Had a pickup via self service system for 12:30p. Online system wouldn't work and went inside to get help. Michelle, the GM had a sign saying to call her because they are open but she is in the building. I called her 7 times, leaving a voicemail the one time it let me. Either no one answered, the phone was screened or it was answered and then immediately hung up on. Looking at security cameras she was no where to be found. I tried to get help for 45min and nothing. Another customer was there for longer than me trying to get into his storage unit and nobody was there to help. Later came to drop off the vehicle and the instructions directed me to put my key in a lock box #3 that didn't exist, or least we couldn't find. We went inside and called the number for a different employee. He refused to come up to the front desk and kept telling us to just leave the keys on the front desk. When I asked where lock box 3 was he just kept saying to â€œignore itâ€ and leave them in the desk and that he'll â€œget to it eventuallyâ€. Poor experience all around, will not be coming back to this location.Alex J.

I was pleasantly surprised with this location. I had tried one other and they had me call the main line they set up a reservation. Once I got there the women helping me was so nice explained everything and answered every question I had and gave me a card to call if I had other questions. I recommend this location highely! The website is very slow when checking different storage locations. The filter and search functionalities while allowing some filtering options is still in an early stage functionality wise. I didn't find the mobile pick-up to be very convenient! Too many steps and too time consuming. I had also entered license pictures ahead of time and had to do it again for the same driver upon arrival. Finally, I had to enter two additional contact people in case the equipment was late, which was excessive.James W.

The staff person working did not communicate well. There was confusion regarding the insurance coverage. She explained it several times and my sister, nephew and I were all very confused about the coverage cost. She also told us the keys were in the truck and sent us on our way. After searching for the keys and not being able to find them, my sister went back to the office to talk to her and couldn't find her. There was no one else working. She finally appeared and came out and showed us that the keys were in the back of the truck. To get in, you had to open a combination lock. When we asked what the combination was, she said it was in the paperwork, like we were just supposed to know all of this. This all delayed our trip 15-20 min. The truck itself had bald tires and slid around in the snow, and smelled like cigarette smoke inside.Laura J.

We consistently find that the U-haul offices are severely understaffed - to the point where the wait time for pick up or drop off of the equipment takes an extremely long time. We have had two recent u-haul rentals. In both cases we had to wander around toe facility to find someone who could, in one case give us the equipment, and in the other, could accept our return of equipment. Even though we did our reservations on line there was all kinds of paperwork to complete upon our arrival at the rental facilities. When a staff member was at the desk, we had to wait while others who had done on line reservations completed this work. Only one person was there to help, even when the line assured very long wait times. My 7:00 am rental time resulted in a 45 minute wait to get a storage facility rental completed. A 7:30 pick up appointment for my small rental truck from another nearby facility didn't get me on my way for another 30 minutes. U-Haul needs to streamline its check out arrangement with both more staff and a more thoroughly complete on line rental agreementBruce S. | First Impressions

The only negative comment I have is minor. The wi-fi coverage at the check-in location was spotty which caused me to have to repeat some of the check-in steps for the Truck Share 24/7 multiple times.David K.

It was horrific. The owner was not even at the store and the woman behind the counter at the gas station gave us the keys. Did not go over the contract OR make us sign anything and made us move multiple vans to get ours out as it was boxed it. Did not have keys correctly labeled. Implementing the use of technology particularly wanting me to download an app did not have the effect of simplifying the process. I created a username and password, had it verified, but when I logged in, it said it wasn't there. Plus at the location, the internet connection was not reliable so it took them a long time to go through the process.Jeffrey F.

There was an error made to the mileage of the truck on my contract compared to the truck actual mileage. And my attendant Bennett walked with me through the truck and made sure the gas tank and mileage was true to the contract and he and I caught the oversight together and immediately he made it right and contacted Michelle his manager who worked hand in hand right away even though she was off duty to fix this for me the customer! I felt special I felt cared for and I felt protected! I would hands down say this made my experience even better than if everything was just so in order! I'm blessed to have gotten to see this first hand the teamwork to help the client! Great job U-haul team!Amanda A.

Customer service could have been better. I was told to use check in on my phone when I arrived to pick up the equipment. It was not working. Also when returning the equipment, I was told to do everything on my phone which was also not working. The way those things were handled could have been better. Was informed I could not check in and had to use the app asked where to pick up they keys and was not told. Our vehicle was not where it was said to be and still had signage in the windshield we had to remove. When attempting to return the vehicle we had an issue where my phone had died and I was unable to complete the process. I was pointed to a sign on the front door which had QR codes by the woman working there. These QR codes led us to advertisements! I was forced to troubleshoot the process by myself. The lady who checked me in, Sarah, said part of her computer system wasn't working and she had to take a photo of my driving license on her cell phone. I feel very uncomfortable about this because now she has my personal information on her device. If my identity is compromised I will seek further action from U-Haul.SARAH S.
They took extra money from my bank account. I was told one price for estimate and it had gone up by $5 and some change because I went 10 miles instead of the estimated 5 miles. That part was no big deal. I wasn't sure how far it was from my house to the storage unit. This was on 12/21/19 when I rented the uhaul. Then on 12/23/19 I check my account and they pulled a second payment. I had the truck only for 2 hours instead of the 6 hrs like I thought I was going to need. I went to the location and got into a screaming match because the old guy working thought he would win and he couldn't tell me why there was another charge. I got no reason why there's a second charge to my account. They also had the gas mileage wrong in the first place. Then tried to act like it was my fault. They didn't do their job checking it before I even showed up. I will never recommend them to anyone nor will I ever use them again. Highly dissatisfied customer.
