The guy that helped us was phenomenal. We've rented uhauls before, and the customer service was good. However, the guy we had Saturday was helping 2 to 3 customers at a time, was super friendly, answered everyone's questions, and still got all 3 of us he was helping out at the same time. We were in store less than 10 minutes. He was great.

I've rented from this business three times over the last decade. Every time I've visited U-Haul Moving & Storage of Towne East for u-hall's or propane I'm greeted by abnormally happy employees. This place is great! The staff is fantastic and I highly reccomend passing on all the other places and head straight to U-Haul Moving & Storage of Towne East for all your moving, storage and propane needs!

They will over charge you. I had a local move 6 miles and a $19.99 cargo van i have been charged $30.91 then the next day I was charged $18 and then 2 days later I was charged another $30.91 I will be there in person to talk with a manager about this fraud uhaul has on my account.

Stay up-to-date on alignment on the vehicles. A heavy load pulling to one side can be dangerous. Otherwise, fantastic staff and vehicles

Had the worst service on this store, I rented a trailer, took it back two hours before the time. I got three charges to my credit card one for $307.08, $388.67 and $81.59, all those charges made my credit card be over the limit, just because Justin Scerini who received the trailer from us did not did his job. I will never recommend this store to any one. Trailer was returned 11/22/2021 today is 12/03/2021 and my credit card still have those charges

It would have been nice to know about the after hours return policy. If you don't check equipment back in online they charge $20 even though it was dropped of on time. Employee never said anything about it when picking up equipment and I was told “ policy in the contract paperwork they gave me” when I called and asked about it.

The truck was great and drove very well. However, the seal around the drivers door did not fit tight which caused a roar as I drove down the interstate.

The utility trailer with a ramp is a little misleading. It boasts a 6 foot width but you lose about 2 feet of it with the two lips beside the ramp. Unless you see it in person first this is not apparent online. I rented it to move a small tractor that is 5 feet wide at its widest part and was unable to use the trailer. I basically wasted my money on it. The location and employees were very good though, would recommend them.

the truck needs front end work. the alignment is off and you can feel knocking as the truck goes over bumps. i suspect some worn parts either in the steering or the suspension.

Please check your trucks! You have got to 70 mile when I got to my location the engine was making noise in the oil was checked and there was no oil in the engine at all. I had a purchase oil to put in it I was reimbursed for it but the value of the truck if the engine would've of locked up could of been crazy expensive and I'm glad I had insurance. Just Maintenance your trucks that was ridiculous

Be able to extend rental without charge when there are emergencies that cause delays that are out of renters control. My father in-law had a medical emergency the day of our move and we had no good options with the local manager.

There was trash left in the van from the last two users including their contracts, a used toothbrush, and a used facemask. These were all in obvious places in the cabin itself; not in the cargo area. When I pointed it out to employees, the attitude was “oh well“. There was no sorry or anything else, the employee just wanted to get the bill closed and me out of there. I suppose I should've acted like it a jerk instead of being nice about it. Maybe then I would've got some reasonable response such as an apology or even an offer of a discount.

This has nothing to do with the location as I have used them numerous times over the last few decades. The Mobile App fails to meet my expectations. I was unable to take a picture of my dash to show the mileage and gas as it would not accept any picture I took. There is a green checkmark that appears to be an OK but there is nothing to continue and accept the picture. Any option I tried with the checkmark or X failed and I was unable to continue. Being unable to continue after ten attempts, I gave up, which means the app fails and degrades the customer experience. Apparently from the staff at the site, this happens on a regular basis.
