My online reservation confirmed that a pickup truck and trailer would be available. However, upon arrival, I was informed that due to other customers taking the trailers, I would not be able to get both. I was told I could pick up a trailer from a different location and the truck from my reserved location. Due to time constraints, I ended up paying almost double to rent a large cargo van, which I did not need. I am not upset with the store, but if items are not actually available for reservation, please remove the option to reserve them.

felecia cNeeded a last minute truck and Jason was able to get us one. Had the truck ready, warmed up and ice/snow cleaned off of the windshield for me. Much thanks to him and his people at the store!!
ANTHONY KI had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to get the key to the truck and the guy at the counter was very rude when I questioned him on why they didn't have anyone at the counter to help people. Their were 5-6 other people also waiting. It would be better if they had a way to get the key without having to wait on someone. (lockbox or something like that). I was late getting into my storage facility and the gates closed so I couldn't get in and had to wait until the next day so I had to extend the U-Haul truck rental. If I could have got the keys sooner, I would have had enough time and not had to extend the rental.
Jennifer HClean broken glass from parking lot. Truck had leaf and yard debris in back. I had to clean it before I could load it. Trailer was dirty too, but the representative used a leaf blower to remove debris from it. The check engine light was on, truck averaged 6 miles to the gallon! Which in my opinion, directly contradicts the "fuel savings" advertised on the cab of the truck. I spent close to $300 in fuel that should have been only 1/3 of that. The trailer lights didn't work right and when I mentioned it, the representative said, "it's too late. I'm not fixing that". No. I will never use UHaul again. It would have been cheaper to have just rented a POD from another company and have them deliver it.

HALEY MU-Haul takes advantage of their customers. I rented a 15ft truck one way. They gave it to me for 2 days. I only needed it for 1. I returned the truck same day, under mileage and with more gas (not intentional). U-Haul still charged full price even though the truck was able to be rented earlier than expected. Shame on U-Haul!
Andrew TDidn't have the utility dolly we wanted but luckily we were able to phone a friend. Other than that staff was great and everything worked the way it should.
GAGE HOur U-Haul truck was missing the catalytic converter when we received it. This makes me think the truck was not inspected after the previous renter, nor did they do a pre-inspection. When he brought the truck back to trade it for another, movers were hired by U-Haul to unload and reload another truck. They were not experienced and the packing was atrocious. My items have been damaged. I will call to file a claim tomorrow.

JESUS REverything was great except for the 7$ "vehicle recovery fee" that is non-refundable if I bring back the rented vehicle. You advertise 19.95 for the pickup/vans and then tack on all these extra fees and that is ridiculous. I only needed a van for less than an hour. Either update the pricing or let it be refunded for your customers who are following the process.

DANIELLE JI had issues with the first one. It was dirty and smelled like cigarettes smoke. Took it and put &30.00 gas in it and pulled on highway. The transmission was slipping on it and the RPM's went crazy. At 60Mph they were almost to 5500 RPM's. It also couldn't go in reverse. I sat for quite a while on side of road. The second truck was very clean. I drove off and had the same thing happen to transmission as the first. I called and left messages for someone to call me. I'd like to get the $30 back from first truck as well some some credit for having issues. It took 7hr for me to get home when it should have taken 4hrs.
DONALD GAfter paying $1694 for a one-way rental, they wanted to charge me $20 to help unload my vehicle from the tow dolly. I paid for the SafeMove for the truck & dolly plus $7 extra for SafeTrip. The agent in AZ didn't mention that I would need to pay for loading help when I picked up the truck. Was I charged? I haven't looked at detailed receipt. He also failed to mention that I would be charged for unloading help at my destination. Customers hate being nickel and dimed after paying thousands of $ in fees.

I went to the U-haul store at 5213 in person and scheduled the hitch to be installed at a later date, when that date came the new employee had not completed the paperwork correctly, so no hitch. 2. We then made another appointment and when I arrived for my appointment they stated another u-haul store failed to tell them they did not have the hitch. 3. They finally expedited and had a hitch sent to them. I was called and told to bring my car in on that Saturday at 9 am and they would get it done. I show up on Saturday and the workers there state I have to leave my car as taking in rental reservations is the priority. So I take an Uber home. They got the hitch installed and done by 11 am so they made it right. My complaint is your system for procuring your hitches stinks! In addition, it feels like other branches have no accountability for failing to do their job! Randel PI had a rough start to my move day before getting to the Uhaul store. But the guys there made getting my truck easy and quick which made my day so much better. Returning the truck took less than 5 mins. They went above and beyond. This is why I use Uhaul for every move. Please give extra kudos to the guys at the Pawnee Uhaul....they were awesome!

Then I paid for a "dolly" for an extra $7.00 and you guys didn't even put a dolly inside the truck! (Thanks for that! You wasted my time, got my move started off to a crap start, so I was late, and then charged me for some equipment that I didn't even have. You guys really should reach out to my number and try and make this right, if nothing else, at least give me back my fee for the dolly and take some percentage off for the cleaning nonsense.

MELODIE WFirst of all I was told there is no customer parking. I called the manager and had to get permission to park my motorcycle on the lot. Second the truck I got needs front end work extremely bad. It has 4 to 6 inches of play in the steering wheel. Customer service was ok at its best. When I told the assistant manager to call his boss he was more than reluctant to do so. (That is putting it nicely) thanks for the rental and I hope these issues are resolved promptly

One of the options was to claim it in person however there was not an option for the person helping me to claim it. I had to call and have someone from UHaul help. Once it was taken care of the person at the store was helpful and finished helping me. However the confusion made it seem as if he was not willing to help. I think his hands were tied and he really didn't know how to help. He just kept telling me that I was at the wrong place and that they didn't have the promotion I was given. Even though I showed him that it said I could use any location as long as the location was participating. He did show me that he didn't have a way to except my code. In the end it worked out. I think the email promotion should be clearer and the UHaul stores should have information about it.

I ONY came to this 1 due to convivence of location. The parking is slim, 6 of the spots close to door is so you can advertise trucks, WHY? DUH I was located on the 2nd floor, a lift of some type would be handy instead of ALL stairs. People have stuff to move and it hurts your back taking those stairs multiple times. AGIAN the most inconvenient set up and layout of a Uhaul center I have ever entered. DEF will not recommend nor ever use again. I rather drive an extra 4 miles out of my way to a better center
