My reserved rental was not returned. It cost me an extra $100. That should not be the case. The person who did not return the rental on time was charged extra. That should be taken off of my account. I should not have to pay an extra $100 because people do not return their rental on time. They pay ‘y’all a fee then I pay extra. BS

The manager was rude when I was trying return dolly lock doors and cut off lights also they don't communicate with there customers I was over charged but still paid it simple because when I purchased u haul there was no communication at all I returned vehicle that morning try to that nite but he lock door before closing time

First, my reservation was accepted and confirmed and then 1 day before I move and am supposed to pick up, they cancel and tell me to go pick up 55 mins away from me. Then randomly at 8pm the night before I get a text saying, nevermind be at original location. But then at original location, I had to give $100 deposit due to using a cashapp card because “card reader sees it as cash” and no problem but I was told at drop off location, we will be handed back our $100 CASH deposit. instead, we are now waiting an unknown amount of days to receive our $100 deposit back on my cashapp card. While moving, expenses are low and this truly inconvenienced my family. We are still out of $100 when we were told we would get it right back at drop off, and we were counting on that. Office very understaffed. Overall experience, ehh. Wouldn’t recommend.

The customer service is beyond HORRIBLE ! You will be charged for services that aren’t thoroughly explained to you . Then call you a liar . They discriminate. I watched them handle the opposite race with respect wearing a smile and when they got to me , the manger while demeanor changed …very very rude .Their truck I has quit plenty of time while I had it there very ridiculous.

When we picked the truck up from Winfield AL the truck only had 3 quarter of gas in it but I filled it up when we returned it. I thought when a person rent the truck that was one of the rules to have it back full.

My only complaint is that ramp to access indoor storage. It's VERY DIFFICULT to get the cart over it, and being disabled it was a major issue for me.

I rent uhauls at this same location all of the time , but I have never had to wait until they made sure they could get in touch with the additional contact person that you have to list before you can complete your pick up of your reservation. With all of your information that you have to provide for your rental I just don't think this part of your rental is necessary.

The clips that held the ramp up on the motorcycle trailer Were rusted so severely that one had to be cut off to be able to lower the ramp and use. I reported it immediately to the main support line who noted it. The employee who checked the trailer did indeed take care of things properly. Trailers with ramps should have these components checked before allowing to leave the lot.

The truck itself was terrible not clean the hood would not latch completely so it flapped around the entire drive. The alignment was out so driving over 50 was rough wore me out after 90 miles.

Make sure to check the fuel level in vehicles before turning them over to customers. My reserved truck showed 0 miles to empty and the alternate truck I was given was filthy and stunk of weed. After attempting to air out the smelly vehicle, I was forced to return and pick up the original truck after the facility had gassed it up. It was a disappointing experience and significant waste of time.

Our appointment was for 9am. On arrival at U-Haul, we were informed that the installer would not be there until 11am. Installation finished at approximately 3:30pm. Wife helped with reassembly. The installer gave me two bolts that were left over.

There was a backup of drop offs at the time I arrived but they still got me in and out in a hurry. Because of the stack up I had a long back up to spot the trailer but the attendant guided me (very inexperienced at this) through the process of backing up that short tongue trailer to put it where it belonged.

I didn’t really like the storage buildings outside being old back end of trucks… Didn’t seem very secure. I also got told one thing by employee telling me I was caught up on my rent and then got a late notice notification not 12 hours later saying, I was past due on my rent… Very confusing, but we did get it straightened out. Thank you so much to Melissa for helping straighten everything out. I just think that this site for storage could look a lot better With some tender, loving care at least to the outside storage trailers.

When I got to my unit, I didn’t have a lock to the unit. I call the number provided and they put me in touch with the manger over the building. Upon hearing my problem, he took quick action and made a trip to insure I had my lock. I know he probably had a long day but he came and offered us water to make sure we were hydrated.

They charged a $458.00 charge to my DC when I paid my storage online. I had to dispute it in order to get my refund. I was unable to access my unit after hours due to it being blocked by incoming uhaul trucks. Everything in my unit which was a basic "26 foot uhaul truck bed" without the cab attached to it, was molded. Yes, they offer insurance, band yes I had it, which made my storage $160.00 a month, 2 months prior to my moving out of it, I canceled the insurance and decreased my bill down to $140.00 a month. The 1st month free sounds great, but it still.isnt worth it. One of the most expensive places to rent a storage space, but not as big as other places for the same price. (SHOP AROUND!!!) GO PENSKE!!

Box leaked and ruined most of my things. Mice, roaches, other bugs in everything. Most of the time when I went to box there was either a rent a box, a trailer, or a uhaul truck parked in front of it so I couldn't even access my things. I sent a move out request 3 weeks prior to my payment due date and location staff were too lazy to address it to the point I got late payment notices and had to call and take care of it myself. I would've literally been better off putting my things in a pile and lighting them on fire. Oh, and when i first signed up they did my paperwork wrong and had me listed for a different box that my things were in, and my stuff almost went to auction because they had the box I was actually in registered to a delinquent account. Seriously, just close this place down.

I rented a uhaul and they accused me of stealing the uhaul. I didn’t know that I had to check in with my phone. They never told me that part. They even sent a text saying they were going to file a stolen report. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL TO THE TUPELO,MS LOCATION ON EAST MAIN STREET.

FYI Lock I was required to buy did not mesh well with the existing door hardware. Not allowed to use the padlock I brought, for which the person who was coming for the stored items, had a key. So, I went with the required lock (round) which had a scrollable password I could sent to the retriever of stored items. That device was very clever, but requires moving a lever to be operated to open it. Had to be placed upside down to work. The keyed version would have worked fine with the existing hardware.

First off doing a reservation online is worthless It took 30-45 min to get a storage unit. Ok I get they're busy now when I get the unit it's filthy roaches everywhere alive and dead the unit is 6 feet tall but halfway it's slanted to I ended up getting another unit( so I paid twice) which has a mouse trap inside. I just moved 1200 miles so I didn't have time to find another storage facility this location was convenient pick up a truck storage unit same spot. The ladies working the evening shift were pretty helpful the morning shift not so much there was no since of urgency just not good customer service.

I rented a truck on Feb. 28, 2022 at 2:30pm. They gave cancelled my rental and gave my truck away to a random person. There is a very young blonde girl who works there, she claimed that they thought the lady they gave the rental to was the same person because she had the same last name as the account owner(my mom). I purposefully did not book the rental on my account because they have always given me a hard time when having to deal with them. I made a brand new account in my mom’s name since she would be the driver. I read online that my mom would have to provide her driver’s license before they could give her the truck, so them giving the rental to a stranger at a 11am(not 2:30), I knew that they were lying. They just gave the rental away because of it being a rental for me. Like I said, they always have given me a head time and made me uncomfortable on every single occasion. I will never deal with U-Haul ever again. You need to be careful who you hire and make sure they will not discriminate people they are supposed to serve just because of their appearance or sexuality.

It seemed the corporate office and the stores need more communication. I arrived and my unit that I reserved on the phone was not available or unknown from the store staff. It was a short turn around from reserving the space but it felt like I was sold something that didn’t exist. The store staff walked the halls and found a few open and empty spaces and made it work.

I was charged a bill after 3 days which included late fees. After repeatedly calling asking for assistance, I was denied access to building because of a bill on which I didn’t owe. I was charged 64.95 for 7 days. This is a ripoff and my belongings can’t be lost based on someone refusing to get the issue resolved

For one, it cost too much for the small unit I had. Two, I cancelled my unit in January 2020. Gave the key and lock to the worker. And they were my keys and lock! I didnt need them anymore. I have not even been on that side of town since then....and yet they continued to charge me, sued me and auctioned something off for $1. Not that i cared.....since i CLOSED IT! Plus they always had a truck parked right in front of the units. Its inconvenient to never be able to access ur unit because the parking lot is so small and awkward and junked up. They never had adequate help...so the long wait for them to be able to move the trucks to access the unit was unnecessary and inconvenient. Id never recommend Uhaul in tupelo ms to anyone ever. Id recommend u just close the place down. Poor poor poor all across the board. Thumbs down

My storage unit had green slime in front of it and my stepfather and I almost fell because of it. The unit also had water standing in it and it molded all my furniture. I called three times to tell the manager about it and he never returned my calls. I went to uhaul office three times and left my complaint and phone number each time. He still never called me back. I finally got fed up and took my stuff out of there.

My only concern was I was on the second floor which means I had to climb up stairs and it’s so much hotter on the second floor compared to the bottom. They should incorporate air on the second floor

I couldnt use it, Storage was too small. I think all the storage unit need to be mopped and clean out in climate control. The associate Dewey was very helpful, he took his time to help us.

I got my storage on Nov.4 2018 I paid all my dues and received a letter November 28 2018 saying I owed 200 dollars in late fees when I had only got the storage 2 weeks prior. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!

An employee of UHAUL took a heavy dresser from my storage locker and would not return or pay for it. This was the fourth locker I had rented. I was moving to a new locker because of leaking roof.
