Have trucks with windows that do NOT leak rain on the driver and the person in the passenger seat. The water also damaged my personal property & caused me extreme emotional distress driving through a storm.

No have me check myself out by giving you location access to my phone with no way to check out if i dont. Not the locations fault. Uhaul thinks you are being tech and forward but returning the truck was a joke.

U-Haul can improve by having better options and/or communication about truck drop off locations. We had trouble returning the truck even though we were told we could return it to a nearby location. Erica in St Louis and Donna in Greenfield MA helped solve the issue and that reflects well on U-Haul.

You can start with not double charging your customers. I am still fighting with my credit card company on reversing the 2nd charge almost 7 wks later. All bc your company is claiming that I rented 2 trucks when I only rented 1. Horrible customer service

I was stymied and frustrated with the phone app I used - it asked/told me to read the odometer BEFORE telling me how to retrieve the key - so I was stopped dead in the process, thinking I had to enter the odometer reading, so did not press continue, and spent 20 minutes with the online helper trying to get the key - the app steps should GO IN ORDER - (photos, location, KEYS, odometer reading...etc) for those of us especially who are using it for the first time and want to do it right - the University City counter person was wonderful and helped me out, the phone app delayed my pickup and needs tweaking.

I have rented many trucks thru UHaul. I have had the opportunity to experience good customer service thru interactions with the employees. At this location, there was one women working the front desk. She was curt and not very friendly. In the rental process, I have always rented the truck and returned it the next day prior to the original rental time. This UHaul employee informed me that the rental fee would only allow me to have the truck thru 6:30 this eve. This was nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. She said it was company policy. She attempted to process myself and another customer at the same time. The result was it took twice as long to complete the procedures. She gave me the key and told me to go find the truck. At other locations I have been walked out to the truck, did an inspection verified gas tank and mileage. Not so at this location. Given an option, I would never rent from this location again.

Clarity of instructions and consequences. We had a 4:30 pickup time for a truck for two days. Because we didn’t pick it up in an hour, they canceled the second day of service. Was a tremendous inconvenience for us. The staff at the office showed no sympathy nor was willing to adjust our bill. Only Larry, the assistant manager, seemed to even care that we were customers.

I reserved a truck 3 days ahead of time and showed up at 9:30am on Sunday. There were roughly 8-9 people in front of me in line. It took me an hour and a half to get my truck and check out. Maybe I didn’t read the bill right, but somehow a $40 truck turns into a $140 truck. I got the insurance for $14 but other than that not sure how it came out to that much. The super long wait completely threw off our moving schedule and when I tried to return correctly and drop off with the Uhaul link you provide, it would not work. Truck was ok, but other than that everything else was not even close to satisfactory.

We have lots of boxes, and the only storage unit left is high above the ground. Hope that I can choose the unit when I make the reservation. It will be better to have an automatic lift
