Customer service was poor was focused upon n their personal stuff trying get bideo fames to their colleague than talking to me
AJAY TOur truck smelled like gasoline. The attendant said I didn't bring the truck back with enough gas, but I had just came back from the gas station.

MARLON MMaybe offer a quick walk through on a van's technology. Much newer van than the car I drive. Couldn't start the van ( key would not turn) and took 4-5 minutes to figure out where the gas fill was.

TUNG NWhen a customer rents a truck to move to New York, it would be nice to advice that a truck can't take all the normal passenger cars routes and that they should plan ahead
EYAL MThe after hours check in process was a little complicated and I'm computer savvy, for someone who isn't, it must be a nightmare. 1. No clear instructions on how to check out, instead of scanning a QR code, maybe email the instructions & a link? 2. It was too much of taking photos, maybe just a video? 3. What if someone doesn't use a smartphone? How would they check in vehicle after hours?
ANNA ZThe pickup location was originally supposed to be at the Plainville location in CT. After arriving at the location for an early pickup the truck was not ready for us and the keys were not in the lock box. This pushed back our moving time by over 2 hours and I would not recommend u haul to anyone again.

Ralph WThe West Hartford location was a short distance from my previous place. I was able to call the day before and reserve a van for the time I needed to move. The customer service person was kind and answered all of my questions at a time that I was overwhelmed with all the details that come along with a move.
JESSIE SI don't remember the girls name, but she was phenomenal. She has such a wonderful attitude and was extremely polite and attentive. All of your staff at this location are well trained and attentive. I would love to write you guys 10 stars.
DANIEL CEveryone was extremely nice and helpful with one notable exception. On Sunday am when we picked the truck up the individual waiting on us was rude and very disrespectful. She was extremely nice to other customers whom I presume she knew and maybe they were regulars. I didn't catch her name but she did have a few nose rings. I would guess that you can figure it out. I just didn't understand her treating us so poorly.

CURTIS DYou keep your reservations for your customers. Don't say you have something and not have it and then send them to another facility and then when you rent from the facility, you're there for an hour because someone's training and then you can't even return it back to the place that you originally had the reservation at they totally inconvenienced me when I had my day planned and ended up taking me two extra hours

LUZ SUnfortunately when I called earlier in the day to say I would need a storage unit and would be taking advantage of the free month offer that came with my trailer rental I was not able to reserve over the phone. I did not ask specifically for a first floor unit since I did not realize there were second floor units. I was only told that both climate control and not climate control units were available. I was also told that I could not reserve over the phone and that it had to be done face to face. When I arrived in the torrential rains I was told about the availability of only second floor units. I then had to locate a first floor drive up unit at another facility which I WAS ABLE TO RESERVE OVER THE PHONE. I could have done all of this during my six hour drive so I was not scrambling and driving around with the loaded trailer in torrential rain.

Spencer BAfter reading about U-Haul's self-proclaimed wonder that is U-Haul TruckShare 24/7, I opted to use mobile verification for my truck pickup. After 25 minutes of delays and being harangued about additional contacts for approval due to an out-of-state license (which wasn't listed anywhere in FAQs or info during checkout), I finally got a response to my request for verification - I was denied! So I then had to walk into the store, get in line, and work with someone to get the keys and be on my way. The best part though, I had reserved the truck for 4 hours. I was told I needed to have it returned promptly on-time despite the fact that 30 minutes of my time had been wasted dealing with poorly staffed mobile verification and under-staffed on-site personnel. This left me with only at best ~3 hours 30 minutes to complete my move. The last thing anyone wants on moving day is this level of added stress and annoyance. The U-Haul TruckShare 24/7 is something I will certainly NEVER do again.

Audrey EWifi was not working and made picking up the truck a disaster. Had to call corporate and wait 45 minutes to speak to someone and finally was able to get the truck checked out.

SALVATORE TThis is the comment for the Hartford location. I had to leave Hartford on Capitol Avenue because you employ very angry person who is yelling at someone else when I walked in the door I told him to stop yelling and it escalated to this young man threatening to go into his car and get a gun. I did not press charges because I was fearful that he would know my address and retaliate. Disgusting! Shame! I'm still considering calling the police about this behavior. And I'm definitely writing a formal letter to the main office and calling the local news company. Terrible ordeal. And when we attempted to drop it off in Boston, we had the same type of man with the same type of behavior he didn't wanna deal with me. It was the end of the day he told me to just leave the keys on the seat and they didn't even check it in until the next morning. This is not only unprofessional, but someone could've stolen this vehicle and I would've been liable your company has a lot of housecleaning to do.

That hasn't seemed to be possible for the past few years. We book several months out, so we feel that there should be a way to have a trailer available in Plainville.

Aaron CTrailer had no jack stand. Vehicle towing the trailer broke down and U-Haul had no option as what to do with trailer. Wanted $800 dollars to change drop location. Total scam. Will choose another option next time when in need of moving items.
MARC RThe storage unit I reserved was the suggestion from U-Haul when I reserved my 20ft moving truck. It was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient to show up to unload the full moving truck with a three bedroom house worth of stuff to be given a literal closet (10x5). The facility was able to upgrade us to a 10x10, but this is still not even close to enough space for the amount we needed to store. This turned what should've been an easy move into a nightmare, where we had to drive to family houses and move our items into two different basements.

Anne GIt should not be mandatory for all drivers of rental equipment to have to be physically present at the time of rental. A copy of the driver's license and an emailed photo should be adequate. Also, not everyone has a phone that has a QR code scanner or that can download an AP to be able to access your Roadside Assistance.

I dnt think a storage should be using for anything other then storing this man had the hallway always block on Saturday. Because he said he packs bags for the homeless I understand is a good deed, but not use storage facility for it. Gracias.

Each time I went to this facility every team member was curteous and helpful. Alitza who is the manager is awesome. She definitely is an asset to Uhaul. She was extremely knowledgeable in the process of moving. She was able to give me some helpful tips. I would definitely use the West Hartford facility again.

Without knowing who speed in the building behind me I called the number on the facilities card and put them on notice about what happened. She was knocking on the door and disappearing and doing weird things. Then she ultimately tried to accuse me of something called bath showering or something like that. I told her to end my contract and I left. My experience was bad there.

I highly recommend your storage facility. *Would recommend a sign for people who do not know to get out of car & push garage door button to get out of building. There was a couple just sitting in their car so confused the door was opening for them. Also, 2nd floor unit did not have any covered ceiling it was open and could have been climbed down into. I noticed the unit next to it had chicken wire on top. I purchased boxes & lock too. Very convenient and reasonably priced. ¡Gracias!

Size of room and location within facility were very convenient for me and served my purpose well. Only downside of the facility is the steepness of the entrance from the road, I had to take it slowly to not scrape the bottom of my sedan. Vans and trucks and SUVs have no issue with it.
