Long time to checkout due to your "Driver lic pic" links not working. Staff refused to find alternative once I made it clear I was not interested in UHaul having digital copy of my DOB, DL # and Home address. No documentation able to be provided on how long you keep this information nor how to request on how to get it deleted. Asked for "A few free miles" for additional time it took for staff to check me out due to not finding reservation in system and YOUR app ( not working on TWO different browsers on STOCK android phone ) malfunctioning that requires your overly aggressive Lic policy. Staff just laughed at the idea, Great customer service. You have NO mention of this when making a reservation and are only one of two other rental companies I have used in the last 6 months that requires this. Candy bar wrapper and empty water bottle left in vehicle behind passenger seat from previous renter. Staff refused to bring vehicle up to front when it was raining outside. Getting spam emails ( this one ) despite never requesting to sign up for any. Being told to check my vehicle out via text. Then sent text after renting vehicle that I will be charged $20 if I return EARLY after hours BEFORE you open next day and don't do more work for you for free. Worst part is after a year of covid, new more contagious strains coming out and cases on the rise you still have TWO employees indoors walking around without one. One was helping an elderly man at the counter with NO MASK ON AT ALL! NO plexiglass NOTHING. What is wrong with you people ? Lost a customer for life. I don't care if budget or hertz costs a little more. I would rather NOT give you my money in the end. It's idiots like this that don't take it seriously putting strangers in the hospital and killing others.TIMOTHY S.

The employee seemed bother by my request for service. When I walked in and started in quoting about renting a truck, the employee was on his cell phone and continued to text. The guys in back that loaded and unloaded are the ones that made me give the good review. I just wish I would have got there names cause I would have called about them. They where both so friendly and easy going that it made it such a comfortable time. They both talked to my about how I am doing plus where very clear with with explaining what they where doing. Then when loading the trailer the gentlemen made sure everything was working perfect for me and that I was comfortable with it then when I dropped it off that gentle was the same very nice and wanted to make sure everything was good and that the trailer I rented worked well and that I had no issues. The gentlemen inside the building that did the contract was nice also but I always expect that from the front end guys. But for the guys that work the back to be so friendly and nice made the expierance a lot better. So a huge thank you to them and I will defiantly come back next time I'm in need which won't be to long Please let them two guys know if you can figure out who they where. Cause there deserve to know they are doing it right.KELSEY S.

The door on the trailer was damaged, causing the latch the be hard to work. The staff was aware of the issue, because when I returned the trailer the staff worker stated that all I had to do was pull the door then maneuver the latch into position, then pull the door and latch at the same time. I don't see how you can charge a $5 safe trip fee. Will I get the fee dropped if I'm not safe ?? This is a unreasonable charge that was never explained to me. I will rent elsewhere from now on if you feel it's ok to place random fees to boost your revenue.BRAD B.

When you make an online reservation, the truck your renting should be free & clear of snow & pulled up waiting for you. The lock on the back of the truck was frozen so it was extremely hard to put the code in just to get the key out. The truck was completely frozen. It was below zero out & I had to brush snow off the front of the truck, start it, & let it sit until it kinda of warmed up. That was completely unacceptable. Not to mention I had to go find the truck I reserved in a lot full of trucks in below zero weather. The truck was in a lot next door to the uhaul store so I had to still drive around to the store & pick up the appliance dolly. They could've at least put the dolly I reserved with the reservation online in the truck. I literally wasted an hour before I was able to drive off the lot.Sheena N.

The employees at the location of the storage facility were helpful but I had to take a day off of work to drive there in person because no one ever picked up the phone at the location. Every time I called I was rerouted to an offsite customer service rep that would state they couldn't help me because they didn't have access to the accounts at a different location. Tried chatting online and was also told that only a rep at the exact location could help. Leaving messages didn't help either. I would get a voicemail with the general number to call back and no one would pick up again. Tried calling corporate and would sit on hold for 30-40 minutes at a time and then have the same experience. While the face to face employees were helpful, the experience I had moving was horrible with this company. I had to go between 3 locations to get a truck and storage facility and then the size that I ordered wasn't available even though I had paid for it online with a credit card already. Miscommunication from the company only created more issues with trying to relocate out of the area. I have driven over 200 miles extra to deal with issues from moving and using the storage facility. My experience was fine with the staff working at the time but I was highly frustrated with the fact thtmat the 10 by 15 I had reserved had been rented to someone else. I rented a unit online that would be large enough for the contents of a one-bedroom apartment. When I got to the facility, I was told I'd need take a cart back-and-forth to fill the unit, which I'd never had happen before. I ended up having to rent a different kind of unit I could drive up to. I reiterated that I had furniture and boxes from a one-bedroom apartment. When I got to the unit, it was only big enough for a few boxes. I feel that the prices are very high. The facility hours could be an extra hour. There is never enough staff always have to wait. I ran late four important reason and when I got to the facility I wanted to make sure that I could check out before the staff left. I think they should have oh way that they can access the key and let you be able to still use it since technically it is my last day until at least 10 or 11 because technically it still is my day instead I was locked out from being able to leave and the gentleman inside the desk was not helpful to my friend who went to tell him to let us out. Luckily there was a another employee that was outside other facility that was able to access and help us leave but we still had a couple big things to pick up and we had to leave it outside of the gate because of not being able to still have access. I don't think staff should have to be there to make sure that the unit is clean if I'm paying . They should be able to clean it out the next day that should be their job. We also rented a truck at one point and it is really misleading when they say $19 and some cents for a truck but by the time you include the miles and the hassle of bringing back the truck it was not a quick drop off there is a procedure and very time-consuming I feel that it is very expensive. I guess in a time of need and no one else has a truck a person has to be convinced that this was going to be an expensive rental and realize that they have to close their eyes about the expense of the truck.
