Kathy VorehI came in to get a trailer light installed, the installing tech wasn't in that day so an appointment was made for 3 days later. I arrived on appointment date at 2 pm, and waited 30 minutes before I was told for some reason the parts was not in stock... they had literally 3 days to make sure of that. I had to wait another hour for someone to run to their huntington branch to grab it, then waited another 30 minutes for install, so I waited over 2 hours for what was a 20-30 minute job.

rafael floresI still have to contact the Customer Service though because I wasn't expecting for the amount charge. It's almost $200 ($194) to think that it's just used for one day ($20/ day). The uhaul has an unpleasant smell though and I feel not comfortable the whole time we were using it. Though i said Yes to both 2nd and 3rd questions but if there's a maybe or so-so answer, that would be it. Thanks

Othman AlsheshaklyOrdered a hitch on 02/28/2024 with an installation scheduled for 03/07/2024. Unfortunately, the hitch delivery to the site was delayed, and I received no prior notification. When I arrived for our appointment on 03/03, we were informed that the hitch had not arrived. However, I'm pleased to report that the hitch was successfully installed on 03/14/2024. While the overall process and service were excellent, I believe that better communication regarding any delays would have been greatly appreciated.

Sylvia PradoI was told by the front desk and got the contract detail indicating that the tank should be 1/4. However, my online receipt details that the tank should be 1/2. This is contrary to what I was told at the time when I rented the vehicle. I received the vehicle at the U-Haul location with the fuel bar just a little under the 1/4 line. When I made my payment, it said I will get an online receipt emailed to me which till now I still have not received. If you need proof, I have pictures of before and afters which I can provide.
Honam ChungDuring my process with the U-box, Haul customer service and their employees were very helpful and attentive to my needs. They were very helpful in explaining what I needed to do to get my u-box loaded and shipped to my location of need. Although the U-box was late, I don't hold them accountable due to the fact that it was the courier who was late with the shipment. I am very happy with uhaul and will be using them again.

Alyson travatoRented a trailer from this location and the trailer was unacceptable the axel or rim must have been severely damaged nearly broke my hitch off from the vibration and constant shaking… I rent utility trailer multiple times a year and never have i encountered such poor equipment from uhaul. Will see if they credit this long time customer for the abysmal service

Russell GrayLiterally the easiest and best storage facility I have ever used. It seems these days customer service is gone, not here! The manager Dan is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and he holds his staff to the same standards. No homeless people here, no rodents, no mold, no shady characters, no trash. All the things you typically find at storage facilities, are not here! In 3 yrs I never had any type of break in, never heard of one from neighbors, or ever even saw signs of one. That is people's biggest fear when renting a storage unit. You could lock gold bars in here and never worry about them. Cameras EVERYWHERE! Climate controlled, just an all around win. And way cheaper than the place next door. Cant go wrong.

The issue was with customer service not clarifying the month free is only valid within the same drop off location as the rental truck or else a ridiculous charge would be added. Though to their end, they tried their best to find an available storage unit as close as possible to our destination. Overall, considering what could have been a very stressful move, this location and the young man who helped us out (and clarified the different costs depending on truck rental drop off) made the experience pleasant.

Everyone under manager Daniel at Westminster site were friendly but they all didn't really seem together...one tells you one thing and the next one said completely opposite. The site Mgr was a bully, acted like he was only there to collect a paycheck. When a stand-lamp was stolen out of my unit he could have cared less. FLIPPANTLY told me ,"Didn't see a thing on tape," nothing more, just didn't care. He is rude. NOT MGMT MATERIAL. I FILED A COMPLAINT ABOUT HIM AND HOW HE PERSONALLY VERBALLY ASSULTED ME. HE IS REASON I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THAT SITE TO ANYONE. NO THANK YOU!

jada WASHINGTON | Overall ExperienceI signed a contract on a unit that was already full and they have no elevator. so after moving mattress and other heavy items by myself i get to unit after signing contract for a specific one and it was occupied and the next available one was being advertised as a 5x8x10 (it was 5x6x8) and they were listing it falsely. I am now going to be charged $125 extra a month for a bigger unit because Uhaul has no idea what inventory they actually have. Would give 0 stars if i could.

Stephanie Rodriguez | First ImpressionsTook 45 minutes to check in and only one person was working on the weekend. My movers literally moved my whole storage when I was waiting in line for get uhaul. After I returned my uhaul it was another 30/40 minute wait to return equipment and I saw the same people in line when I left. This is a billion dollar company why isn't there a more efficient way to get vehicles. At enterprise rental you literally check in at kiosk and get vehicle within minutes. I was talking to other customers in line and they said this specific uhual only one person is always working. Cashier didn't even do a walk around of the vehicle or look at gas and I just turned in keys/closed out storage unit. When I got the bill I was charged for not filling up and insurance around $85.00 that I did not ask for. I took pictures of before and after of gas and sent them to uhaul. Uhaul customer service only reimbursed me because I took photos. If i did not take them they probably wouldn't have reversed the charge.

I thought there would at least be an elevator to help and make it even more convenient but I was shocked to find there was none. They should have mentioned that there was no elevator before I rented it.

We came in because the agent in Dallas had promised something that was false. Daniel listened to our complaint and came up with a solution. JANNIE FARMER | First ImpressionsI emptied my unit clean. It was after office hours so I had to call in to close my account which is what I wanted anyway because of covid. The location never answers the phone and so everytime I called I got transferred to the company hotline. I spoke to several representitives who couldn't make contact with the location itself. Each time they put a note on my account saying what I was requesting and telling them to call me back in an email. They never called. Then I got billed for the next month and tried again. This rude representative said the only way I could close the account is to go down there in person because I had fill out paperwork. That was a lie. If I am at risk of covid I shouldn't have to go in to the location. She said I would be continuously "billed for the rest of my life" if I didn't go down there myself. There was no paperwork to be filled out. Your staff lied to me and wouldn't help me even when I begged for help.

jean hensley | Overall ExperienceAfter having a very stressful night where I was told Uhaul did not have a truck for me to rent, although I had a previous reservation, I arrived at the Westminster’s storage office the following day to be told I could no longer rent an already reserved storage unit under the same contract. I stood there mouth dropped, with a last minute 1day $332 Dollar Penske Rental truck, driven one way over 50 miles, loaded with every item my disabled mom owned. I was confused about having to pay what looked like close to $300 to rent a storage unit. However, “Captain Save A Customer” came to my Rescue. “Dan Desmond” is my Super Hero!! He swooped in and listened to me vent, heard my story and cleaned up a mess he did NOT create. Dan was patient, friendly, welcoming and got me a smaller perfect size storage under the previous contract. Also, while helping me, Dan went the extra mile to give another customer his own personal bottled water who asked to buy water. “Dan is the Man” and is a major appliance to Uhaul. He helped me trust in Uhaul again. Thank you Dan
