drive 30+ hours. Again, the absolutely the worst customer service! I will do my level best never to use Uhaul again. I was charged for gas when I made sure it was exactly where it was when I picked it up. It would be easier to just give Trucks on half tank or full it will be a lot easier. There were guys hanging outside like Home Depot parking lot. Didn't like that

This is my first time using UHall truck with towing my own car. I wasn't sure where to go to. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do when I pulled up there. I was told to detach it right there by the UHall worker who passed me by but he didn't help me. He thought I can detach it myself but I had no idea how. It could be my fault not knowing where to go or how to detach, but the guy I though he is UHall guy who actually came to help me was a homeless or jobless guy who hang out at the place. I wish UHall workers come out to guide me through. I learned afterwords that all I needed to do was just to pull into the building with my car attached, but I was told to detach there by another UHall worker. I didn't know. Due to this confusion, it delayed my return time and they tried to charge me for another day. It was solved afterwards so they didn't charge me. Also, I filled the gas too much when return (supposed to be 3/8 but I filled 7/8). I wish they give me some credit back. It was just my lack of knowledge of UHall system so please do not take it personal for those who actually assisted me. People who know what to do with UHall probably have no problem. But there might be someone like me have no idea of how UHall system works. By the way, the facility was clean, but it was not inviting or attentive. I think these jobless people who hang around there should be restricted. I actually paid the jobless guy who detach since he asked me money for his detaching service. I believe this could be prevented if actual UHall workers come out to guide me through, not just passed me by and told me to detach there which was not how I should have done to begin with. Thanks for the opportunity to express my experience.
