They rented me a storage with a broken latch I had problems locking and unlocking my unit I was charged an extra 10.00 a month every month for all asscess and couldn't never get in, I had so many extra charges and fees they couldn't explain. The location 1225 Montgomery AL Eastern Blvd is very unorganized, turn over staff and very untruthful, my storage was left open for nights due to my lock wasn't fixed I have done several complaints the store manager do not reach out General manger do not answer I have called corporate to speak with the General manager Boss and I'm still waiting, now I received an email saying my information has gotten out with my ID bankcard information and everything,( identity theft) I will contact the NEWS and a lawyer so then someone will hear this story.Sharanita M. | Overall Experience

The Uhaul truck was covered in ants and I was bitten several times while driving and so was my passengerSheyanna B.
The dolly I reserved wasn't in the uhaul and I was given an appliance dolly in its place and.was charged extra. I don't feel that was right since that was uhaul's fault.Thomas B.
Nicest, most professional Uhaul location I have ever experienced. Location is easy to get into and exit with plenty of parking. Efficient and smooth pick-up and drop-off. We didn't need them, but they seem to also have any moving supplies you'd ever need.Douglas P.

I had the Uhaul Truck Share 24/7 reservation. That meant I should NOT have had to go inside and deal with a person for anything!!!! The process did NOT work at all. Ince it got to the part about me taking my photo and uploading my driver's license, it STOPPED WORKING. The lady Shemeka on the inside said I needed to connect to Uhaul's wifi. I did that on my phone, and it didn't work. I tried my mom's phone, and still nothing. I logged in on my dad's phone and STILL NOTHING. Shemeka also told me as soon as I walked in that the truck I reserved online was NOT available. When asked about the $50 guarantee, she said, they don't handle that there. That has nothing to do with them. I would have to take that up with customer service. It was a bit confusing and frustrating!Rianna L.

The delivery of my u-haul boxes has been changed several times. I have been given conflicting information about what time the boxes would be delivered. I have wasted two entire day waiting on boxes to be delivered. I have had to change my schedule several times to accommodate delivery of the boxes, and at this point in time they have not been delivered. I loved my stay besides the fact that I had two locks on my unit when I left in March and when I came back in August I only had one left. When I asked the cashier about it he said "well that is a first". He was practically no help at all. I changed to a different storage facility. What would have made a difference when I moved out was for someone to say Thank you for being a valued customer for SEVERAL years and paying on time of not in advanced. I was late once but just a day. There seemed to be no appreciation for the customers. Those things go a long way. If you are going to have an "express" line, it's a good idea to utilize it so customers wanting to pay their bill don't have to stand in line behind all the rentals. The lady that cleans the facility is a true gem! She is the sweetest person and goes out of her way to show kindness to others. She does an exceptional job!!!!!!! Can't say enough about her. I rented a 5x5 unit on a Sunday. The site said there was one spot left and let me reserve it. I showed up on Monday afternoon with a truckload of materials from my classroom and was given a unit. We unloaded the entire truck and went to find our the unit. When we found it, there was already a lock on it. I went back to the office and told the gentleman. He walked to the unit with me and then said he'd have to call his manager. We walked back to the office where he called his manager. Apparently, the unit had been rented and there was nothing left in the size I needed. I was told I could rent the next size unit for $20 more a month. Given the inconvenience we'd experienced I think I should have been given that unit for the price of the smaller unit. I was told that I would have to talk to the general manager, but he wasn't until the next day. We had to load everything back into the truck with nowhere to take it. This was completely unacceptable. I now have no place to store my classroom items for the summer. I tried to return the lock I was made to purchase and the gentleman didn't know how to do it. We had also tried to have a propane tank filled and the man working wasn't certified to fill it. How can you leave one employee in a store who isn't able to actually run the store?Beth M. | First Impressions
