Was in and out in no time at all

Friendly service and very very slow. Wait in line, then wait for the clerk go through screen after screen, muttering about slow computer, requiring three phone numbers. Why can I rent a $40K car at Enterprise in about 10 minutes but it takes 30 minutes to rent a $2K trailer from U-Haul. Making the reservation online saved no time at all.

I’ve been to this location many times and NEVER had a good expectance they are just the ones that always have the truck i need. for the first time in 3 years i was actually treated like a customer should be treated and taken care of, i didn’t have to wait for 20+ minutes for someone to come out of a room, i didn’t have to watch your employees trade services for BEER, i was greeted as soon as i walked in the door, the guy pulled up my info and got the truck for me in and out in 10 minutes, it was GREAT. when i returned my truck it was the same guy and it was the same thing

I felt they should have told me that if paying cash there would be a $100 deposit. On top of that they insured me that I would get my deposit back after I would get my cash deposit back once I returned the truck ... only for me to make it there n them not offer me my cash that I gave but instead a check.. so they called around to see what they could do to get the cash back thst day .. which caused me to be late for work I was in a new town and already low on cash from the new move.. bottom line the biggest inconvenience of my life on top of that the did nothing to compensate my time or effort for almost getting me fired for being 2hours late for work... just NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRUST THEIR SERVICES ... my check out guy was really nice tho

When you send pictures for authorizationg you should actually take pictures of the machines currently. I rented a truck and trailer in the and of january in the midwest with snow everywhere. The pictures that i approved of the equipment were taken and grass and sunshine and blue skies. No visible sight of snow anywhere. If the whole point of the pitcures is for insurance and to be able to tell a customer if the have or havnt damaged the property then mandate the pitcures be taken jn front of the customer.

Was there on Dec 15 and Dec Dec 22 and each time during a pickup and return I have had the best experience! Money was extremely non existent to my wallet and they didn't give me the rental for free but they made darn sure I was taken care of..I could cry just writing this...Those ladies and gents went well out of their way to make sure i was satisfied. With me moving so close to Christmas, I spent tons of money to do so, not even able to provide a Christmas for my family. I didn't go in there to tell them my sob story, but they probably read my expressions and concerns with cost and so forth and made sure I was handled to their best ability. Those guys on W. Kimberly will never understand how those little gestures made me feel and I definitely appreciated being greeted the moment I walked in, with not just a simple hello, but as if they were glad as heck to see me, but not over doing it, just being themselves. Thank you thank you thank you for everything your great customer service will not go unnoticed!

When I rented the truck I told the store associate that I would not have it back in the time that was on the contract. I was told it would be fine and then I got charged a weekly rental. I paid over $230 at the time of rental and now am being charged another $200. I hd to rent the truck to deal with getting my car fixed and getting to work whims it was getting fixed and I feel like I'm ferrying taken advantage of even though I'm a regular customer. You'd think I could get a better deal.

There was only one counter person helping around 4:00pm on a Friday...not complaining we had to wait...but he was pretty busy. I wished he would have stopped, taken the time and spent 5 or more minutes to go over the Uhaul and all of its features. Mainly because there is as sticker on the dash that says TURN OFF TOW/HAUL when not filled or on ice. And the sticker says to go to the back of the van and find this feature and I could NOT find it at all. So, I drove with it unloaded and worried with the TOW/HAUL light on. Please make sure they spend a few minutes to review the vehicle. I even had to ask how to open the back...and had to ask for my dolly and blankets. He was too rushed.But he was nice to us though.

Every employee at the Davenport location made us feel welcome. All our questions were answered to the final detail. Checking In van and trailer, getting a storage room all went smoothly. When we were filling out storage area we ran into the cleaning crew who were all happy and friendly. Employees seemed to be hired on personalities not just someone to fill a spot. Very refreshing .

Straps were over tightened. Not sure if U-Haul employee or customer did this but it was extremely difficult to get the straps loosened up so my car could be loaded. Took 25 minutes to undo.

The 10' Van was a horrible running vehicle! The ignition wouldn't turn on the first attempt, took MANY attempts to get it to turn. When starting the van it had a sluggish start. The Service Battery Light came on and stayed on. The passenger side windshield wiper worked improperly, would not go all the way down, stuck 1/4 way down. The driver side window hand crank did not have a knob, making it hard to roll down the window. Thank goodness for the friendly staff at this location or I would NOT recommend to anyone!

Had to drive 50 plus miles out of the way to get the truck and 50 plus miles back to drop it off. Was informed less than 24hrs before my scheduled pick up that the rental place I was getting my truck from closed and no longer rents hauls. Will be calling about the extra $150 it cost for the move.

The after hours drop off requirements. The site wouldn't let me finish the questionnaire and was so frustrated i dropped key in mailbox instead of key box without realizing. And not everyone has service on their phone to attempt the proccess so the $20 fee is ridiculous.

The only thing that annoyed me was this : I was a day late paying the rent, and my son called to say th at uhaul was looking for me. No one even called my number.
