My experience with this rental was the best I have had since renting at UHaul. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

MARK EHad issues with the truck from day 1. Contacted customer service and told them they needed to come pick up the truck as it couldn't be driven. Asked for location, (literally less than half a mile from where we picked it up). They never showed up or followed up so the truck sat there until I had a friend run the tags. They reported it stolen. SMH. I had the police tow it, showed them my correspondence with customer service, and they said to contact them if U-Haul tries to take it further. Annoying experience to say the least. They seem lazy. I mean, it took them months to give me a correct storage unit code, so I could only access my unit when they felt like driving over there and letting me in. Supposed to be 24 hr access. Very disappointed in all aspects.

ROBERT FThe auto transport dolly was covered with mud. I was afraid that a rock or some mud might fly off of the trailer while towing it and crack someone's windshield. I hate people who do that and do not want to be one of them!! Clean it before you give it to another customer!! Also, the fella that was out there made me wait a good 20 minutes blocking other traffic because there's a tiny narrow lane for people to hitch up to the equipment and it's the same lane that traffic should drive through. I had to back my trailer in when I got there which was fine and I'm capable of doing it but the guy came out and wanted me to move it to a different location but could not give me clear direction where he wanted the thing to be so I had to just back it up and park it somewhere in the middle of the way. It was awkward.
Ryan MGas was not at a quarter of a tank, so i had to put extra gas in the fucking tank, I called the the location over ten times and didn't get an answer. I probably won't use any Uhaul services again, only because when a customer is trying to reach a representative of the company no one answered the phone, also they don't check the truck gas hands.
Renee DI WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO A FRIEND ONLY IF THEY DO NOT EVER GET THAT TRUCK AGAIN AND I DON'T WANT THAT TRUCK AGAIN I THINK I'VE HAD THAT ONE LAST TIME I RANTED IN AUGUST. I WENT THROUGH U-HAUL QUITE A BIT AND ASBESTOS THIS LOCATION. I NORMALLY DON'T HAVE TOO MANY ISSUES JUST WITH THAT SAME EXACT TRUCK I JUST DON'T WANT THAT ONE BACK EVER AGAIN IT WAS PURE HELL. I COULDN'T GET A HOLD OF ANYONE AT THE LOCATION FOR ALMOST A WHOLE WEEK AND I COULDN'T GET ANY MANAGERS TO GIVE ME A CALL BACK TO COME UP WITH A RESOLUTION. THE STORE WAS CLOSED A FEW DAYS DUE TO THE HOLIDAY AND THEN IT WAS CLOSED AGAIN A COUPLE DAYS DUE TO EXTREMELY BAD WEATHER WHICH ALL BECAME MY PROBLEM AS WELL TO WHERE I COULD NOT EXCHANGE THE TRUCK OUT OR GET A HOLD OF ANYONE FOR OVER A WEEK. THIS LOCATION TRY TO CHARGE ME FOR ALL THE DAYS OF RENTAL UNTIL I HAD TO FIGHT TO MAKE SURE I WAS GOING TO GET THE PROPER REFUND FOR ALL THE ISSUES THEY TOOK OFF A COUPLE DAYS BUT THEY HAVE NOT WORKED ON THE EXTRA MILEAGE I HAD TO USE TO COME BACK AND FORTH IN THE EXTRA EXPENSES IT CAUSED ME THAT WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY DISABILITY AND MY BILL MONEY DUE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO REACH ANYONE TO KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO GET THIS OFF RESOLVED QUICKLY. IT END UP COSTING ME CLOSE TO $500 ALL BECAUSE OF LACK OF ANSWERING PHONES AND RETURNING CALLS FROM U-HAUL AS WELL AS DAYS THEY CHOSE TO CLOSE THE SITE DUE TO BAD WEATHER WHICH WAS NOT MY PROBLEM BUT BECAME MY PROBLEM. I ALSO GOT INJURED A COUPLE TIMES DEALING WITH THE BROKE DOOR ON THE BACK OF THE U-HAUL I HAD. I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT PROPER INFORMATION ON WHAT I NEED TO DO TO DO A REPORT. THERE'S STILL A LOT OF INFORMATION THAT NEEDS TO BE SHARED ABOUT THE TRUCK MY EXPERIENCE MY INJURY MY UNNECESSARY EXPENSES MY PAIN IM IN TOO DUE TO ALL OF THIS. SO CALL ME. STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE FROM CORPORATE OR THE DISTRICT MANAGER REGIONAL MANAGER OR GM TO GIVE ME A CALL BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. CALL MRS. TAYLOR AT 816-778-4450
LUANN TI should have gotten his name, but he seemed to be the manager on duty at the time. I was very impressed by him and the crew working hard in the terrible weather to make sure my trailer was cleared off and ready to go.

BRIAN GThey very clearly dropped my u-box and damaged multiple items. They then tried to claim that a 2 pound circular saw falling somehow ripped the door off the box. We watched them bring the box back out after they made us drive up there to look at the damage, guy who did it literally dragged the box out didn't even pick it up possibly causing more damage. Didn't even reimburse us for anything and made us a rent a truck to actually get our stuff home

DAVID LI have rented from U-Haul many many times in the past and I have to say the staff at this location was the best I've experienced. Helpful, friendly, they knew what they were doing, had me on my way in no time, greeted me when I returned the truck and thanked me for being a customer. Please let them know this level of service was greatly appreciated.

MONDELL HCustomer service was great! The truck itself on the other hand was one of my worst driving experiences. The truck constantly "bucked". Was instructed to fill up truck with gas, but truck continued to "buck" I'm assuming the type of truck I had, 26 ft, was the reason. Would not recommend getting a 26 ft truck again.

JEFFREY SCut ties with the moving companies you endorse on the U-Haul app. I booked with two different companies on Saturday and Sunday, and neither showed up and also the customer service on their part is the rudest, non accepting of any responsibilities or accountability bureaucracies I have seen pass the buck since the Clinton's. They are a reflection of U-Haul, but a completely different caliber of ethics and values than U-Haul.

CYNTHIA JIt was a disaster. First, I ordered my equipment in the same town I lived in, got there and they told me I had to drive thirty minutes out of my way to grab it there instead. My dolly didn't come with a ratchet so it could only hold one tire. A friend had let me borrow his considering I didn't have time to go back to the location that was thirty minutes from the opposite direction I needed to go. 3 hours into the drive the ratchet fell off and waited two hours for a maintenance man for uhaul to show up and he didn't even bring the ratchet we needed in the first place. After two and a half hours, we finally got back onto the road. It was supposed to be a five hour drive but ended up being 9 hours. I was already going through a lot and this just didn't help how emotionally unstable I already was at the time.

JERALD FHad a slight issue with truck, but it was quickly fixed with a claim. Was followed up quickly with a call from the rental place. Both associates I talked to on phone made the experience great.

DAGOBERTO APart of the dashboard had fallen out when the vehicle was in use. This could have caused serious problems while driving--both to the physical safety of the driver and to their ability to drive. We were told we did not get the truck we reserved because it was "all the way in the back".

Not having access during hours promised on contract. On one occasion I came to get in 30 minutes before store closed and the clerk refused to let me in. I always had to wait while clerks finished helping customers inside store though I was a paying customer. I hope not needing storage space again but if needed I will definitely look into other places.

Hope G | First ImpressionsI was completely dissatisfied….I didn’t use my storage for a full month and was charged for a full month….I also was unable to get my things out of storage for 1 full week because of the parking lot asphalt being replaced and painted….there was no warning or head up notices for this work being done….July 31st I was surprised to see the place was coned off to access the facility…I was told by august 4th that I would have access….on august 4th I was told I wouldn’t have access until august 6th….the results of me hiring movers twice, no access twice, not using the unit for a month, not having access for a week, and not being compensated for time and money I spent, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all….and I will be contacting corporate to make another complain about this situation…
Harlon B | Overall ExperienceThe U-Haul "System" seems to be pretty poor. When I reserved a trailer in Birmingham AL to move sone things to Grandview MO, they asked if I needed any storage. I reserved a storage space at Truman Corners in Grandview but when I arrived there to turn the trailer in, they said there were no unit's available. It was only because of the General Manager's efforts to work out a solution for me that it worked out at all. Great job by the manager but pretty poor job by U-Haul. The staff at U-Haul said this is not uncommon. The U-Haul reservation system seems to be the problem. That is not good customer service or good business practice. Great job by the GM and one other staff person at Truman Corners for finding me a storage solution.
