Make sure truck has at least 1/4 tank of gas like they asked me to leave in it, it was on fumes, then I filled it up and didn't get anything back for leaving almost 3/4 tank, because I didn't know how much the truck would use.Mark H.

Would recommend due to convenience. Next to extra shady hotel. After hours drop-off a bit scary. People roam the lot. Could not get Q code on the sign to work, long wait on customer service line then cut off called again 30-40 wait so left keys in drop box went back next day and waited in line for a bit. Well I actually rented the truck on April 24th and returned it April 25th. I am confused as to why it is May 10th and I am getting another bill from you all. I made a payment and got a receipt when I returned the truck now you are sending me a bill for more money. The manager in that location is a very rude and self absorbed person. He needs more training on how to treat customers. His response to all my questions were â€œI have no ideaâ€ When I returned the truck, I politely went to his desk to check out and pay him; but this man didn't even notice me because he was on the phone talking about himself. Earlier I had asked him if he received information on my rental and he said that he didn't have a clue. At least his trainees were better helps than he was. I arrived at my initial pick-up time to find 2 customers inside awaiting service. They said someone was there, but suddenly left. There were 2 employees standing around outside, when I asked if they could help they said no. Why have three employees and only 1 of them can help customers? After waiting 15 minutes and nothing happening I left and had to make a return trip an hour later. I'll go back to Penske next time.Michael S.

The guy at the front desk was real good, but the yard crew complained a lot and didn't clean the back of the truck. There was also a pond of water trapped in the side door of the truck. It would be better if this location wasn't so small making it way harder on the crew. So you can't blame themAndrew W.

Improve your on line vehicle return process. It wouldn't recognize that was sitting at the location and I was charged an extra day fee. Don't send out trailers with bald tires. Reserved this trailer at the Rodgers Rd location in Kansas City 20 mi closer to where I was staying, picked up at Blue Ridge and had to call road side to replace a bald tire (Rodgers location could not help me). Upper management needs to have different locations willing to help out customers. There was no customer service except Vanessa with roadside.Mike A.

This is not the location that I was supposed to pick the trailer up at when I reserved it online. I was supposed to pick it up in Lee's Summit on Market St. Upon arrival at the Lee's Summit location, they had no idea about my reservation and were not helpful in any way. I called 1800uhaul and was given a different location again that did not have my reserved trailer. Again I was directed to the location on Blue Ridge Blvd. I was on a tight time schedule and was not happy about having to drive to 3 different locations in 3 different cities after having placed a reservation at the first.Michael O.

The only issue I had was with the app. When I was trying to return the vehicle. I reached the point in the app where it wanted me to take a picture of the odometer. I took multiple shots and it would not accept. I tried various lighting and angles. I tried it with and without flash. I was able to see everything clearly in the picture yet it kept wanting me to retake it. I was there at least twenty minutes before I was able to get it to go through. I would say moving forward it might work better if it allowed me to take a picture with my camera and upload it rather than using it.Clayton A.

Two workers were both stressed & unhappy and letting everyone know when opening the store at 7:00AM. There were too many customers scheduled at 7:00AM and the process is too lengthy to checkout. This caused greater tensions between customers and staff due to the wait times. What to improve? Schedule pickup times according to available staff. It makes no sense to have 8 people waiting at 7:00AM when a staff of two can only process 3 or 4 per hour. Stop having the customer do the paper work from their phone. This is ok for pre-check but it just prolongs the process when customers have to fumble through it at the counter because they're not familiar with it, or like me; I had to go get my phone from my vehicle and then fumble through the checkout process. The store employee should be able to ask a few questions, scan the ID and take payment in 5 minutes or less, then do a quick walkaround on the equipment. Staff should do as much preparations the night before to ensure customers scheduled at opening time can be processed faster. Hire a process improvement person and streamline the checkout process. This was not the fault of the employees. This is just a poor process. I was the first customer in line and it took 30 minutes to checkout and get loaded (trailer), which caused me to be rushed for meeting my check-in time. Imagine what the 8th customer in line was thinking at this time.Greg M.

There was a mix-up with the rental. I was assigned a rental truck and I was called saying that I picked up the wrong truck when per you website the truck was assigned to me. I was called by your store asking me to bring the truck back. The employee never verified with me anything. I was able to get a truck but was delayed in my moving experience.
