the hitch was a little to used the side rail that you undo on auto transport would get stuck trying to pull down the feed for the tire straps was bad they couldn't get my car down it took over thirty minutes I had to get on the ground to help. The young man that helped me at this location did a wonderful job he was so sweet he made sure I was secure before leaving it was the equipment that needs maintenance or to be replaced.Madinah E.

I will say the employees were helpful and friendly, however, the Uhaul software system crashed right before I arrived to pick up my reserved trailer. We had to wait over thirty minutes before the GM was able to sign out my trailer. I had spent ten minutes doing the online check in prior to my arrival, so, in essence I wasted forty minutes on this check in process.jack H.

The UBox delivery in Half Moon Bay did not go as planned. The delivery service arrived 4 hours late. I had very little time to pack it properly. The UBox arrived a week early but was delivered to the wrong service center when it arrived in Charlotte. It needed to be relocated to the contracted site.DOUGLAS T.

They entered me as renting 84 pads when I only rented 42. The mileage was correct on the paper they gave me for starting out but at destination, the mileage out in the U-Haul computer read zero. So it showed me driving the vehicle for over 64,000 miles in 26 hour period. Still trying to get all resolvedRICHARD E.
Never got inside the facility as I dropped off after hours. I left the dolly and moving pads in the truck and was appropriately credited for those. I also left 1 unused small box and 2 unused mattress bags in the back of the truck. I had expected a credit back for those under the buy-back program but have not received those.Amanda H.

I was at this location on Sunday 4/3 - the man and women in store that day were both great. My personal car battery actually died in the parking lot, and they helped me jump it. They were super helpful.Margaret B.
The initial location we reserved at on Ashley Road was a complete wreck. Our U-Haul reservation had been accidentally given away to a walk-in renter that morning. Completely unorganized. We had to wait for an hour while someone desperately found us another and then had to drive to the new location. Complete waste of time, little apology and no discount or compensation for all the trouble. Wilkinson was organized, fast and helpful. Otherwise, we will never use U-haul services again.Haneen N.

The truck was leaking oil. When I told the store they said it was fine. If you know a person is doing a long haul and the store â€œintimidatesâ€ the customer with a 6$ per gallon charge. Maybe give the customer at least half a tank? The customer service is something that needs work at this location. The rep acted like she was doing me a favor having me drive extra miles to pick up the truck at an inconvenient location because â€œit hadn't been out in 13 daysâ€Kristin K.

I was supposed to pick up the truck & go with my phone. The truck was stuck between other vehicles & didn't have my extras in the back. Had to wait for other vehicles to get moved & for them to put furniture pads in the back.Adam M.

I would have given perfect ratings but due to the fact that my camper was stolen out of a secure facility and the fact that management(including upper management for not helping the staff) did not and would not review the security footage of the theft of my trailer. 2 months after the theft and 6 days of footage still has not been reviewed. Another bad mark for customer service for lying to me(that's a whole other story). I would have to add that the intermittent blockage of my storage unit by uhaul trucks and trailers was an inconvenience at best. The 24/7 rental process was terrible. The pages would not load and the instructions on how to complete the process were not clear. If I had not been helped by the staff at the location I probably would not have been able to get my rental equipment.Kenneth T.

My unit number 1439 was filthy when in moved in to it two years ago but it was very clean when I left it. All you did while I waited more than hour is give me some dumb excuaes. My only issue was that on move out day (Fri., Sept 3), the entrance was being paved and we could not pull the semi truck in. We had to park it next door and then I had to rent a UHaul van to get my household goods from the storage unit to the truck. The storage unit i ended up using was fine, however it was not the original destination. I had a reservation for one place when I arrived they couldn't find me even though I had a confirmation number and all the information. So they had no room for me. So after and hour and a half they sent me to a further location and weren't willing to compensate me any kind of gas for the unexpected extra driving. All in all, every person I dealt with was polite but said they couldn't do anything more for me, so I found it all very frustrating. My unit flooded and ruined over $5000 worth of my things. Management told me to file an insurance claim 12/30/2019. A year and a half later on 4/30/2021I was evicted for filing that insurance claim, after being there for 7 yrs. One thing to fix. My card didn't work and when I came the first time, it took 30 minutes for me to finally get bk to my storage. I tried to use the pin but that didn't work. When I came back this week, I was assured the pin would work but it didn't. I had to turn around and go bk to the office to get someone to let me in. We have been paying for a parking spot for our camper in this facility for almost a year. Majority of the time there was never any parking spots for us. There was always trailers blocking the pathways. Once We couldn't get by it safely not back up so the camper hit the building and took the awning off costing us $2000. Management was rude and did not care. Someone also stole the battery off the camper. This past Saturday was the last straw. We tried to pull in the parking lot and there was uhaul trailers and trucks blocking the road again. Couldn't turn down one road because someone is running a garage out of their storage unit and had the road blocked. So we had to figure out how to back up without ruining our camper again.
