First time with Uhaul, first time moving in general. Moved from MA to CA. From the beginning, there were communication issues. We are an active duty military family and required weight tickets for our stuff. Half the time Uhaul had no clue what they were and the other half of they time they claimed they did, Our Ubox was delivered and we were promised a weight ticket for our empty box when it was picked up the next day. The next morning I wake up around 10 and the Ubox was just gone. Like with no warning, no heads up, no phone call, no notification, they just came and took it--we weren't even done with it I can't call the store because every "store" you try to call goes to the general customer service number that puts you on hold forever. Someone answers, i tell my situation they put me on hold to talk to someone else who couldn't help me and I was gong in circles. Like we woke up and our stuff was gone and no one said anything and there was no way to contact anyone about this? I was finally able to call the person who dropped off the Ubox the previous morning and she got in touch with the other driver to bring back the Ubox with the weight ticket we needed which looked like garbage. It wasn't even the original copy (we got a perfect full weight ticket later to compare) and you could even see the word "donkey" written on it like it was used for notes? scrap paper? which makes no sense at all. The driver did not seem to care about his job or the garbage he handed to me that was paid for which has to be turned in for official military reimbursement. Our Ubox arrived in CA and we receive an email confirming this and that we would be contacted on how/when to access our stuff. Nothing for half a day. We reach the facility and request a full weight ticket and are told "you should've told the driver you needed one to get it on the way here" because they didn't have a weigh station on site. No one told me the weight ticket process, no one told me how to communicate anything with anybody let alone the individual who was driving our Ubox across the country. I had been asking about weight tickets from the beginning and no one even made note on our order we needed them. It was like working with ten different people completely isolated from each other with zero communication. We scheduled (through uhaul) Moving Help delivery of our Ubox to our apartment the next morning and the only help they offered was to get a full weight on our Ubox scheduled for the following week...??? Tell me how this helps?? Obviously they don't care nor regard anybody as a valued customer let alone our service members. They pretty much said "tough luck", "not our problem" when we paid for their services. We ended up paying the mover the next day $100 for a weight ticket because Uhaul sucks at helping their customers. They said TO OUR FACES they would include dollys to help us move our boxes from the Ubox to our second floor apartment--nope, they didn't. It felt like pulling teeth to

I pickd up truck at 2pm and drop after 5pm store hours, specially asked staff what is after hour fee 20$ she said if your return after 24 hours then 20$ will be extra, i return truck same day midnight and charged 20$ which is not fair, the guy on the counter was so rude and rather explain to me was showing attitude like i am begging him.

I booked a pick-up location 20 minutes outside of Boston and received an email 12 hours before my rental time was to begin that I was to pick up the truck in West Springfield- 2 hours away. The email confirmation at the time of booking is not a commitment by Uhaul- they don't spell it out in the paperwork- they just screw you over when you have no other options. The pick-up location will be wherever is convenient for them.

It was not clear on the website that I needed to hire a truck along with moving help. Thank God someone at the call center was there to assist me in a time of dire need! I had the help , but no truck!

I wonder if I missed how to actually measure 7/8 of a tank of gas when replacing fuel. It is difficult to determine actual amount so I ended up filling up the van.

Get your stuff together. I asked for a truck with a ramp. Get to the house to move, no ramp on the truck! Made moving very very very hard. Not enough space to explain everything else you did wrong.

The staff at this Uhaul is exceptional and deserve special recognition. They are knowledgeable and courteous as expected, but what makes them exceptional is their kindness. The facility is very clean.

After 6-8 months of renting a 10X10 unit I downgraded to a 5X10 unit which costs $89.99.But after a couple more months I was charged $104.99 for the unit before Ins and not sure why? Never told WHY?

Everything and everyone are great. But the doors to storage opened before I swiped my card allowing anyone into the facility. Swiping the card should open the doors making it more secure.

My storage unit got flooded every time it rained, I kept all my belongings at this location while I found a place for my family and a lot of my belongings were ruined. Unexpected for this brand.

My only problem with the experience was trying to get in contact with someone in order to have my U-Box pucked up. There should better communication with the actual location.

UHaul makes it hard to get a full UBox back. (1) By 11am day before delivery still no time estimate, so cd not schedule movers. (2) No sameday pickup; storage units won't let it stay overnight.

I NEVER MOVED OUT someone removed me from the computer and I had to spend nearly 45 mins to check back in due to an employees ERROR.Ive rented here for 8 months now but my rent went UP with NO REASON

I didn't use the facility. I had two U-Boxes delivered/picked up at my location. There were hiccups, later solved, for delivery and pickup. For the latter, the driver never called to check on time.

The facility was in a convenient place for me. It was clean and I had no problems. The reason I ended my storage contract was due to recent charge raise.

I never received notification that my UBox was delivered to the site. I had guaranteed delivery on 05/26, and spent a month trying to track my box down. I found it MYSELF 06/20.

The facility was clean, well-lit and secure. Staff friendly and helpful. Payment of the monthly fees was also very easy. I would definitely rent space again from this U-Haul location.
