UHAUL of Wilmington offers excellent equipment rental experience. They had the 20' van I needed, I picked it up and dropped it back greeted both times with courteous and professional uhaul representative. I returned the truck on the same day (from 4:15pm to 6:50pm) at return time lady at the front counter said she will process the return in the morning as she was leaving for the day. Why should I pay for 2 days rental when she did not process my return. Need my refund asapMukesh B.
The manager Jamie was outstanding. She had a new employee (i could only tell as being in business I could see she was watching her to make sure - employee was very good, I wouldnt have known she was new). Jamie obviously cares abiout the business and takes pride in it. Has a contact cell # on her card and I catually needed to tect her late as got held up unloading stock and she extended my rental. Definetly would recommend this location and go back there (I already went back once for a second rental to pick up another Holiday order)FRANCIS S.

Felt bad for the ONLY employee there to assist other customers. He did a great job with and overwhelming task. I was the 4th of 4 people in line, and when I left, there were 3 more behind me. When I returned the equipment, the employee was still there working. This was almost an hour after the store closed. I hope you appreciate the help you have.James M.

I am very unhappy. My 15â€ truck reservation was not available. From a 4:00 pm pick up I had to have the 10â€ truck back 10:30 am. Not a lot of time and couldn't get everything in the smaller truck. The young man Chris that waited on me was ExCELlENT. He was frustrated ; as he said it always happens. The young lady I dropped it of with Patricia HAD NO sympathy AT ALL my my troubles. The brakes on the truck I rented were grinding and the abs break light was on , on the dash meaning problem with the braking system. Although the staff was very helpful and informative there was definitely something wrong with the brakes on the truck.david E.

The trailer tires were severely out of balance and the trailer with my car vibrated the entire 6-hour round trip that I has it on there. It was bad... We had to stop a few times on the trip to stop and take a break because of the vibration. Also, one of the strap latches was in very poor shape and took me about 20 minutes to get it unlatched as it was either corroded or defective. I never complain but was really dissatisfied with this rental this time. Was not offered any partial refund.Erik V.

Peggy was excellent. The store was packed with customers waiting and Peggy was the only staff on at that time. She remained calm, service oriented and was able to handle the pressure of the line of customers needing service. I can say you should staff at least 2 people at 8 a.m. on a Saturday or Sunday as this is a busy time for folks to move, to need to rent a trailer or truck.CARL R.

I was cheated by the ladies at the front desk at this location. I booked a van online. I did not select insurance. When I got there I realized I need a different size van. They agreed to change. I specifically asked if they are going to do a new reservation. They said they will not but just change the van type in the existing reservation. The lady at the desk had no experience on the reservation system. She was being helped by another person who was multi tasking with another customer. After everything was done I asked why the receipt they gave me showed $62.00. She told me that it was just the inital holding deposit. When I returned the van I was told that I would get the final bill. I never got it and my credit card was charged $62. When I went back after a couple of days they told me the receipt I got when I went to pick up the van was my final bill and they charged me for insurance. They have the worst customer service. Extremely slow service. Even simple things take at least 30mins to get done. I would not recommend renting anything from this location.SUBBA D.

The current staff were super friendly, but it is clearly obvious that this location is understaffed, based on wait times. I'm chalking that up to lack of labor (everywhere it seems). However, I'll continue to use this location for my rental and propane service needs.GREGORY L.

Attendant was not very knowledgeable ! Told me they did not rent one way motor cycle trailers ! Said the 5 x 9 was not set up to carry a motor cycle ! I went out side and looked ! She was wrong ! Needs more training !Larry K.
Double check equipment and make sure everything is in working order. The truck i rented had a broken left headlight and I could have been pulled over and ticketed for that. This is already after the inconvenience of having my original reservation never able to be picked up since the location was closed and the key was not left in the lock box. It wasted an hour and a half of my time, ended up costing me more money for mileage as well and ruined my evening plans as well as my wedding anniversary week.Mark T.

I was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas, but it really had 1/8 tank. I took a photo of the gauge and mileage, then immediately got gas and took another photo. I put more than double the amount of gas into the truck then I would have used. When I returned the truck, again, I took a picture. I spent nearly an hour on the phone the following day proving I did, in fact, purchase gas. Luckily I had all this evidence so I could be refunded the additional $68 I was charged for fuel. Truck felt like it was not well maintained. Extremely inconvenient.Marie A.
