UHaul charged us for 2 additional gallons of gas. UHaul didnt give us a full tank to start which it ALWAYS should so we know how much gas to put in to make it like we got it instead of somewhere below F but above 3/4 of a full tank. My husband filled it and was sure it was where it was at when we got it. Uhaul thought differently and charged us their rate. Be careful of UHaul taking advantage of this - WATCH YOUR GAS LEVEL...ask for a full tank would be my recommendation!!!MATTHEW N.

The only issue I had with this location was that it seemed like they were also a little short staffed. There were only two people on the lot taking truck returns and there was a line halfway around the block. I was told I only had to worry about the rental fee and a variable fee per mile driven, but instead I received 2 additional $30+ fuel fees. When I tried to resolve this issue via online chat on the UHaul website, the employee I was having a conversation with cut off the conversion and left me without a resolution. The wait time to talk to a representative was awful. I was in Milwaukee trying to get a location drop off and it said it would be an hour hold. Then we got disconnected. I called another number was on hold for 15 min. The customer service representative was absolutely wonderful! Just wish there was not such long wait times and more wonderful employees to answer the calls.Crystal H.
I could NEVER got through via phone to this specific location. Was always transferred to the main U-Haul operator. I had a specific question I needed to ask that location. So I gave up trying. When I was there picking up my vehicle and no one other customers were at the location I called just to see if they would pick up. Again, went to main U-Haul customer. Not sure why they even post the phone number for this location. Also, when checking in it was not a very friendly experience. The workers were not very friendly. This location was not busy. Took me nearly 3 weeks and multiple times contacting Uhaul support to get my account closed out after moving out of the unit. Customer service was beyond poor and made what was a relatively easy and smooth experience very frustrating. I would not recommend doing business with this location to anyone. Place of pick up was nice and people were very helpful. But the truck itself is horrible. Worst seats they can have can barely adjust them, radio sounds terrible there's no USB port to listen to your phone or even charge it. Mirror are adjusted manually. There's no way you can see the car you're towing while on the run. No cruise control? Really for a truck you use to cross the country there's no cruise control.Juan Carlos S.

The van was covered in human pee. They did not warn the drop off location about our experience which meant they were very confused as to why we were mad. It was not fun. I ordered a ubox for self-delivery. The uhaul computer system wouldn't allow the the store to dispatch the ubox so I had to pay $45 to rent a truck, load all of my stuff, bring it to uhaul, then cross load it into the ubox. Had to pay for the truck and also load my stuff twice in 100% humidity. Finally, the store said that it wasn't their fault so they weren't able to do anything to make this right for me. Poor service. I went outside twice to find the truck, 3 people were at the desk, nobody wanted to show the truck to me. I was rented a truck with a broken windshield, a check engine light on, and the receipt they gave me showed a tank 3/4 full when it only had 5/16 full showing in the vehicle. The teller was very rude with an actitud for no reason. I am still trying to figure out why he was so angry. I got all the requirements and I rented from this location before. This was a young guy that I had never seen before with a gangster actitud, I don't know why he was looking for a reason not to rent and why he was so mad at me. Despite clearly listed hours of operation, this location closed and locked their doors early. I arrived roughly 20 minutes before their listed closing time and waited for assistance in turning in the rental truck at their prescribed drop off location. After sitting there for almost 10 minutes, I watched employees start to leave. I decided to go inside but their doors were locked and I was instructed to use the app for after hours turn in despite still being before 7PM. The app took a few tries before finally working for me, but there were others that showed up shortly after me that gave up and just left the keys in the drop box, likely adding the $20 surcharge to their return.Kyle B.

First, our designated building had no carts for us to use. Second, The staff gave me a unit that already had a lock placed on it. I called for help, waited 20 mins, but was on a tight schedule so went to start moving things in. They left because “no one was there” - we called them to come back and remove the lock, while we waited we everything into that unit. When they finally arrived, they said they couldnt help me. She gave me the wrong unit and I needed to move everything to a new unit and n a completely different building. This not only made the already stressful moving experience more stressful, but it wasted about 2 hours of our time and energy because of the staff error and lack of attention to the issue when it occurred. For the trouble of moving everything a SECOND time, they said they would give me a free month of rent and we agreed. When I went to verify the free month they said they will actually only give me 20% off, but couldn’t verify that this actually happened. Overall, very poor service and attention to detail. I can’t confirm if I have actually received anything back for the issues but I wanted to communicate to this to hopefully avoid this issue for anyone else. After already moving into a unit, it is unacceptable to make someone move again. The issue should have been caught and remedied immediately, hopefully it will for future patrons! We visited our storage unit several times within two weeks and the same garbage that was laying there when we got there was still laying there outside the storage facility when we left. I've rented from Uhaul for every single move. This was the first year that I experienced such poor customer service. From the truck I had requested not being available day of (and the staff struggling to think of a solution for over half an hour) to my storage room move out not being processed for over a month. I was sent emails and mail threatening to put a lien on property in the storage unit despite moving out on the 11th of November. I tried calling the Walker's Point location multiple times and was always redirected to the Corporate number. Customer service reps for Corporate sent the Walker's Point location emails to tell them to get in contact with me, but they never did. Finally, I got a final bill yesterday reflecting my move out within the free month, no mention of late fees or anything. I assume it is because the staff finally took the time to actually go to my unit and see that it was cleaned out and empty. I will not be using Uhaul in Milwaukee for future moves. The only good thing you have going for you is being cheaper, but I would gladly pay more money to avoid the headaches I experienced this time around.Madeline O. | Overall Experience

Staff is very unprofessional. Don’t talk to your customers like they are your friends. Be compassionate when someone presents a problem to you, instead of acting annoyed that you have to follow up, respond to customers emails in a timely manner, allow customers to call the actual store itself if they need support. Found a roach on my belongings (how often are you exterminating?) Also, was charged for the month of December even thought my belongings were removed before the end of November. Spoke to the manager who said he would take care of it, still waiting for my refund…Just overall a ghetto experience. Getting the truck was fine, but the storeage location was a problem. 1st they rented me a store that was already rented. I didn’t find out til we were there with a truck full and couldn’t unload. Then they switched the rooms but I had to get a smaller room. From 10x15 to 10x10. Then I go with 2nd load and the card doesn’t work on it’s after hours so I had to keep the truck overnight for another night to have the card fixed so I can get into unload the truck. I had to upgrade my original reservation to a larger unit to store my belongings. When I got to my larger unit, there was a massive pillar in it which takes up a great deal of space that I needed. I didn't have the time or energy to go back and change units AGAIN as I was on a time limit to get things done.
