The vehicle I reserved was not available. I asked about the $50 reservation guarantee and the attendant said he didn't know what I was talking about. They did offer me a larger vehicle($39) at the same rate as the original vehicle($29) reservation but I was not credited the $50.michael R.

I made my reservation online on Thursday, 19 May. Friday, I called the store and asked if the trailer I wanted would be at this location. I did this because the last time rented a truck, I arrived at the location only to be told my reservation had been transferred to another store 20 minutes away. The representative told me would not and I would need to visit a different store to get the trailer. Good thing I called, right? No, I went to this other store only to be told that I needed to go elsewhere. Neither time, was an email sent or a text message sent. But wait, there's more. Read the drop-off comment.Dean H.

The Uhaul self-serve return website was inoperative this past Saturday night. I have rented the same trailer type a dozen times over the past year and completed self-serve return multiple times successfully, but this past Saturday night the Uhaul self-serve return web site didn't work despite multiple attempts. I left the trailer at Uhaul and took additional pictures. I called the Uhaul phone number, voice said over 1 hour wait, I waited about 45 minutes then hung up. Maybe it was a web site glitch and a lot of calls on a Saturday night.Paul M.

There was a issue with the gas refill was told I would be appropriately discounted and when I went to finish the transaction there was no discount and when I asked about it again was told by the attendant that told me it would be taken care of said there was nothing he could do. The reservation could not be found but obviously they had one they could rent me. When I loaded the car found the ratchets were seized up, therefore had to use a considerable amount of spray lub to get them to work The place they reserved for the drop off was closed. Called them and they sent me to another placed that was closed. Last place sent was open. .mike C.

I got everything and everything was delivered safely but there was a delay at every step. The box drop off was late, the box pick up was late, the box drop off at my new home was late, and picking the boxes up after my goods was delivered was late. make sure you correct mistakes i was overcharged in march because the drop off location was wrong. I told him Fayetteville Ga and he put in Fayetteville NC. Everyone makes mistakes just correct them i was overcharged 80 dollars and i rent with them a lot . I was rushing that day and did not check my receipt. I will rent with them again.MARION E.

I think it is a ripoff that you do not pro rate. I emptied my unit on the 27th by 8:3.0 am. My rental renewal date is the 24th. The 25th was Thanksgiving. I reserved a two bedroom 10x10 storage online when I got to the U-Haul store staff could not find my reservation I was given a 5x10 storage all my stuff did not fit into the storage I had to give some of my stuff away and store some of my stuff at a different location. After assignment to a storage unit, and after unloading the truck, went to my unit....and it was occupied. Moving is already stressful enough as it is, but assigning an occupied unit is just unacceptable. Even though they made it right, after me having to walk the premises myself, I found an empty unit, and I informed uhaul of their mistake. They comped me a LOCK for the inconvenience. Convenient location. Of no fault of their own, uhaul requires you to take a photo of the cleanliness of the return, as well as location verification. This can become problematic when you are 4 days deep in traveling, low on battery and low on gas. The perfect storm to make an easy return incredibly difficult. I wish I could have just talked to a real person but my options were: wait on the phone for hours or wait for phone to charge precariously as gas dabbled low.
